The hotel is situated on the north bank of the Yellow River, offering stunning views. My room overlooked the Yellow River, Bailashan Park, and Zhongshan Bridge, providing an unobstructed panoramic vista. Whether it was the majestic mountains and river during the day or the dazzling lights at night, it felt like a living painting. Stepping downstairs, I could stroll along the Yellow River Scenic Route, experiencing the unique charm of Jincheng Lanzhou. The location is truly impeccable. The Hyatt Regency Lanzhou was more than just a place to stay; it became an integral part of my wonderful memories during this trip to Lanzhou. It perfectly blended breathtaking scenery, top-notch facilities, and warm hospitality. If I visit Lanzhou again, this will undoubtedly be my only choice. I've been to Gansu several times and stayed in nearly 20 different hotels, across various price points. This one is, without a doubt, the most satisfying experience I've had in the province. The lobby and guest room design are very modern for the area, with solid materials and excellent aesthetics. Every staff member I encountered, from the front desk to the restaurant to housekeeping, was attentive and very friendly. The front desk staff were efficient during check-in and even remembered a casual request I made. They also offered many daily necessities for guests, a small but thoughtful touch. The room was cleaned promptly and thoroughly. The bottled water was delicious, and the linens were excellent. I arrived for breakfast quite early the next day. There was a host at the entrance guiding guests, and after being seated, the cutlery was meticulously arranged. Every chef at the live cooking stations greeted us enthusiastically. Tableware was cleared promptly, and even though it was early, everyone looked energetic and cheerful, radiating positive energy to the guests. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich! From Chinese to Western, everything you could want was there, and the presentation was thoughtful. Most items were made-to-order and tasted great. Unlike many star-rated hotels nowadays that rely heavily on pre-made items, making it hard to discern the team's skill, this place was superb. Overall, many hotels are willing to spend money on materials, but it's rare to find one with such excellent management and service. I hope the hotel and its team continue to improve. I believe it's already undeniably the best in Zhangye, and I hope it strives to become the best in Hexi!

This hotel looked incredible! From top to bottom, it was clear that the designers took style seriously. The rooms gave off a sense of luxury that few other hotels in this process range have. The carpets, floors, doors, cabinets, beds etc. emitted a sense of tranquility, which made me feel very comfortable. Also, after travelling around China for nearly a month, I can say that this was by far the best breakfast I've had at roughly a dozen hotels. The staff were professional, everything was very clean, and the location could not have been better. My only issues: there was no air conditioning, and my room was very hot at night. Additionally, when the rooms next to you are watching television, you can hear everything in your room.

We had a very pleasant stay at Hilton Lanzhou City Centre. Many thanks to front office staff, Debbie who attended to us warmly and responsively. The hotel's location was good and the check-in was very fast. Our high-floor room was clean and comfortable, the best is, choice of pillows is granted. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrise view of the city from our window. A point to note, the room window can only be unlocked by staff for cooler air flow as the central heating system is in operation for the current winter season. We also loved the fragrant of the toiletries. Buffet breakfast spread was tasty and varied. We spent a relaxing time enjoying our breakfast slowly.

Real stay experience: Traveling to Dunhuang during the off-season is absolutely amazing! 👍🏻 The unique snow scenery was beautiful, but what was even more unforgettable was the hotel's front desk manager, Anna. From the moment I placed my order, I received a call from her reminding me of essential travel items, daily weather updates, and travel precautions. She patiently and meticulously planned our itinerary, saving us a lot of trouble. She also recommended some affordable and delicious local snacks. Anna was always patient and responsive throughout. The room arrangements were also excellent. I'm a light sleeper, and she specially arranged a very quiet room for me. The hotel bedding truly lived up to its name; it made my tired body feel incredibly relaxed after a long day. It was the most comfortable sleep I'd had on my entire trip. Of all the hotels I stayed at during this trip, the Four Points by Sheraton Dunhuang was the most heartwarming. [heart emoji] I truly experienced the comfort and relaxation of being at home. 😌 Her prompt and responsive service was truly commendable. Thumbs up for this professional service! [strong emoji]

The hotel is a bit out of the city center, a 20-minute drive from the West High-Speed ​​Railway Station. Aside from being close to the Yellow River Tower, there aren't many other attractions. My husband checked in alone, lugging two large suitcases, and there was no bellhop to assist him at the gate after we got off the train. The room was standard, business-style, with only one sink, which was a bit inconvenient. Dinner was in the executive lounge, where the menu was limited and every dish was spicy. The only meat dish was chicken wings, and there was no hot noodle station. Because my child had a slight fever, I asked if we could have a bowl of vegetable noodles. One of the waiters coldly said they only had simple fare, leaving me speechless. Later, a woman named Chen approached to check on the child and offered to cook a bowl of noodles from the buffet restaurant downstairs. This was truly commendable; they finally restored the service and standards expected of an international chain hotel. While we were dining, a hotel promotional video was being filmed nearby.

The room is spacious, comfortable and stylish, the breakfast has local characteristics, and parking is convenient. It is the best hotel in Jiuquan and the stay is very comfortable!

We stayed at the hotel in late 2025.3 Everything exceeded our expectations. When I book, it seems the location outside the city is a drawback of this hotel, which is compensated by a free pickup. But for a sightseeing trip in ZhangYe and with services the hotel has to offer, the location doesn't matter at all. Not to mention that the hotel's car+driver offer is quite competitive compared to what we have pre-booked. ###Room###: The room was spacious with comfortable beds and lots of amenities. WiFi speed is decent. There is also a public washing & drying machine, where the maid offered to wash our clothes. ###Restaurant###: The breakfast was plenty. The dinner offer a wide variety of local and standard dishes at an accpetable price. We got a free decent late night snack/dessert (with milk for children) delivered to the room at night. ###Staff###: The staff was very attentive. It started with the driver waiting at the train staion exit. Then we were greeted at the hotel by a staff with a good command of English. The staff has good knowledge of sightseeing spots in ZY. At dinner, the staffs made their best to help us understand the menu, patiently expained the food choices, as well as help estimate how much food we should order. (We are traveling with 2 children.) When we arrive back at the hotel in the evening, they enthusiasticly offered to help carry our stuffs. Tips are not expected nor accepted. If I have to comment, a moisturizing lotion and extra blankets in the room would help when the weather is cold. This hotel will definitely be my first choice if we ever come to Zhangye again.

The staffs are very helpful and delightful to serve. They upgraded our room and early checking in for us, plus gave us extra complementary breakfast due to early arrival. The air-conditioning was a bit warm but ok after late night/ over night. Currently no self laundry equipments on site, not a big deal since we were not in rush. Location is very convenient for all necessities,

The hotel covers a large area and has a beautiful waterscape and garden environment. The magnolia flowers bloom especially beautifully during the Qingming Festival! The hotel lobby and guest rooms are not in the same building. The guest rooms are composed of multiple 3-story independent buildings. There are many parking spaces and convenient parking. The restaurant is in the lobby, with a good environment and convenient dining. There is a separate water bath, and guests staying there have discounts on tickets. The overall environment, sanitation, safety and service of the hotel are very good, and it is very worth staying.
