Very comfortable and spacious room. All rooms have a great view of the river. Service in the lounge is excellent, gym and pool are of a very high standard.

We (3 couples) checked into this resort in the raining day of 25 March 2024. Thumbs up to the hotel's staff who had helped us to transfer our heavy baggage in a buggy to our chalets. The resort is beautiful with lots of plants and man-made landscapes akin to many classic Chinese gardens. In the evening, there were fanfares and shows held at various spots in the resort. The bedrooms were spacious with user friendly bathroom and toilet. Breakfast was rich with a variety of western and Chinese food. It is highly recommended for visitors coming to Wuyuan !

The hotel service attitude is very good. Manager Yang, the deputy manager of the front office, helped arrange the room. The service is very thoughtful. The guest room facilities are complete, making people feel very comfortable. The location is in the bustling area of ​​the city center, shopping, eating, and entertainment are very convenient. The pool staff were very helpful filling the pool with colder water when we stayed in the summer. It feels like a true holiday. I would choose this hotel again if in the area and in need of a staycation!

First impression entering the hotel; lack of the typical Hilton scent, and overall 5 star appearance. The lobby has several stands promoting things I can’t tell what is was in Chinese. This is typical in many Chinese hotels but it lacks the 5 star ambiance. Furthermore, near the lobby bar is a nice dessert cabinet filled with Pepsi and mineral water….why? and next to the entrance some ridiculous game boxes that makes no sense. The room was ok, good size and no issues, good cleaning. The pool was ok too but with a small and rather boring gym next door. The dinner buffet was good and for the price which included free flow of a SA mediocre red wine and beer nothing much to complaint about. The poorest part was breakfast and that was depressing, especially for someone expecting a bit of western and Hilton quality, bread selection poor. It’s ok to have a limited selection but at least make the limited selection good and fresh og the day, don’t serve 2 days old bread, that is unacceptable.

This is my second stay at the Primus and I believe there will be another in my near future. I love stay-cations as a way to unwind and rest from work. This particular trip was for my birthday and the staff was so kind to help us celebrate. From the decorations to the pool to the huge tub (I love baths!) and yummy breakfast. It was just the celebration I was looking for. So thankful they are just a Didi away! They even decorated my friend’s room too! The locker rooms have a steam room but it’s not constantly on. You have to ask them to turn it on and it takes awhile to heat up so, if you know you want to use it let the staff know well ahead of time. You can get massages but I have a regular place I love in the city that isn’t as pricey so I just go there. Sometimes breakfast is amazing and sometimes it’s ok…depends on what’s available I think. The best part! A miracle! I locked my passport and wallet in the room safe. Something I rarely do. Well, 3 days later I received a call from the front desk telling me they found my belongs in the room. I hadn’t even realized! Smh…I was so grateful. I ran over immediately and was given everything (after a few questions to make sure it was really me ). Nothing was missing! I’m still in shock and awe. Thanks again to the man at the front desk with excellent English and a kind demeanor who helped with my wallet. Really everyone was wonderful and it really makes a difference. I tell everyone to stay there and it’s because of the great service. Thanks Primus! I’m sure I’ll be back before work starts up again in February 2023. 新年快乐🎉🎆

The reservation was made at the Pullman and was upgraded to the Steigenberger Hotel. This is the third time I have stayed at the Steigenberger Hotel. To be honest, the hygiene of this hotel is worse than every time, it is visibly dirty. I like hotels like Huazhu Club more and more now, simple and modern. If five-star hotels don't improve, the number of guests may decrease, but they have a good reputation and some iconic things. This time, I chose Wuyuan Xinbang Hotel for my self-driving tour from Wangxian Valley to Wunuzhou. In fact, this hotel is only 10 minutes away from the high-speed rail station, and the butler drives us to the station personally; for example, the buggy guy at the Huangling cable car pick-up station, when we asked him if he was here to pick us up, he rolled his eyes and said, ”What if not?” The photographer who took the travel photos also cursed the whole time what was so fun about this place that so many people came here, and they were very tired of their job. For example, the dinner provided by the hotel, the ”Huiyun Set Meal for Two”, was okay in itself, but the restaurant made us wait for 45 minutes without serving a single dish. We watched helplessly as the head waiter asked the waiter to serve the dishes to a family of three who had been sitting next to us for a long time (all had the same set meal). The outrageous thing was that we only got to eat after three rounds of complaints. My personal suggestion is that you must go there for a good experience or you must go with a guy. Wunuzhou is a hot spot. You must go to see the fireworks and don't run around on the ground.
