Overall, I'm very satisfied with the room. It's on a high floor with a great view. The front desk staff, Clara, Stone, Peter, and Vivan, all provided excellent and professional service. The other departments also maintained a high standard. The hotel's location is superb, making it easy to get around. It has comprehensive facilities, with a shopping mall right downstairs and close proximity to various attractions. It offers excellent value for money.

A friend recommended this hotel, and honestly, I didn't have high expectations at first, so I just booked one night to try it out. But after checking in, it completely exceeded what I was expecting, and I immediately extended my stay for another three days in the same room! The oceanfront high-rise location offers unparalleled views. The room itself is simply decorated yet practical, and having a fridge and washing machine is super convenient for families or long-term business travelers. The lovely lady at the front desk helped me upgrade to a sea-view room, and the housekeeping staff were warm and professional. Excellent value for money!

I previously booked a guesthouse that wasn't cheap, but the environment turned out to be quite bad. So I decided to stick with a reliable brand hotel and chose InterContinental. The environment was bright and clean, and the staff were warm and attentive. A senior gentleman at the lobby handling luggage was particularly helpful, always ready to answer questions without hesitation. Also, Riley from customer service was enthusiastic and responsive. I'll definitely choose InterContinental again if I have the chance next time.

Our stay at Qinghe Peninsula was made absolutely perfect by the thoughtful and attentive service of our butler, Xiao Hui. I have to leave a glowing review! Upon check-in, Xiao Hui proactively helped us with our luggage and escorted us to our room. She meticulously explained how to use the private hot spring and other room facilities. She even kindly sent us the park's activity schedule, detailing the locations and opening hours of the indoor and outdoor hot springs, water park, sauna area, and buffet restaurant – newcomers wouldn't need to figure anything out on their own. Throughout our stay, any questions we had were quickly answered via WeChat by Xiao Hui. She promptly arranged for extra toiletries and replenished our drinking water when needed. Traveling with children, she thoughtfully provided complimentary children's toys and reminded us of the precautions for the kids' water play area, which was incredibly heartwarming. When I accidentally left a small item behind, she carefully retrieved it and contacted us to pick it up. Her attention to detail truly shined. Xiao Hui was always gentle, polite, and greeted us with a smile. Her service was thorough and meticulous, never perfunctory. The resort environment itself is comfortable, with a wide variety of hot spring pools that are clean and well-maintained. Coupled with the professional and caring service from our butler, our overall vacation experience was truly exceptional. As a highly-regarded hot spring resort in Shenbei, the facilities are top-notch, but the service truly stands out. On our next visit, we'll definitely request her again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway – it's well worth a special trip!

Returned to Le Méridien Shenyang, Heping, and once again, it was a truly comfortable and generous experience. The service was incredibly accommodating and efficient; they upgraded my room after a quick chat. The welcome fruit was delicious, and all the welcome amenities were perfectly arranged. Both the breakfast and the executive lounge standards were above average. The 23rd-floor lounge, in particular, was quiet with a comfortable view, and the afternoon tea and evening happy hour offered convenient food and drinks. It was a really pleasant spot to relax during my travels or business downtime. The room itself was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The location is also convenient for getting around and shopping. All my membership benefits were genuinely provided without any shortcuts or compromises, showing real sincerity towards high-tier members. This will definitely be my top choice when visiting Shenyang again; I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite Happy Beach Gate 4, and within walking distance of Discovery Kingdom. Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a sea-view room, which I really appreciated. However, I can't give a good rating for a few reasons: 1. As soon as we got to the room, I called the front desk for children's slippers and toothbrushes. After waiting half an hour with no delivery, I ended up getting them from a housekeeping staff member in the hallway. 2. In the afternoon, I called the front desk for disposable cups. Again, after waiting half an hour, they still hadn't arrived. I had to call again to follow up before they finally sent a robot to deliver them. We then left the room, and when we returned in the evening, we found two disposable cups sitting on the floor outside our door! Isn't putting paper cups on the floor unhygienic? 3. The hotel advertises free sand-digging tools. We stayed for two nights, and every time we went to get tools, they were either unavailable or broken! 4. Our room on the fifth floor wasn't particularly noisy, but as soon as you stepped out of the elevator, the hallway had an odd smell that I couldn't quite place. The bedding also felt damp, making for an uncomfortable stay. For a Trip.com 5-diamond hotel with such a prime location, this was truly disappointing. It seems you really do get what you pay for!

