I absolutely love this hotel! I first discovered it ten years ago during my initial visit to Cangzhou, and ever since, whenever I pass through, I always choose to stay here. After all these years, the hotel is still so well-maintained, which really shows their high standards. The lobby is grand, bright, and features cultural elements, offering complimentary drinks and snacks to guests. The front desk staff are warm, professional, and patient, and the lobby manager is very friendly, proactively engaging with guests and introducing local attractions. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious, with windows for ventilation and humidifiers. The facilities are meticulously maintained, especially the bathroom and shower, which have grab bars for safety – a thoughtful touch. The toiletries are also high-quality. The breakfast is incredibly diverse and plentiful, with good quality. They deliver drinks, yogurt, and fruit to the room, and phone requests are handled promptly and efficiently. The parking lot is large enough, and the attendants are polite and courteous. The hotel's location is convenient, right off the Beijing-Taiwan Expressway, with beautiful surroundings and plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The attention to detail in their service truly reflects how much they value the customer experience. Highly recommended!
As always, this established five-star hotel is one of the best in Shijiazhuang. Since it wasn't too crowded during the May Day holiday, the prices didn't increase. When we checked in on May 3rd, there weren't many people. The front desk lady was very friendly and gave us three drink vouchers, which we used up that afternoon (see picture nine). We could get more the next day, so I just grabbed a coffee and a soda to go. I chose to stay at the Intercontinental in Shijiazhuang because reviews mentioned the breakfast was quite good, and it definitely was. We also tried some Banmian noodles, which were decent (that's the last picture). We were on a high floor, so the view from the window was quite open. Oh, and you can get free coffee and cookies next to the check-in counter. As for other facilities, as shown in the pictures, there were no complimentary welcome fruits, and all the drinks in the mini-fridge were chargeable, which is usually free in other hotels. We also went to the swimming pool these past few days. The pool isn't very big, but the water quality was good. On our last day, it was quite busy, probably with local kids taking swimming lessons. The pool water wasn't too cold, but some of the towels had holes, which goes to show the hotel has been around for a while. The hotel's cleanliness was good, and the bottled water provided was free, though there were also some chargeable bottled waters on the table. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Shijiazhuang.
The hotel is located right next to the Hebei Museum in Shijiazhuang, literally just downstairs, and the surrounding shopping malls are also very close, which is super convenient. Everything about the hotel is top-notch. It's a landmark building, quite tall, offering great views of Shijiazhuang's night lights. The room was clean and comfortable, and they even provided complimentary drinks. The only minor downsides were that during the Chinese New Year, there were a lot of guests, so breakfast service was a bit slow, and finding a seat was a challenge. Other than that, I couldn't find any faults. The room facilities were also very new. Overall, my stay was incredibly pleasant.

As foreign travellers, we ran into some difficulties purchasing attraction tickets and bus transfer due to lack of a local phone number. We met David at the concierge and asked if we could get some help to purchase. Without hesitation, he offered to purchase on our behalf and even followed up with the attraction to confirm the arrangement. Thanks to his help, we were able to visit the attraction smoothly the next day without any issues. He made us feel very welcome, and his help left us with a wonderful impression of Handan☺️ Thanks David!
The hotel facilities are comprehensive, the room layout is well-designed, and the lighting is bright. Both the cleanliness and environment are excellent, and the front desk staff are very welcoming. Overall, there are almost no weaknesses; the only area that needs improvement is the breakfast quality.

We stayed in the Premier Balcony Seaview King Room and the sea view was really beautiful. We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the fresh sea breeze. The weather was perfect, not too cold for mosquitoes and not too hot to feel sweaty. The room was very clean when we checked in.
However, there were occasional sudden whiffs of smoke coming through the vents even though it’s a non-smoking family hotel with signs everywhere. It affected the room quality a bit. We called hotel service and they offered to change our room, but we were too lazy to move so they quickly sent someone to set up an air purifier for us, which was really nice.
The breakfast was excellent with so many options from Western to Chinese cuisine. The only downside was the lack of meat choices; we only saw bacon, pork sausages and the meat in the wonton soup. The gym was great and had everything needed for a proper workout. 💪 The pool was packed with kids in the afternoon so we didn’t use it.
Overall a very comfortable stay with a fantastic sea view. Would recommend! 😊 #ShangriLaQinhuangdao #SeaviewStay
The hotel's decor is exquisitely designed and grand, with an elegant and comfortable ambiance. Attention to detail is evident everywhere, and the entire place is spotless and tidy, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and the employees are friendly, professional, and efficient. Check-in and check-out processes are smooth, and they're always ready to answer questions patiently and thoroughly, making guests feel incredibly welcomed and comfortable. Both the environment and service are impeccable, offering an excellent experience. It's a top-notch choice for accommodation when traveling, highly recommended!

The Intercontinental consistently upholds its high-star hotel standards, even in Chongli. From the warm welcome and helpful information provided by Kerry at the front desk during check-in, to the attentive staff who showed genuine care for guests during snowy and rainy weather, and the excellent facilities for swimming, fitness, and kids' entertainment, every aspect made our vacation truly comfortable.
The hotel's restaurant food was delicious. The only downside was that during the off-season, the à la carte Chinese restaurant wasn't open, leaving only the BBQ and Western buffet options. That was a minor disappointment this time.

