5-Star Hotels in Henan, China

First time to xinxiang and always got this recommendation. The stay was comfortable and the hotel is big and the staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast spread is very good and you need time to enjoy it properly.

Very comfortable, the room is super big! I will come again next time. Puyang Arcadia is my first choice for hotels in Puyang. The lady at the front desk is so gentle and beautiful, and the aunt who cleans the room is very enthusiastic. Good reviews!!!

The night view from the hotel window was absolutely stunning, definitely worth the room rate. However, the underground parking lot was a bit disappointing; it just didn't match the quality of the rest of the hotel. But then I checked, and apparently the hotel was built in 2006, so it's actually held up remarkably well. At least, even today, both the hotel facilities and the window view are still quite good.

Overall, it was a good experience. The room layout was well-designed, making it easy to store belongings, and the soundproofing was decent. Although there's a road and a shopping mall diagonally across, which can be noisy during the day with loudspeakers, it was very quiet at night. The breakfast was quite extensive, and the coffee was excellent. The hotel staff were all very friendly, helping with luggage and greeting guests with smiles. The front desk, in particular, proactively offered information about the local area. Bella Li, especially, was very attentive and helpful when assisting me with extending my stay. My only suggestion would be to add trash cans in the public areas on the first floor; their absence was a bit inconvenient.

We booked a king-size bed and a twin bed, and the front desk staff was very considerate to move us to the same floor. The front desk also provided hot mineral water when we checked in. The room was very large, and there was a disposable bathtub bag for bathing in the bathtub. They also gave us cucumbers for facial application, but they were a little short. It was a pity that there was no place to put the phone in the bath, and there were not enough toilet paper rolls, so there was only one in the whole room. It was very embarrassing. The breakfast was very rich, but it was not replenished in time. Especially the noodle stall, when I went there at 9 o'clock, the toppings were gone, and I thought I would replenish them later, but at 9:20, the bottom was gone, and they didn't replenish them. But overall, I have been to four or five cities recently, and this hotel is very cost-effective. The service is also top-notch.

When I took a taxi, the driver told me this was one of Kaifeng's only two five-star hotels, so my expectations were a bit high. **Amenities**: It has a gym, but no laundry room, which is a bit inconvenient. **Cleanliness**: Perhaps due to the decor, the vintage colors and dark tones make it look a bit old. **Environment**: It's located within a wetland park, offering a first-class environment. The hotel's decor is very distinctive. Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden and Wanshou Mountain are right outside, and the hotel also provides a shuttle service, which was a key reason we chose it. **Service**: The service doesn't quite live up to what you'd expect from a five-star hotel; there's room for improvement in service quality.

I had an early flight the next morning, so I just booked a hotel randomly, and it turned out to be a real gem! We arrived at the airport around 8 PM. I called the hotel, and within five minutes, the driver called back saying he'd be there shortly. As we were on an international flight with a ton of luggage, a double crib, and two kids, Master Xiao went above and beyond, helping us with all the bags, keeping an eye on the children, and then driving us back to the hotel and even helping us take our luggage upstairs. The next morning, we had to rush for our 6:30 AM flight, and Master Xiao was there again, helping us get all the luggage downstairs. He repeated the whole process, and you could really feel his incredible work ethic and strength 👍. The hotel also offered warm white fungus soup, helped us combine beds, and installed bed rails. I honestly think their service is on par with Haidilao! My only regret is that we arrived and left in the dark, so I didn't even get to see what the hotel looked like. 😂

This time in Zhengzhou, I chose the InterContinental next to David City, and my stay was very comfortable. Facilities: It's a relatively new hotel, so everything is pleasant and well-maintained. Cleanliness: The room was very clean. Service: The service was friendly and attentive. One day, we forgot to remove the 'Do Not Disturb' sign before heading out, and when we returned, we found a notice slipped under the door by housekeeping, informing us that the room hadn't been cleaned. This shows their strong commitment to guest privacy. Environment: The arrival hall is on the first floor. The lobby is on the seventh floor, and you need to switch elevators on the same floor to reach the guest rooms. Staying on the 19th floor offered a great view overlooking People's Park. The breakfast was extensive, and I even got to try local specialties like Henan Stewed Noodles.

A spontaneous trip turned into an unexpectedly peaceful stay. From the moment I arrived, I felt a warm welcome. The service was enthusiastic, I enjoyed a plentiful breakfast, explored the refreshing and pleasant backyard garden, and there's a super awesome pool! I'll definitely be back.
