I genuinely recommend this hotel! Kitty at check-in was incredibly warm and attentive. She was polite and gentle, thoroughly explaining all the hotel facilities and service procedures. She even gave us thoughtful tips for getting around and dining. Her professional yet personable service made us feel so welcome, truly like a home away from home. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, with excellent attention to detail in their service. Fantastic value for money, definitely five-star recommended!!!

We are very happy about our stay at Wanda Realm Hotel in Fushun. The service is exceptional. My daughter developed rushes right after arrival. The hotel manager Mr. Wei Huang drove us to see a specialized physician, which was very helpful and beyond the ordinary service scope. We couldn’t say enough about our appreciation. The hotel’s gym and swimming facilities are well maintained, as well as room size and amenities. Highly recommended this hotel. The room is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Mr Huang also helped me find my sun glasses that was dropped during the move to another room.

I stayed two nights in a row at the Shangri-La Dalian for this trip, and overall it was a great experience, with only two minor regrets. When I arrived and got out of the car, no concierge proactively offered to help with my luggage. During check-in, the front desk staff addressed me rather casually, calling me 'sis,' which lacked the appropriate professionalism for a five-star hotel. Aside from these two points, the room exceeded expectations. It didn't feel dated, was spacious and open, with plenty of natural light. All amenities were complete and well-maintained, making for a very comfortable stay for both leisure and business travelers. The hotel's location is convenient, making it easy to visit the beach and shopping areas. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. For families with children, there was ample space and plenty of toys, so it never felt cramped. Toiletries and drinking water were replenished promptly. Although breakfast was busy, the crowd was managed in an orderly fashion. Overall, the hardware conditions are highly recommendable. I hope the hotel can refine its front office service details and standardize service etiquette. I would still prioritize choosing this hotel for future visits to Dalian.

Huge shoutout to Sunny at the front desk! They were incredibly professional and really knew their stuff. The check-in process was super smooth and efficient, and they meticulously double-checked every detail, showing great attention to accuracy. Sunny proactively gave helpful reminders about breakfast times and parking information, and their warm and appropriate demeanor made a big difference. They were always quick to respond to any questions or requests. This kind of excellent, professional service significantly enhanced our overall stay.

This hotel is almost perfect! The room was impeccably clean, not a speck of dust anywhere. The location is great, with direct access to K11. A lady from the front desk provided excellent service – she was beautiful and kind, truly radiant. They even surprised my child with a little gift for their birthday, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was fantastic and offered views of the Grand Theater. The buffet lunch is also highly recommended. All in all, everything was just wonderful! 👍

Facilities: Exceeded expectations. I thought the price would be similar to Atour or Ji Hotel, but it's much better, five-star level. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Beautiful, even more photogenic than Aranya. Service: Very attentive service, especially Xiao Lü, who very kindly helped me with my luggage and carried it to the door. The breakfast was also plentiful, and the noodles were delicious.

I came to Dandong specifically for the BBQ, and it definitely lived up to the hype – it had a great, lively atmosphere. I chose the best hotel in Dandong for my stay, and it was conveniently located not far from the BBQ restaurants, just a minimum taxi fare away. The hotel's service, cleanliness, and facilities were all excellent. The absolute best part was not having to go downstairs to pick up food deliveries; the front desk arranged for a robot to bring them directly to my room – that was truly amazing!