For families or those with kids, I highly recommend a sea-view room. My trip was quite spontaneous; I booked hotels last minute for all three nights. Honestly, the value for money here surpasses the Grand Hyatt, though it might not be as close to Xingyue Square. However, you can easily get around by taxi, or use the hotel shuttle to go down the hill. If the weather's nice, a leisurely stroll down is also enjoyable (you might even spot a deer along Binhai West Road – they're super cute! The complimentary apples from the hotel are a hit with them, even more so than carrots). Plus, the room views here are much better than the Grand Hyatt. Most Grand Hyatt rooms offer an angled sea view, whereas at Yi Fang Castle, the rooms generally face the sea directly, front and center. The service deserves five stars. The front desk staff were gentle and enthusiastic. When we had a minor issue with the toilet in our room, they were proactive in resolving it. They even followed up at check-out to ask about our experience and later called to apologize, concerned about affecting our stay. We only discovered the toilet lid was beeping around 11 PM. A technician came to look, but it seemed like it couldn't be fixed right away. We asked the front desk, and they immediately sent new room cards and upgraded our room. Though it was a small hiccup, we felt truly taken care of. Our whole family unanimously decided we'd stay here again on our next trip to Dalian. It's convenient whether you want to just relax or go out and explore. One small heads-up for those considering staying: the hotel has been open for a while now, so it has that classic, established luxury hotel style. If you prioritize modern facilities, you might want to consider other options. Hotels closer to Donggang tend to be newer. It really depends on individual needs. I'd recommend it to photography lovers, families with kids, and anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We didn't dine at the hotel, so I can't comment on the food. However, Dalian has many delicious dining options, and the city isn't too big, so you can easily find great food just by exploring.

Traveling to Shenyang with kids, I chose the Pleasant Goat themed family room at Swissôtel Shenyang, and the experience exceeded my expectations! The hotel is located in the core area of Qingnian Street, with convenient subway access. It's a short taxi ride to attractions like the Shenyang Imperial Palace and Marshal Zhang's Mansion, and also very convenient to get to the TV Tower Night Market. The location is very family-friendly. The Pleasant Goat sports-themed family room we stayed in was thoughtfully decorated and full of childlike fun. The room was equipped with a children's tent, a rocking horse, building blocks for a winner's podium, and plush toy pillows. The bedding was all custom-themed. Our child was absolutely thrilled upon entering the room and played non-stop. The room was spacious with a great city view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. It was clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. They even thoughtfully prepared child-specific amenities. Check-in was efficient, and the front desk associate, Ms. Yolanda, was friendly and responsive. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, with both Chinese and Western options, catering to different tastes for adults and children. The hotel also has a gym and a heated swimming pool, perfect for relaxing during your trip. With excellent facilities and abundant family-friendly details, I highly recommend this hotel for families visiting Shenyang. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

Although this is an older five-star hotel, my impression was that it would be lavish but with outdated facilities. However, this hotel has kept up with the times. The hairdryer was upgraded to a Laifen, which works wonderfully, and the toilet is a smart Panasonic model. There's a smart alarm clock by the bed with a night light, wireless charging, and a radio. In terms of service, they upgraded our room type and even helped us secure a reservation for the Hong Kong-style buffet when it was fully booked. When we left, they gave a doll to our child, which was a very thoughtful touch. Special thanks to Vivian for her attentive service. If I had to pick one downside, it would probably be that the hotel has too many rooms. It was fully booked during our entire stay, and we had to queue for breakfast every day. As three families traveling together, we couldn't sit together for breakfast even once.

Traveling to Dalian during peak season, I chose the Pullman and stayed for four nights. I was lucky enough to get a room upgrade to a junior suite, which was absolutely fantastic! After turning on the air conditioning for a bit, there was no strange odor in the room. It faced Labor Park, and the upward-leading stairs from the window were very pleasing to look at. The hotel's location is super convenient; there are several shopping malls right across the street. It's also easy to get to trendy Nanshan Road, and taking a taxi to Amber Bay or Xinghai is a breeze. The suite had one bedroom, one living room, and one bathroom. The bedding was comfortable, not too soft, and the bathroom had a separate shower and a large bathtub. Every time I came back from exploring, it felt like returning to a cozy home. Lying on the sofa in the living room, eating some fruit, watching TV, and browsing on my phone – it was just so relaxing. A truly excellent experience, highly recommended!
