Guest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location right next to Rong Lake, practically part of the city park. The stunning lake and mountain scenery are right before your eyes. The hotel itself is a classic Republican-era building, exuding a sense of history and cherished memories, like a quiet, wise elder full of stories. Our room even had a balcony, and sitting there sipping tea while gazing at Rong Lake below truly felt like escaping the hustle and bustle, bringing a sense of calm. The hotel also kindly provided coffee vouchers, which helped pass the time while waiting for our flight.

JiatengjialatasiluotongI only have three words: Exceeded expectations!
Because I rarely stay in B&Bs, I was quite concerned about the hygiene of this hotel. But it truly exceeded all my expectations. The cleanliness was impeccable, absolutely on par with high-end five-star hotels. All the toiletries were Acqua di Parma, and the citrus scent was delightful. The bedding was comfortable, with just the right firmness, and the duvet was perfectly weighted – very thoughtful details. The service was superb; from the moment I parked my car, staff members were there to help with luggage and even hold an umbrella. There were plenty of parking spaces, and branded EV chargers were available. Before heading out, the front desk would arrange electric scooter rentals, delivered right to the hotel entrance. The complimentary drinks at the front desk, complete with ice, were always available – truly, having stayed in hotels both domestically and internationally, the convenience and overall experience here are top-tier. There aren't many rooms, so service is prompt, and the soundproofing is excellent. The views were astonishing from the moment I walked in.
Every single detail was fantastic, making this one of the warmest hotel experiences I've ever had. It was so great, I'd genuinely love to extend my stay if I had the time. It's so good that if I ever bring my children and elderly parents, I will absolutely, without a doubt, choose this place again.
I hope they continue to thrive and their business prospers! I heard they're opening in Chongzuo, and I'll definitely visit if I get the chance.

Baitaoqipaoshui📍 **Great Location, Yet Peaceful**
The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from West Street, but surprisingly quiet. It was a really comfortable stay.
🏊♀️ **Five-Star Facilities**
The huge swimming pool and kids' play area kept my children entertained for hours—they didn't want to leave! A must-visit if you're traveling with little ones.
📸 **Picture-Perfect Spot**
The Sky Mirror on the 9th floor of Building A offers breathtaking views! A trip to Yangshuo isn't complete without snapping some beautiful photos here.
🍳 **Delicious Breakfast**
The restaurant served a rich and tasty breakfast that satisfied our whole family.
🛁 **Highly Recommend This Room Type**
We stayed in the 270-degree balcony room with a private plunge pool and a large bathtub. The room offered direct views of Yangshuo's mountains and rivers. Soaking in the pool, enjoying snacks, and admiring the scenery—it was truly luxurious!

cecily123After a careful selection process, I ended up with a truly disappointing hotel!
I arrived full of expectations, but upon checking in at the lobby, the whole place felt more like a guesthouse. The service team also lacked professionalism and didn't live up to the hotel's price tag.
After check-in, a staff member took my luggage to the room. The room lighting was dim and uncomfortable. The guest room was right by the road, and the soundproofing was terrible; I could clearly hear all the traffic. The bathroom size was decent, but the toilet wasn't smart, was difficult to flush, and splashed water! The TV was small, but you could cast to it. And believe it or not, the complimentary welcome fruit was rotten! There were no trash cans in the room, so I had to take all my trash to the bathroom.
Dinner was the most disheartening part! It was incredibly bad! Every single dish was unappetizing, with the only acceptable one being the stir-fried bok choy. The moment the first dish arrived, I knew it was going to be a disaster. The serving order was completely messed up; cold dishes weren't served first. Instead, they brought out a hot stir-fried beef dish, and I immediately knew it was over.
When ordering takeout, I was told it could only be delivered to the guardhouse, but I could contact guest services to have it brought to my room.
For a resort-style hotel, breakfast only runs until 10:00 AM, whereas most resorts serve breakfast until at least 11 AM or later. However, after that first dinner, we didn't even bother with breakfast, and we avoided every meal afterward, afraid of hitting another culinary low.

This hotel truly lives up to its five-star luxury reputation; the overall experience was exceptional!
The panoramic views from the high-floor, floor-to-ceiling windows are absolutely stunning. On a rainy day, with the glass covered in raindrops, the city's high-rises shrouded in mist create an incredibly atmospheric scene, perfect for photos. The room was clean and elegant, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the facilities high-end and complete. The soundproofing was also excellent.
I especially want to commend the breakfast buffet. The variety was incredible, with Chinese and Western dishes, desserts, fruits, and hot beverages all available. Everything tasted great, the ingredients were fresh, and there was so much to choose from, you couldn't possibly try it all. The thoughtful option to pack food to go was a really nice touch and very humane!
The service throughout was meticulous and attentive. Staff responded promptly and were gentle and thorough. Whether for a business trip or a leisure stay, this hotel is perfectly suited, offering incredible value for money. I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit to this city. Highly recommended!
**Welcome fruit on the first day:** They also offered complimentary drinks for the children.
**Late check-out until 4 PM (subject to availability):** The butler proactively asked if I needed a late check-out.
**Facilities:** Complete, even included a JBL speaker and a Laifen hairdryer.
**Hygiene:** Clean and tidy.