This was my first time in Shenyang, and for an important anniversary, I chose the Conrad as our base for a three-day, two-night stay. Here’s an objective review based on my actual experience: **Location:** The hotel is very close to both Beizhan (North Station) and Shenyang Station, about a ten-minute taxi ride. If you take the subway, it’s just one transfer, and you can reach Exit A of Renmin Square Station on Line 2 (which is the entrance to MixC Hang Lung Plaza) in about 30 minutes. From the first floor of Hang Lung Plaza, there's a glass automatic door that connects directly to the hotel's first floor. Regarding Hang Lung Plaza, I won't comment on the shopping as I didn't explore it much. However, it’s very convenient to take the escalator down to the basement for a meal, grab some snacks at the supermarket/convenience store, play Taiko or Maimai at the arcade on the basement level, or sing karaoke at Mei KTV on the third floor accessible by a scenic elevator. This definitely adds to the convenience of staying at the Conrad. **Service:** * **Pre-Stay Service:** I didn't receive any pre-arrival calls or contact, which is usually standard for five-star hotels. It made me think, 'Hmm?' a little, but it wasn't a major issue. During check-in, the front desk informed me that our room was still being prepared but offered a complimentary upgrade to a smoking room so we wouldn't have to wait. I accepted the kind offer and was relieved that the smoke smell in the room wasn't very noticeable. * **During-Stay Service:** On the first night, I wanted to take a bath, but the bathtub took nearly two hours to fill, only reaching the depth shown in the photo. After half an hour, I thought it was just because the tub was large and filling slowly, but when it was still the same after more than an hour, I suspected the drain wasn't sealing properly. However, it was quite late, and I didn't want to bother the hotel staff with repairs at that hour, especially since we’d already received an upgrade. It felt like that 'don't ask for a bicycle when you've been given a watch' kind of awkwardness. So, the next morning, I called housekeeping to ask if someone could check it while we were out in the afternoon. When we returned the next evening, the first thing I did was fill the tub, and seeing the water successfully rise made me so happy! I could finally take a bath! I'm grateful to the staff for solving the problem on time. Later that night, we went to the executive lounge on the 83rd floor for the evening light meal. The food was excellent, and they were proactive in asking about our needs. Special thanks to Cloris, Luna, and Rachel for their warm service. **Facilities:** As mentioned above, the room was generally in good condition. There were a few areas that showed some wear or minor human-made stains, but nothing major. Honestly, you don't really use or even touch every single part of a suite; it's always just a few key areas. The bathtub issue might have been a 'historical problem' left by a previous guest, but at least I got it resolved. This does, however, suggest that there's room for improvement in terms of facility maintenance and even upgrades. **Dining:** The executive lounge's food has already been mentioned, so I won't repeat it. For breakfast, I went at 8 AM and 9 AM on the two different days. As expected, it was less crowded earlier. You swipe your room card, then an attendant guides you to an empty table and asks if you'd like coffee or tea. Overall, breakfast was quite good, offering most of the varieties you'd expect from a typical five-star hotel. **Final Thoughts:** One minor point of annoyance was the hotel's elevators. Many guests have mentioned the hassle of having to transfer elevators on the 88th floor to get from the hotel entrance to their room. Personally, I think the waiting time for the elevators is more frustrating than the transfer itself. From the 88th-floor lobby to the rooms on lower floors, there are four elevators. Without judging whether that's too many or too few, objectively speaking, every time I waited for an elevator from my room floor to the 88th floor, or from the 88th to my room, it always took over a minute. There was never a time when an elevator arrived within thirty or forty-five seconds of pressing the button. And often, when the elevator did arrive, it was empty. Perhaps it was because I stayed on a weekend and the hotel had an event? The above only represents my personal experience during this stay.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Fraser Place Dalian. Before our arrival, Flora Sun kindly contacted us in advance, and she was also incredibly warm, professional, and welcoming during check-in. Thanks to her thoughtful hospitality, we were upgraded to an amazing suite with a spacious living room, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms. This made our trip with friends much more comfortable and enjoyable. What impressed us the most was the exceptional service from the hotel staff. We accidentally entered the wrong delivery address when ordering food, but a staff member went out of their way to locate the delivery, retrieve it, and bring it directly to our room. We were genuinely touched by this level of care and attention. The room was exceptionally spacious, spotless, and very well maintained. The location was convenient, and the overall stay exceeded our expectations in every way. As a group of three friends traveling together, we were able to create wonderful memories and enjoy a much more relaxing stay than we had imagined. The kindness and professionalism of Flora Sun and the entire hotel team will remain one of the highlights of our trip. We would definitely choose Fraser Place Dalian again on our next visit to Dalian and would confidently recommend it to anyone planning to stay in the city. Thank you very much for your outstanding hospitality.

