5-Star Hotels in Anhui, China

This was the most expensive hotel in my whole China trip by far but it was also the best restaurant with amazing breakfast options. The room was just okay, not bad but not worth the price and it had no view from the room even though it is marked as Mountain View. It is also far (about 1 hour hike) away from the closest popular points to watch sunrise and sunset. I would consider a different hotel next time that is closer to the hiking route because it took us almost 8 hours to hike here after taking the Yuping cable way up. It was almost dark when we arrived at the hotel and we headed up the mountain at 9 am.

I was upgraded to a suite, which was a nice surprise me. The staff was nice in general, and responded quickly to my requests. There are some areas for improvement. At the breakfast, I ordered dumpling. The service staff, who prepared dumpling for me, did not wear a mask. I saw him using his dirty hands, which just cleaned his nose, to add ingredients to the bowl. This was disgusting. The signs for the elevators near the entrance to the mall are misleading in indicating the floors that the elevators can reach.

Amazing stay, wonderful breakfast, kind and helpful staff, especially the cleaning staff, view was stunning and the room was perfect. The gym was quite nice and pool was sweet as well, especially enjoyed the sauna! Hotel was very flexible with the checkout time and let us stay longer since I had a late flight, would recommend 100%, any time I will be at Hefei I am choosing them, it’s a bit far from the centre but 20mins by taxi isn’t too far and the hotel area is cozy as well

We really enjoyed our stay here, from beginning to end, the staff were all very welcoming and helpful! They provided free pick up from the shuttle stop in TangKou (call hotel to request), and lots of tips for our trip to Huangshan. Location is very convenient and views were beautiful. You can leave your luggage here during checkout and pick up after heading down from the mountain. We'd stay here again! Only thing is food options around is a bit limited.

The hotel has a great location and convenient transportation. There are shopping malls and aquariums nearby. It is very convenient for shopping and taking the kids out. It is very cost-effective. The front desk service is great. I will stay there again next time!

My mother lives near the Olympic Sports Center. She always stays in the surrounding area when she comes here every year. She has stayed at Langham and Grand Hyatt. I feel that this time Swan Lake Hotel is particularly worthwhile. The room is large and comfortable, the lake view is beautiful, and the parking lot is large. It completely crushes other hotels. It is worthy of being the first five-star hotel in the government district, and the service attitude is also super good. The breakfast of the hotel is extremely rich and varied. I think next time I bring my mother here for breakfast, she will be very happy.

The hotel has very good location which is close to the metro line 1 and line 2. Our room was on the 23rd floor, it's clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and the breakfast starts at 6:30am, has a wide range of choices and very handy for elderly people. The hotel building also has restaurants, cafes and beauty salon in it.

The hotel offers pick up and drop off service, one time each to and from the bottom of Huangshan and the hotel, got to contact the hotel and book a slot before hand. The front desk service was excellent. Was well introduced to the hotel amenities and staff offered advice on hiking routes. A wooden hiking stick was offered f.o.c. Great location near the yugu cable car entrance, 5 min walk away. The restaurant offers a wide variety of local Chinese food. The serving size and price is way better than that of Tangkou village. The room is true to the pictures, no cold air conditioning but the room was cooled from the external cold weather. Things are new and clean, though mould spots could be seen on the wall. Free bottled water provided. Hot (plain water) springs available at no extra charge for guests. Swimsuits can be bought on the spot, women's for 100yuan, men's for 50 yuan, if design is not a matter. The dining and hotspring service time was not an issue to us. The hotel also offered pick up service from Hotspring bus station if guests took the yuping cable car down. Had a great time staying in this hotel. Lived up to the price, as compared to older and pricey hotels further up the mountain.

I have stayed in this hotel many times. It is as good as always. The hotel is in a good location, the environment is very comfortable, the bedding is very comfortable to sleep, there is no odor, and the non-smoking room is thoughtfully arranged. The room butler service is very timely and any problems are solved immediately. The welcome fruit is thoughtfully presented. The main thing is that this time, the dining coupon for the executive lounge is also presented, which is particularly thoughtful for me who does not want to go out for dinner at night. Sheraton is getting old… a renovation would be highly appreciated . Also stuff don’t speak a single English word… which for international hotel chain is an embarrassment

