5-Star Hotels in Quebec Province, Canada

I had a truly memorable stay at this iconic hotel in Quebec City. The property has a timeless, classic charm and is especially well-known among Korean visitors as a filming location for the K-drama Goblin, which made the experience even more special. The room was very comfortable, with a cozy bed and a beautiful blend of heritage character and modern touches throughout the hotel. You can really feel the history while still enjoying all the contemporary comforts. One of the highlights was joining the hotel’s guided tour program—it was such a fun and insightful way to explore the property and learn more about its story. Overall, a unique and enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Quebec City.

My sister and I just finished visiting my son in Toronto and we decided to visit Montreal. We booked 2 rooms. We had a terrible experience at Royal York Fairmont . We got kicked out from the lobby lounge by Karen over there for voicing our concern for the service being slow. For we had absolutely low expectations for QE. When we checked in there were 3 staff at the counter. 2 of them were engaged in their friendly conversation and one of them stepped up to help us. I thought that was totally unprofessional for the staff chatting among themselves in front of guests. Rooms are basic and clean. The location is central. The staff has showed no warmth and attention. In Asia a hotel of this level will greet u warmly and the better one will remember your name. Services at restaurants in Montreal are top notch. We visited some with long history and the staff took pride to explain to us the history. It is a shame Fairmont has some of best historic buildings in Canada and the staff showed no interest to highlight the history of the buildings. I travelled a lot for me to earn a diamond member here. I will avoid staying at Fairmont and any of their member hotels from now on.

Nice hotel, but without a lot of activities...and rather limited choice of restaurants and bars.

Cleanliness and service were just average. However, the location is excellent; the ambiance was elegant, and the food was good. Its proximity to the subway makes transportation incredibly convenient. The surrounding area is well-equipped with amenities, offers a huge selection of fantastic dining options, and is also close to several universities and art schools.

Sofitel was an amazing place! We really enjoyed the welcome service, the location was decently convenient, the hotel was clean, and it was close enough to amenities and restaurants. I do wish it looked more pretty on the outside, inside, and there was a more grand lobby. The lobby area was okay, and it doesn’t feel too premium.

Our stay was perfect! Checkin was seamless. The staff was extremely kind and helpful! The room was clean and exactly as pictured. The electronic features of the room were an added bonus (motion sensor lighting and electronic blinds/curtains, sensor and heated toilet). The location was amazing and so close to everything. The concierge helped us find a fun speakeasy within walking distance and checked in with us afterwards. Best weekend trip in a long time!

The hotel is in a great location, with good interior design and large rooms. However, the breakfast restaurant is quite ordinary, not a buffet, but a la carte. You can choose to eat outside. Opposite is a luxury shopping mall, close to various attractions. It is a little far from the old town and needs to walk for a while.

The hotel front desk service is enthusiastic, especially when we go out, they chased us to the door and gave us a local tourist map. Bottled water and coffee are unlimited in the room. There is a subway bus downstairs of the hotel, which can reach any attraction you want to go to in Montreal. The location is very convenient.

This is a perfect hotel. It has no other problems except being expensive. It is the best hotel in the whole trip. I stayed there for two nights. After returning from the second night, I received a notice saying that the water supply in the whole Montreal was cut off. But I still gave it a five-star rating. I didn't have a shower that night, and there was no water until I checked out the next day. The hotel delayed my check-out until 1 o'clock and gave me four more bottles of mineral water. There is a jewelry store downstairs from the hotel, and there are watches. I liked one but it was out of stock. It was also very comfortable to sit at the door and feed the pigeons

The room is large and warm, the parking is convenient, the maple leaf season hotel is full of red maple, the price is very high, the dinner is eaten on the first floor of the hotel, the dishes are good and the service is ecologically warm
