They didn't specify that we couldn't access the pool, even though we had booked specifically for that. The pool was under construction. We should have posted on the website that it wasn't available. The hotel staff didn't offer a discount or a suggestion after the pool was closed, but offered to come back the next day, and the next day it was still unavailable. Also, be prepared for a 20,000 dinar deposit – it's the first time I've encountered a hotel in Algeria requiring a deposit, and to get it back, you have to wait for staff to check your room before you depart. Pros: Huge and comfortable suite, good breakfast, adjacent shopping center. Cons: Lack of communication regarding services, staff need training for more proactivity and a smile. Food in the aquapark is very mediocre and overpriced, and it's open to non-hotel guests… not to mention the unpleasant smell and the endless, unbearable whistling from the lifeguards. For the price of the room, the aquapark should be included; it costs 4000 dinars for adults and 2000 for children, even if you are a hotel resident. Overall, a good hotel, but management and service need an overhaul to truly live up to a 5-star rating. I will not return due to the unyielding stance of a receptionist and the manager regarding the breakfast, as a matter of principle.