It was my first time staying at The Langham Hefei, but I can also say it was my third as I extended my stay twice. The staff's courtesy, warmth and the right level of care started right at the moment I entered the hotel lobby. The wall to wall and floor to ceiling marble can be cold, but The Langham Hefei 's lobby feels warm and welcoming due to the yellow hue of its lighting I believe and its staff. I immediately smelled flowers after I stepped in the lobby, pleasant, not overwhelming. It came from a huge bouquet composed of hundreds of pink lilies, not the pink roses representing The Langham. I prefer lily's smell anyway. The bouquet is by the front desk, so guests could enjoy lilies while waiting for check-in. As a matter of fact, I waited no time. Ada Yang greeted me immediately and checked me in within 2 minutes. I was very glad I moved from the other 5-star hotel which I had been told was the ceiling of the Hefei hotel scene. It took that hotel 10 minutes to check me in. The breakfast experience at The Langham Hefei was also great! The Seasons restaurant is big enough so that the seating was always available whenever I went down, which was not the case at the other hotel. In addition to daily cleaning, House keeping also came in the afternoon to make sure every everything is in good order and ask if additional supplies are needed. After two nights stay, I decided to change my original hotel hopping plan and continued staying at The Langham Hefei. It was again Ada Yang who helped me with the extension. She was warm, professional and efficient as always. Due to my itinerary change, I extended my stay the second time. This time it was Kristen He (XIAO He) who helped me. I experienced the same Langham quality from Xiao He - courtesy, warmth, knowledge and efficiency. She explained to me the responsibilities of each front line role and Langham's efforts to optimize guests' experience.She even went extra miles to ask her manager's permission to give me a complimentary Happy Hour. The Happy Hour is on the 44th floor at The Langham Club where mini buffet and beverage are provided 5:30 - 8:00pm. The staff there, Tracy, Lucy and Anne, were equally exceptional! They were proactive and ready to help. I asked for a Cosmo, but the cranberry juice had run out. Lucy made one with grapefruit juice and it tasted wonderful! Thank you, Ada, Xiao He, Tracy, Lucy, Ann and each every staff I met, you made my stay a memorable one!

Hotel is located very conveniently near the river and 5 min walk from Tulxi old town. You can get a public bus to/from Huangshan North Railway station. Heater wasn't working but the staff was very accommodating and gave me the portable one. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice. Will stay again here.

We stayed at the Qinman hotel 13-16.05.24 for the trip to Huangshan mountain and nearby Hongcu village. Despite the hotel situated ~3km from the tourist bus stop we find the location one of the big benefits: there is no hustle, loud noises of the cars and hordes of tourists: you can peacefully relax and enjoy quite and slow mornings and evenings. The hotel is beautifully designed? Rooms are spacious and perfectly cleaned. The staff of the hotel is very attentive to all questions, very friendly and polite, even despite we didn't speak Chinese the personal organized our stay perfectly and used WeChat with translations to give online feedback to any requests! Special thanks to Ms. 慧慧 HuiHui she helped organize transfers, morning breakfast for takeaway and tea with delights to our hot springs. Worth to note! This hotel has its own private hot springs, in May temperature in n the evening can go down to ~18C, fresh hot water helps you relax after long busy days and mind can fully rest in the silence of the night. One of the surprises of the stay was free laundry, it is extremely useful after hikes in n the mountains. Hotel restaurant has great breakfast with local farmer's products and freshly ground good coffee from reputable roasters. If you are a tea lover you'll find tea store from farmers just in front of the main gates, in the rooms you'll find local tea and tea set for tea ceremonies 😀. What is more? The dinner is delicious, especially local fishes. If you arrive by the bus to Tangkou the hotel staff can organize a transfer from and to bus station for free. We highly recommend Qinman hotel for everyone!

This trip to Huangshan, staying at Huangshan Shilin Yashe, left me with an unforgettable and beautiful memory. The hotel is located in a unique location. On the top of Huangshan Mountain, when you open the window in the morning, the beautiful mountain scenery surrounded by clouds and mist will hit your eyes, making you instantly intoxicated. I have to mention the food here. The ingredients are all local specialties. Every dish is beautiful and exquisite, with good color, fragrance and taste. One bite, it is full of the unique local flavor, which brings an ultimate enjoyment to the taste buds. What touched me most was the service of the hotel. When we came, it was raining heavily on the mountain, and we were soaked all over, and our mood became a little depressed. But the warm and thoughtful service of the housekeepers instantly dispelled the haze. They kindly helped us prepare clothes for change and took the wet clothes to dry. Under their care, we quickly regained comfort and felt the warmth of home. This stay experience was great. I will definitely choose this place when I come to Huangshan in the future!

The room is clean, the breakfast is exquisite, and the hotel has a beautiful environment, as if you are walking into the garden of a wealthy family in Huizhou. The hotel is located in a quiet place in the bustling city, close to Huizhou Old Street and Liyang Old Street, and it is convenient to eat around. There are many barbecue and specialty food restaurants within a few dozen meters of walking distance at night. It is a good place for a parent-child vacation.

An amazing experience at an incredible location! Shuguangli Villa is located just 10 minutes from the Houzi Guanhai scenic viewpoint and is a peaceful retreat from the, at times, massive crowds that come to visit Huangshan. The hotel property is wonderfully landscaped, and the bungalows feel secluded with their own porches and gardens. While the exterior appears rustic, each room is well equipped with amenities and is quite modern. We especially appreciated the foot massager after a long day of hiking. The staff are also superb. We were received warmly and were well-attended to throughout our stay. Our dinner and breakfast were also excellent, showcasing local Anhui dishes and ingredients. It’s additionally special considering how difficult it is to get things up the mountain peak. Honestly can’t wait to come back!

