Room: Stayed on the 27th floor in one of the executive rooms and it definitely was not executive. Luxury was definitely lacking as most of the interior in the bathroom/shower bath area was old and in need of help. The closet was so dusty inside too. However the room itself was nice enough with a big enough bed and a good view of the city. Complimentary fruit was there on arrival but compared to other executive rooms in hotels it missed the personal touch. The executive lounge on the 30th floor was fine enough with cakes, salad and some hot dishes alongside fruit and beverages. Would be nice if they offered wine though. Staff: staff here are wonderful. Very attentive and cheerful. Cleaners, waiters, reception and everything in between- all lovely people. Breakfast. The breakfast buffet is the highlight. Absolutely delicious and such a wide variety of to choose. Western and Chinese dishes are available with plenty of fruit and bakery items too. Fantastic. Location: Easy enough to reach plenty of attractions and snack street is very close by. Overall a pleasant stay.

Was able to cool the room down to acceptable level but not as low as we liked. Great breakfast buffet. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants. Very friendly staff.

After close to 8 hours of mid night flight, fatigue and hunger is best feeling when I first touched down,adding the cold weather really make the trip very miserable tire.To my delightful, mid leve hotel had provide me with all the needs in time..Friendly and helpful receptionist, warnth the day .The room is cosy and clean .The food is exclusive tasty.The stays had washed away all my tiredness and ready for an energized event and a better tomorrow !

Staff are very courteous and helpful, from front desk to cleaning personnel, and room services. You’ll receive instant response to address your need whenever you raise it. 4. Facility: It was put in operation in 2022 so everything is new and maintained well. It had indoor swimming pool, gym, billiard room (even one for snook), and ping pong room. It is purposed to host large conferences/events. Now the part that I think they can do better - 1. Smoking: It’s not smoking prohibited hotel, which is pretty common in China, especially not the first tier cities. But they don’t assign some rooms to be non-smoking. Instead, all rooms are smoking permitted and it is allowed in most public areas too. Though this might be OK for domestic visitors, it can be an unflavored factor to people from abroad. 2. Laundry: It doesn’t provide self-served laundry. There is laundry service but it costs dearly going by items.

The best experience of this trip, the hotel is in a good location, just next to the main street, and the path leading to the hotel is surrounded by high walls like Disney, cutting off the hustle and bustle outside. This hotel is simply MUST STAY in Guiyang. Staff over there are all super friendly and helpful. Especially duty manager Luke Lu welcomed us with fruits, cake and lovely hand written card. Thank you so much. Room has spectacular view and you can look over all Guiyang from bird eye view. I stayed on 51st floor suite room which allows full access to executive lounge on 53rd floor from 2 to 10pm. Its location is in the heart of city, so Jiaxiulu甲秀楼，shoppings and restaurants ste in walking distance. Even airport is just 15 minutes drive. My wife and I really loved to stay here in Kempinski Guiyang and its name is now reliable one to make booking next times of trouble without any hesitation. 한국어가 능숙한 매니져 Jeff Wang도 있습니다. 가급적이면 스위트룸에서 최고의 뷰와 라운지와 서비스를 느껴보시길 추천드립니다.

Absolutely amazing. I’ve spent most of my adult life traveling the world. Staying at all types of hotels. Mostly 5 star international hotels as I aged. This hotel by far exceeded my expectations. The staff and service are amazing. The VIP driver (didn’t get his name) amazing. Food recommendations amazing. Free laundry service. You guessed it, amazing. The rooms cleanliness and the hotels aethstetics well above par. Located walking distance to the waterfalls entrance, it is conveniently located. Not to mention a music and fountain light show across the street in the park with a beautiful view every night was an unexpected delight. So glad we found this gem. I usually don’t write reviews but this is well deserved and definitely is a 5 star stay!