The shower was clogged (completely, the water didn't drain), so I tried to use the bath, and there the showerhead didn't work, so we couldn't do the most basic thing of taking a shower in our room. We didn't try to change rooms because we found out after midnight and were too tired to deal with complaining and packing and moving to a different room. However, this is not acceptable. I would expect this thing in a cheap hostel, not in a fancy hotel.

This was my first time visiting Aranya, and the moment I stepped into the hotel, I knew I'd made the right choice. First off, the environment is very new and the design is super modern. Every single staff member, including the housekeeping team, was incredibly friendly to guests, which made me feel so comfortable.
The front desk staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were all very polite and helped answer all my questions.
They also offer a shuttle service within the hotel. You can contact the hotel for a ride anywhere in Aranya. I didn't think much of it until I saw people waiting at designated stops for the Aranya shuttle – that's when I truly appreciated how convenient the hotel's shuttle service is.
There's also a DECK Bistro & Bar in the lobby. The manager there had a very friendly and gentle demeanor; he's handsome and incredibly nice. The boss should definitely give him a raise!
Visiting Aranya is either a 'never' or a 'hundred times' experience. Next time, I'm definitely booking Noa again!

GGuest UserThis is our third year celebrating Chinese New Year at the Sheraton Guan. Overall, it's pretty good; the room and dining services are excellent. Just a heads-up for anyone visiting in winter: avoid rooms facing south. They get incredibly hot. The hotel's central AC only blows hot air, and with the direct sunlight, the room becomes unbearable for sleeping. To make matters worse, the windows only open a tiny crack – it was truly a struggle!
GGuest UserHad a very satisfying stay! The bed was huge and perfectly comfortable – not too soft, not too firm. I loved that there was a bathtub for soaking, and the toiletries and towels were all of great quality. The room attendant was super friendly and even brought yogurt and snacks upon check-in. Plus, they have a robot that delivers takeout right to your room! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Shi. Thumbs up! 👍
GGuest UserThe front desk staff were quite polite, and the room's decor felt pretty stylish. The breakfast selection was decent, and the taste was average. The surrounding scenery is quite nice, and it's pleasant to take a stroll outside. The parking lot isn't very large, so it can be tight during peak times, but access is very convenient.

GGuest UserCame here to ski during the Chinese New Year holiday, and Genting is an old favorite of mine. I have to give it a 100-star rating this time! I happened to catch the two windiest days of the ski season, but Genting's gondola, though a bit slower, kept running as usual. Genting's ski resort has the shortest queues, and most of its slopes are south-facing with great visibility. I managed to hit all the advanced runs twice over the two days, starting the new year with full energy and passion. It was fantastic! The hotel was prompt with water delivery, the hotpot wasn't expensive, and the front desk even gave us a late check-out since we had a child with us. All in all, it's the best hotel in Chongli, absolutely loved it!

GGuest UserThe hotel offers complimentary snacks, which are convenient to take when you're out and about. It's very close to tourist attractions, and a taxi to Nanchuan Old Street is only about 10 yuan. The front desk staff are warm and attentive. Nearby attractions include the museum, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, Nanchuan Old Street, and boat tours, all of which are great. There's also a snack street in the residential complex opposite the hotel. It's a really good hotel with excellent parking and great value for money.
The front office manager is truly available on call, even replying to WeChat messages at midnight. The next day, when Cangzhou's temperature dropped, they proactively contacted me to inform me about the cold weather and advised me to add more layers. This is truly personalized service. Thumbs up! GGuest UserThe room had a sea view with Shaun the Sheep decor, which my child absolutely loved. We could even watch the sea from the balcony. They provided a children's toilet, and kid-sized toiletries and slippers. The restaurant food was quite good, and there's a kids' play area. The hotel has its own lawn and a private beach. Both the lawn and the sea were very clean, and there were many water activities available. We came the weekend before May Day, and even the speedboat rides were already running.
SSinkershiyiFacilities: As an older hotel, the facilities are indeed quite dated. It's fine if you're looking for a nostalgic experience, but it falls short compared to modern smart hotels.
Hygiene: Overall, it was relatively clean, but it felt a bit old and worn as soon as I entered.
Environment: The location is quite good, just a short walk to the beach. Many rooms also offer direct sea views. The hotel lobby still has a grand feel.
Service: The staff are quite professional, and the service is decent. However, the hotel's amenities themselves aren't great. For example, the complimentary movie viewing is actually in a small, old room with a projector. The main issue is that the internet speed is terrible, making it practically unusable. I'm not sure what the point of this 'perk' is.
Transportation: It's fairly convenient, and there are a decent number of parking spaces, though it might be difficult to park during peak season.
Food: The breakfast experience was average, nothing memorable. The complimentary late-night snack was quite stingy. It can't even be compared to the late-night porridge at Atour.
Value for money: I'd only recommend staying here during the off-season if you want to be close to the beach; I wouldn't highly recommend it at other times.