Excellent! This is the best option to stay in the Huangshan area to visit the mountains and surroundings. This boutique hotel is located extremely quietly in the middle of the bamboo forests and tea plantations away from the bustle and hustle, busy streets, people and noisy restaurants- exactly what we needed after a day on the mountain. At the same time it’s only 5-10 minutes away from the South entrance gate, which the hotel will shuttle you to whenever you need. Overall the service and the owners are so so great and helpful with everything. The hotel overall and the rooms are so tastefully designed, high quality, 1000% clean and everything is tidied up (no messy piles anywhere - unlike in other boutique hotels in China). You can conveniently get dinner in the hotel, the seating area is beautiful, quiet, designed perfectly and the food was delicious. Breakfast is Chinese breakfast but they are so sweet and offer cereals and toast if you like, however, i brought some other options for my parents which they kindly kept in the fridge. They also took us to their own tea mountain to watch the sunset and Huangshan Mountain from afar - very special!!! Highly recommend that! The other hiking recommendations (besides than going up Huangshan) were a great addition. I recommend a three night stay, that’s just perfect. Everything is even nicer than on the pictures, a pleasant and unusual surprise!! You will not regret to choose this hotel, i stayed in other hotels in Huangshan before and this is the best option with regards to location (!!), design and service.

The entire experience was amazing, the front desk staff helped us arrange everything. The bartender can whip up a great cocktail! It was a nice and relaxing stay for my family!❤️❤️❤️

This should be the best hotel in the northern part of Wuhu. Because of the cooperation project with Chery Group, I often stay here recently. If I come here by myself, I may choose a cheaper hotel, but foreign colleagues have higher requirements for accommodation when they are on business trips, so they will arrange to stay in this hotel. It is true that you get what you pay for, and the service and facilities are in place. However, the price is not particularly expensive, and the cost performance is quite good, so colleagues on business trips are very satisfied. The breakfast is rich in variety and of good quality. The only small regret is that there are not many restaurants around, and if you want to eat, you need to cross the lake to the opposite business district. However, next time I come to Wuhu, I will probably choose here again.

My stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Wuhu was fantastic! The staff generously upgraded my accommodation to a lake view room, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Excellent service and a beautiful view—highly recommended!

The hotel amenities are impressive. Our room is big, nice and clean. Our room has a huge toilet and bath which is my favorite part of the room. We enjoyed our breakfast too at the hotel. There were so many choices. ☺️☺️☺️ The services provided were excellent. Kudos to Mr. Frank Zheng and Fanny Fan. They made sure that our stay is comfortable.

The check in was quick with good English speaking front desk. Rooms are stylish with very confortable bed and not smelly at all and the bathroom has all the necessary amenities. The gym is well equipped with multi power station, leg press, Shoulder press machine , pectoral flying machine and rear delt machine, biceps machine and dump bell station up to 20kg. Breakfast has western available options There is a nice shopping mall next to the hotel

The originally planned mountain-view king bed room didn't have the air conditioning I desired, so Sister Shiqi from the front desk kindly arranged a complimentary upgrade to an executive floor room after appealing to the leadership. The view was stunning, and the room's lighting and amenities exceeded my expectations. My stay was exceptionally comfortable, and I'm already looking forward to returning. I'm deeply grateful to Sister Shiqi for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and professionalism throughout the process.

Advantages: The service is okay, the breakfast is up to standard, the room space is relatively large, and the bathroom facilities are also good. Overall, the room at this price is okay. Disadvantages: There are only two bottles of mineral water in the room, which is definitely inconvenient in this weather. You need to call customer service to deliver it, which is a bit petty. The main thing that lowered the rating was that the room of this standard did not have a small refrigerator. It was obvious that a small refrigerator was reserved. I don't know why it was not equipped. It was very inconvenient and I hope it can be improved.

The room facilities are of four-star standard or above; safe and quiet; convenient for travel around, within 10 minutes by taxi from the high-speed rail station; there is also a company park within two kilometers, recommended for both business and tourism👍

I am very satisfied with my one-and-a-half-day trip to Wuhu 👍. The lobby of the hotel is very grand, the rooms are clean and tidy, and there is a large terrace. The breakfast is very good. The service staff in the restaurant this morning are very good. They immediately replaced the food tongs that fell. Clean and very service minded. It is recommended to book a room with a joint ticket in Jiuzi Ancient Town and Ocean Park, which is more cost-effective! All in all, five-star praise 👍

This store is next to the national road. The traffic is very convenient. The room environment is good. Nanling is worthy of NO 1. The buffet breakfast is rich. There are many varieties. There is still a lot of room to choose at 9 o'clock. I will choose this next time.