This beautiful hotel in Guilin with river views is still great after multiple stays. I highly recommend booking a river-view room; the direct riverfront scenery is perfect for a vacation ⛱️. My friends saw the videos I shared and said the guesthouse I chose was so beautiful! They want to bring their families here to stay too. The hotel's 6th-floor restaurant is also excellent; the dishes change every time I visit, and the food tastes wonderful! As long as I'm in Guilin, I'll definitely choose 'Poetry and the Distance' again!

EleniCI found this to be an exceptional hotel and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, helping me book local experiences at discounted rates exclusive to hotel guests and providing a range of complimentary activities, including afternoon tea, an evening sweet treat, a singing bowl session, and a craft-making workshop.
Breakfast was included, and I also enjoyed dinner at the hotel, which was excellent. As a vegan, it is not always easy to find good dining options in China, but the hotel was able to provide delicious vegan meals, which I greatly appreciated.
Communication was handled through WeChat, with regular updates and helpful reminders from the staff. Because everything was managed through the app, the language barrier was never an issue, even though most of the staff did not speak English.
I also enjoyed spending time in the outdoor swimming pool, and there was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. It was a wonderfully relaxing break, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Anonymous UserCame to Nanning to visit Mixc City and chose the Crowne Plaza. It was incredibly convenient for daily outings – the metro entrance leads directly to the hotel, and going downstairs for shopping and late-night snacks was a breeze. The room was on a high floor with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering a wide-open view; you could see the entire city's nightscape in the evening. The mattress was just the right firmness, and the toiletries felt high-quality, showing great attention to detail. Allen, the front desk attendant, provided excellent service; check-in was fast, and there's even a robot that delivers takeout to your room door. The hotel has its own pool and gym, perfect for relaxing in your free time. Overall, it's cozy and down-to-earth, suitable for both leisure travel and short business trips. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Nanning.

ying ~This hidden gem of a resort, nestled amidst the karst mountains of Chongzuo, truly lives up to its reputation as the perfect place to unwind and relax! The entire hotel occupies its own hilltop, offering complete privacy, peace, and quiet, far from the hustle and bustle of city life. The rooms feature massive floor-to-ceiling windows, and with a single push of a button on the electric curtains, you can enjoy panoramic views of the peaks, terraced fields, and mist right from your bed. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bathrooms spotless, and the decor is simple yet soothing. The infinity pool at the mountain top, backed by the surrounding peaks, offers breathtaking views, perfect for stunning photos. Breakfast is a semi-buffet with Vietnamese pho, and the resort boasts a full range of amenities including a mahjong room, billiards, and a children's play area. The butler service is attentive and thoughtful. It's an ideal spot for a relaxing slow-paced getaway, and I'll definitely be back!

HexiaojiaThis scathing review is directed at the bespectacled male 'deputy manager.' I've stayed here before and was always completely satisfied with both the location and service, so when I returned to Nanning six months later, I naturally chose this place again. But this time, it was absolutely infuriating. First, upon check-in, I politely asked if an upgrade was possible. The front desk said no, as the hotel was full due to the summer holiday, which I understood. So we proceeded to check into our triple room as booked. However, once in the room, I noticed the bathroom looked nothing like the online pictures (see picture, Photo 1 is the online photo, Photo 2 is the actual bathroom in the room – the hotel deleted the online photo after the incident). I called the front desk, and several people came up. After multiple room changes, it was still the same bathroom. Finally, this deputy manager arrived and admitted that the online pictures were incorrect, and the room I booked simply didn't have a bathroom like the one shown. Although it took a long time and a lot of back and forth, he eventually seemed sincere and offered a room upgrade and a fruit plate for the evening. I then requested breakfast, which he readily agreed to, saying we could just use our room card to get it. At this point, despite nearly an hour wasted, I felt the solution was acceptable.
Then came the crucial part. First, the fruit plate never appeared that evening. Okay, I didn't call to ask again, thinking they might be busy due to the holiday. We stayed for three nights. On the first day, the three of us successfully used our room cards to 'enjoy' the hotel's buffet breakfast. On the second day, we paid for dim sum ourselves, so we skipped the buffet. However, on the third day, when we went for the hotel buffet breakfast, we were stopped. They said their backend notes indicated that the deputy manager had only offered one breakfast! The restaurant staff even called the front desk to confirm, and they still emphasized that the deputy manager had explicitly said only one breakfast was complimentary, and the other two would have to pay. Seriously, is this how your hotel solves problems and treats its customers? Regardless of your leadership rank, you initially offered a sincere solution, which is why I overlooked the discrepancy between the physical room and the pictures. But then you renege on your promise and make a joke out of your guests, don't you? After calling Ctrip that morning and explaining what happened, they 'generously' offered me one more breakfast. Do you really think I'm desperate for your breakfast? I don't need your charity breakfast, and I don't want your cafeteria-style breakfast. I'm writing this complaint solely to complain about you, and it has nothing to do with Ctrip or any other staff members! Of course, a 'leader' from a large state-owned enterprise probably doesn't care anyway.
