The convenience of being able to stroll through the historic city center or simply step outside to admire the beauty of Maximilianstrasse made my stay even more enjoyable. We arrived at 6 PM on the first day. We had two rooms, and two people were checking us in. The person checking in the double room told me it was actually a single room, and the single room was checked in for two people. I don't think that's right. That evening, we washed our clothes and put them on the rack, and the amount of dust we wiped off was like the first picture. The next morning, they didn't clear away our breakfast until after 3 PM, and didn't even clean up the items on the floor. This hotel doesn't even have its own parking lot, which made us search for ages. We asked later and found out they don't have one. They did help us bring our luggage upstairs. The front desk staff had a bad attitude.

Would visit again, location was nice there was shops and food options nearby but some of the street we had to cross were major roads. Everything about the room was amazing and staff was nice but only issue is the sink was kind of blocked. Granted we didn’t call for it to be fixed as we were only staying for two days and it was still sort of working

The hotel is good. The location is right by the train station. There's a great pool with all the amenities (towels, slippers, robes). The room was a bit small; we were with our 6-year-old child, and space was limited. There was one standard-sized double bed. It was clean, and the staff were friendly.

First time to stay in a 5 star hotel that doesn’t offer toiletries. You would think it’s Andaz and it’s supposed to be premium since we stayed with other Andaz before, but this one doesn’t have any toiletries like the basic suchnas lotion. I asked why and they said they are changing company. Still though they should have warned us during check in or at least have something in the room

A hotel of top class!!!! Excellent always friendly service. The room is best. Breakfast is very delicious and an excellent choice. The dinner is excellent in the Mediterranean restaurant. We celebrate our wedding day and look forward to next year.

We visited Hotel Bayerischer Hof for a Valentine's Day Getaway 14-15 Feb. My wife received a lovely long stem rose upon arrival, and we were double-upgraded to a fourth-floor suite with a Lakeview. The Front Desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The servers in the Cafe, Restaurant and Breakfast Room were prompt and efficient, the food was excellent and the Breakfast Buffet large and generous! I can recommend this Hotel for couples, Families, or Business Travellers. I have taught at a Hospitality School in Zurich for over 15 years, and am a professional business traveller with thousands of overnight stays and 10s of thousands of dining out experiences! 

I had a wonderful stay at Hyperion Garmisch. Inom at reception was exceptionally friendly during check-in and kindly showed me several room options so I could choose one with a better view. The mountain scenery from my room was stunning. A special thank you to Rania at the front desk for helping me arrange transportation to the airport when train services were disrupted. The Gästekarte was also a great benefit, providing free access to public transportation and regional services. A couple of small improvements would be providing slippers in the rooms and offering late-night snack options. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

Booked an executive king room with executive lounge access. It's a common issue with older European five-star hotels – the facilities are outdated. Even though I booked an executive room (they gave me a room on the 17th floor, which isn't an executive floor, so that's a bit odd), there was a sour smell as soon as I entered. This is my fifth hotel in Europe so far. While it's in the airport, it's clean and comfortable enough. Newer brands often offer more comfort than old five-star hotels. I guess I can't just rely on brand names when traveling in Europe anymore. The executive lounge was good with nice views, but I wasn't happy about the sour smell in the room.

The location of the hotel is good, within a ten-minute walk to the museum. The decoration of the hotel is a bit like an old-fashioned three- or four-star hotel. If you care, I don't recommend this hotel, it's too old.