The environment is absolutely beautiful! My kids loved the castle, both inside and out. The exterior is stunning, and the interior is not only beautiful but also a lot of fun, especially the soft play area and the craft activities. The service was excellent, particularly Amanda who assisted me. The hotel's butler contacted me the day before check-in and thoughtfully helped me with all my concerns regarding check-in, the room, and luggage storage. It was truly considerate. The service was great; she tracked my flight the whole time and responded instantly to any questions I had, helping me resolve them. This experience was genuinely fantastic and very thoughtful. JJoshuaLThe (apart)hotel is located steps away from the seaside and 东方水城 with plenty of eateries (but definitely less than what you get if staying at 中山广场 for example - we purposely chose to be close to the seaside here). The staff from bellboy to front desk/ cleaning staff is also eager to please with smiles all around, definitely pleasant interactions. On the downside, there was a heavy smoke smell at the hallway leading to our unit, and upon confirmation with the staff working at the floor during the time, turns out that the person living next door is smoking 🥲 this smell did creep into our unit over time, which led me to request air purifier and open the windows to improve circulation. Also I need to turn *off* ventilation at the bathroom to prevent smoke smell. Luckily, the situation improved during our stay (so I decided against requesting to change units) since the occurrence of smoke smell became less (perhaps the resident checked out/ decided to smoke less?). Anyhow, this did damper our experience. Also to note a service suggestion due to the smell I immediately requested a purifier unit, didn’t realize that there’s already one sitting in the unit. I also requested detergent since washing machine is available in the unit, didn’t realize that it’s readily available inside the bathroom. While the receptionist happily agreed to my request when I called to request the items (upon checking into my room), they could have also just informed me where they are located to avoid the redundant request. Also, perhaps the detergent should be placed visibly/ closer to the washing unit instead of being together with toothbrush etc inside the drawer in the bathroom - just a suggestion. Breakfast offerings while great is also nothing to wow about (one of our main considerations for hotel selection is to look at breakfast pricing listed, which is 198 RMB in this case, which is on the higher end, so we were expecting some kind of a wow factor). Yes, the restaurant is located on the 67th floor offering nice view, but the spread is nothing to rave about - it’s your typical above average breakfast spread with additionally a little seafood selection. During our stay I did come across an offer to purchase breakfast for 108 RMB in one of the platforms, and I think the value is much closer to this rather than 198, so something worth calling out. So all in all, good hotel with great location/ views/ staff - calling out the smoking issue (more of a people problem rather than hotel’s, but I would wish/ expect that indoor smoking should be non existent for 5-star establishments, which isn’t the case here), and secondarily the breakfast value. The shower issue (lower pressure/ time to heat) from other reviews is also real, but not a big deal for us.

