Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but I wouldn’t quite consider it a five-star experience. The building itself is beautiful, and the bed and sauna were both very comfortable. I also want to mention Sarah from the sauna team — she was extremely kind and helpful, which made a great impression. That said, I was quite disappointed with the room’s cleanliness. When we checked in, we noticed stains on the pillow, sheets, and duvet. We asked for the pillow to be replaced, but it seemed to be overlooked the first time. Even more surprisingly, the bedding didn’t appear to be changed the next day — the same stained pillow and sheets were still there, which was disappointing. We also accidentally spilled a bit of coffee on the bedside table one morning, and when we came back later that day, the stain was still there, which made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. Lastly, a small detail — my surname, “Lin,” was misspelled as “Lim” twice. It’s a minor thing, but one I wouldn’t expect from a hotel of this rating. In summary, while the property and facilities are lovely, the cleanliness and attention to detail fell short of what I’d expect from a five-star hotel.

If you are looking for a tranquil escape where you can unwind in peace, you may want to look elsewhere. While the Hôtel & Spa RÉGENT Petite France boasts a stunning aesthetic and an unbeatable location in the heart of the historic district, the actual experience is far from serene. The building itself is immaculate—the cleanliness and amenities are top-tier, and you can’t fault the ”Instagrammable” views. However, the atmosphere is surprisingly high-energy and restless. It feels more like a bustling crossroads than a quiet sanctuary. The Service Gap The most jarring part of the stay is the service. For a hotel that presents itself as a luxury spa destination, the staff interaction is disappointingly cold and inefficient. • Lack of Hospitality: Don't expect a warm welcome or proactive assistance. The service feels transactional at best and dismissive at worst. Verdict If you just need a clean, beautiful room in a prime spot and don't mind navigating a service-less, high-traffic environment, this works. But if your goal is to be pampered in a quiet, stress-free bubble, the service hurdles here will likely leave you frustrated.

Location is great just at front of the Cathedral. Rooms with the view are very small and the price is elevated as there are practically no other competitive hotels.Next time in Reims I consider to rent an apartment.

room size is decent, location is around 800m from train station, a 10-15 min walk, great location as it's near a lot of cafes and restaurants if you are taking check-in luggages, you might have it harder when dragging the luggage wheel through stoney paths surrounding the hotel. closet has no bidet, as european standard, so if you need it, you might consider taking portable electric bidet, water flow is abit small but it's just personal preferences, other than that everything is good

I wanted to share my opinion of this hotel, we stayed 2 nights and it was good. Things that i wish the hotel probably can improve is the beds, unfortunately it’s not comfortable at all, the other hand is we still can hear the vehicles, bird chirping and people talking outside of our room even the windows are closed and it’s not comfortable at all in the evening to sleep. Excellent location, super convenient for both shopping and sightseeing. The decor is new, the room amenities are well-designed and easy to use, and they even provide Clarins toiletries. Breakfast is quite generous by European standards. I stayed on the top floor; the air conditioning was a bit noisy, and there was a faint kitchen smell in the mornings, but everything else was perfectly fine. The deposit was refunded very quickly. Overall, I definitely recommend it.

Best hotel we’ve ever been at. Absolutely beautiful, great staff, helped us with everything and brought us many gifts!
