My family and I arrived around 330AM on a Friday night/Saturday morning. Service: 4/5 The Night staff was awesome, hospitality was IMPECCABLE! From the receptionist , bellhop helper, security, you name it! I wish I could remember their names but the receptionist was a young African American male about early-mid 20s! The morning crew and afternoon crew need some pointers from the night shift staff because they need some work. Rooms: 3/5 Our room had 2 full size beds, they were nice and spacious for all 4 of us (3 adults & 1 child). No microwave was an inconvenience but it wasn’t too big of a deal since our short was stay. Overall I would rate our stay a 4/5 (Would have been 3.5/5 had it not been for the service we experienced when checking in.

We attended the Chicago International Miniature show at the nearby Marriott O'Hare. Because that hotel was full, we booked the Springhill Suites. They ran a shuttle to the other hotel with a super nice front desk staffer driving. The hotel itself was fine and the free breakfast was above average. Parking was on long surface lots on both ends of the hotel, but there is also an underground garage. The onsite Outback steakhouse was a plus. Rooms were good, nice and quiet despite being near airport and freeway with a microwave and small fridge
Hyatt Place Chicago O'Hare Airport

In my last three stays in this hotel, I have seen nothing but unprofessionalism and even harassment. I have stayed in this hotel many, many times in the past. In recent years, this place has become like a truck-stop. Let me first give you a brief summary of the recent owner’s cost-cutting operations: The hotel provides a soap which is about an inch and so thin that with one hand-wash it disappears. Pretty insane. I had to walk to a Target to buy soap so I could properly clean myself as a human being. The so-called breakfast is a joke to say the least. Even coffee is nothing but brown water now. Even napkins have transformed. Restaurant/bar is also another disaster… Elevators were not working when I was there (for inspection) but there was not a single apology from the hotel. Upon return from Turkey the other night, I also found out that they there was no longer a shuttle pick up from Terminal 5. I had to take a taxi. I am a world traveler and I can list many other cost-cutting details here but let me come to my biggest issue: With my World of Hyatt membership status, I was given a 2:00 pm check-out on February 10. It was about 11:45 am. I was on the phone trying to arrange something urgent for the earthquake victims in Turkey. Someone started to pound on my door (I had “do not disturb” sign on), she was literally screaming! I opened the door… She was still screaming saying that I had to leave. I said to her in the middle of my phone meeting: “I am having an emergency call now and I have a 2:00 pm check-out. I also showed her my sign at the door. After that she left me alone… Before I left for my flight, I shared some of this experience with some workers in the hotel. They said: “She treats us worse. She is the owner…” I have decided not to stay in this place anymore as it has nothing to do with the Hyatt experience. I am also thinking about taking legal action against this property for violating my privacy. I have seen some hotels in China like this but never anywhere else. The name “Hyatt” should not be associated with this family-operated “hotel.”

I walked into the room and thought it smelled like cigarette smoke and it was a nonsmoking room, so I called the front desk, and he was able to get me checked into a new room in minutes. Super pleased with my stay and grateful for the amazing service!

It's fine for where and what it is. Unfortunately I waited forever at the airport for the shuttle and it never came so I had to hop on a neighboring hotel's shuttle and then walk over. BECAUSE I GUESS THE SHUTTLE DRIVER NEEDED HIS AFTERNOON NAP.

We missed a flight, were stuck in Chicago, and booked a night here and couldn’t have been happier. Jennifer at the front desk helped with getting dinner picked up and delivered and everyone treated us great. Indian restaurant delivered late.
Comfort Suites Chicago O'Hare Airport

My 2 friends and I chose this hotel due to its proximity to Oak Park. We wanted a suite with a living area with a sofa bed separate from the bed room. Unfortunately when I pulled out the sofa bed for the first night, I realized the mattress wasn't very comfortable. We were tired and I decided to deal with it. I received a text Saturday morning inquiring about our stay. I texted back that the mattress was not very comfortable on the sofa bed and asked if it could be replaced. I quickly received a text back that said unfortunately they didn't have any new mattresses, but would bring me a second mattress to put on top of the first one. That made the bed much more comfortable the 2nd night. While this hotel needs new sofa bed mattresses, they responded to me quickly and honestly and did what they could to improve the situation. The price we paid for 3 people for 2 nights was very reasonable. There was a hot breakfast both mornings that met our needs. We had dinner on Friday night at the attached Uno Pizzeria. The food was very good and the waiter couldn't have been nicer. We had enough food left over for dinner Saturday night after a late lunch. The room had a microwave and refrigerator. All of us were pleased with our accommodations and would return.

This was only an overnight stay to connect us onto our next flight. The hotel is quite dated, old, we were surprised. The hotel wasn’t cheap in cost; but it felt like we were staying in an old motel. I tried to convince myself, “it’s only one night”. We waited over an hour for the shuttle bus to take us to this hotel, less than a 10 minute ride. It was very tiresome and frustrating. The bus is a shared bus with The Marriott hotel. So the front of the bus is labeled Marriott and the side of the bus says Hilton. So we could have missed it by only reading the front of the bus. All in all, I wouldnt recommend this hotel. The shuttle was unreliable. Unlike other Hilton hotels, this hotel did not have a 24 hour free-flow coffee table.

Beautiful hotel! We loved the matching bird house and the birds that also enjoyed staying there! Staff was very kind and quickly brought a new Keurig machine when we found ours wasn't working. The pool and exercise rooms were well maintained with up to date equipment!

Just returned from a 4-day stay at this hotel. First with positives, its location is great for those who need to be in downtown for business. It was within walking distance to corporate offices. Close to amenities like Walgreens, Whole Foods, Starbucks, etc. I didn't interact with many staff, but Brandon at front desk was phenomenal. He was the only person manning the check-in. Despite being short staffed, he was calm, very helpful and smiling. He needs a raise. As for the room, it has a lot to be desired. Toilet works with every 3rd flush. Popcorn ceilings. Small bathroom with hardly any counter space for toiletries. Shower with low water pressure. Hallway hardly had AC so it was stuffy. A coworker who stayed across the hall from me woke up with bug bites.