I stayed at the Dalian InterContinental years ago, and while the furniture and decor are showing a bit of age now, the service quality remains consistently excellent. GGuest UserFirst, let's talk about transportation. You can take a taxi or drive there. It's about a 40-minute taxi ride from the city center. If you drive, hotel guests get free parking, which you can arrange at the front desk. Next, the environment. The environment is lovely. The entire resort is well laid out, with lush greenery, and I even saw many white doves. From the main lobby, if you're heading to the Breeze Restaurant (where the breakfast buffet is served), there's a complimentary shuttle cart available (takes about 3-5 minutes). Of course, taking a stroll through the villa area is also a great option. Now, about the service. The service was excellent. The taxi drop-off point is at the main entrance of the hot spring area, and you'll need to walk (about 3 minutes) to the main lobby to check in. The check-in process was very fast; I checked in around 2 PM and could go straight to my room. Upon check-in, you're assigned a butler who will add you on WeChat and send useful information about the resort, such as Wi-Fi details, hot spring hours, and breakfast buffet times. The butler also helps escort you to your room and carries your luggage, and even gave me a voucher for a fish spa treatment at the hot springs (one voucher is good for two people, usually costing 30 per person). Finally, some other points. 1. The hotel has two accommodation areas. One is on the 5th floor of the hot spring building. The advantage here is that it's very close to the hot springs, and you don't need to go outside. If your window faces the villa area, you get a panoramic view of the villas, with great greenery and views, and the price is more affordable. The other area is the villa section, which is closer to the breakfast buffet and offers rooms with private hot spring pools. 2. The breakfast buffet at Breeze Restaurant is from 7 AM to 10:30 AM (no food replenished after 10 AM). The breakfast selection is very rich, with a variety of Chinese, Cantonese, and Western options, and the taste is also good. 3. Guests staying at the hotel receive two hot spring tickets per room, for two separate visits. The first visit can be used on the day of check-in until 12 AM. The second visit is if you check out before 10 AM the next day, you can use the tickets until 6 PM. The tickets are linked to the ID cards used for check-in, so anyone planning to go to the hot springs needs to register their ID at check-in. A 500 deposit is required at check-in. Any consumption in the hot spring area can be charged to this deposit, or paid separately. The deposit refund upon checkout was very quick. 4. I booked a room on the 5th floor of the hot spring building. The room provides plastic slippers for the hot spring (anti-slip); there are no other disposable slippers. The wet and dry areas are separate, and disposable toilet seat covers and toiletries are provided. Although it's in the hot spring building, I didn't find it noisy at all.

BBobi1109The hotel generally met my expectations, though it's clearly been open for a few years as the facilities are starting to show their age. The room wasn't particularly impressive; the ocean view room had a decent location but the balcony was small, and the room itself was long and narrow. The interior decor and amenities felt a bit budget-friendly. The location is excellent, and parking is convenient, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're not driving yourself, as the surrounding area doesn't offer much. The management didn't feel up to par with other hotels in the same class, especially considering Dalian generally has high hotel service standards; this one was just so-so. The staff seemed quite unmotivated, and some of the outdoor facilities in the park weren't being utilized. Overall, the value for money was just average.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserI've stayed at all the five-star hotels in Dalian – the Shangri-La, Grand Hyatt, Castle, Conrad, Hilton, and New World, from Donggang to Renmin Road and Xinghai. Years ago, I had a few meals and afternoon tea at the Kempinski, and my impression was quite good. This time, I was back in China for a business trip near the hotel. Even though the hotel had changed its name, I booked three nights and four days, drawn by fond memories and the convenience, as I had never actually stayed there before. The result was a huge disappointment! This is definitely a hotel I would never choose again. Let's start from arrival. Coming from the airport by taxi, I had one large suitcase and three carry-on bags. There were no staff at the entrance. Just as I was struggling, a male staff member saw the taxi and came out to help with my luggage. During check-in, the front desk staff said they had upgraded my room and very enthusiastically offered to take me to the room. In the process, they asked for my WeChat, saying it would be convenient for service. After I gave it to them, they just turned around and left, not escorting me to my room. This felt very insincere! They completely disregarded how tiring it is for a customer who has just traveled. So I dragged all my luggage by myself to the room, which turned out to be a corner room next to a dilapidated fire exit. Upon entering, my first impression was that the hotel's blackout curtains were fully closed, and the colors were very dark, making the whole room feel incredibly oppressive. I then requested a room change. Later, a young female staff member came to the room to bring a new key card, helped me view the new room, and assisted with moving my luggage. Her service was excellent! I'd like to thank that young lady. Now, about breakfast. I only went once out of three days and didn't bother going again. The food was unappetizing, and the hygiene was poor. Uncleaned dishes were left in plain sight after guests finished eating. Waiters constantly made screeching noises dragging chairs. Two waiters were chatting, and even after I signaled them, they didn't respond. And the attitude of the chefs making noodles at the Chinese food station – they were joking and laughing, and customers had to ask multiple times before getting a reply. The entire restaurant staff lacked a sense of service. I considered changing hotels in the middle of my stay, but I was too lazy to bother. I finally endured until checkout day. The front desk then asked for a good review, without asking about my real feelings at all. The entire check-in and stay experience was awful. I honestly can't give a positive review against my conscience.
