It was incredible stay at Padma Semarang.
The Hotel is great.
The location perfect in some way.
The breakfast maybe one of the best, if not the best.
The service is perfect, the manpower is so kind and helpfull.
The bath amenities can't ask for better since it use Sensatia Botanica.
I recently had a delightful stay at Hotel Tentrem in Semarang, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, and their attentiveness truly enhanced our experience.
The cleanliness of the rooms and restrooms was impressive, which is always a top priority for me when traveling. The hotel amenities, including the gym, were excellent and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
One of the highlights for me was the delicious breakfast spread. The variety was fantastic, and the quality of the food was outstanding. I also want to give a special shoutout to Ibuk Elfi for her warm hospitality during breakfast. Her cheerful demeanor made our mornings even more enjoyable.
As a coffee lover, I was particularly impressed by the skills of Mas Arafi, the barista. I thoroughly enjoyed the cappuccino, mocaccino, and café latte he prepared; each cup was a treat. His knowledge of coffee truly shines through in every sip.
Overall, my experience at Hotel Tentrem was wonderful, and I look forward to returning each year. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special

Really breathtaking scenery, friendly and supportive staffs, tasty foods, and surrounded by natures...many good points they have. You can enjoy chill time there. Each room has bird's name in local language which is very cute.
As the place is quite far from the city and the road is very narrow and bumping, if you easily get car sick, it's better to take medicine for that before head to there.
During my recent stay at the hotel for a short getaway, I was genuinely impressed by the exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. The staff were incredibly friendly, always greeting guests with a smile and going out of their way to assist with any requests, making the experience feel warm and personal. The entire hotel was spotless and clearly well maintained, which added to the sense of comfort and relaxation. The lobby, in particular, left a lasting impression—it was spacious, grand, and tastefully decorated, creating a luxurious yet welcoming first impression. While the daily buffet meals became a little repetitive over time, I still appreciated the decent variety offered and the consistently good taste of the food. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay that I would gladly recommend to others.
The hotel has been open for many years and should have been renovated. It has an outdoor swimming pool and a large front garden. The interior decoration is also very beautiful. The rooms have balconies. The rooms at the edge will be blocked. It is a pity that the ordinary rooms in the hotel do not have bathtubs. The breakfast is good, the service is warm, and the check-out is delayed before leaving. We walked from the hotel to the Chicken Church on a small path, which may take 20 minutes. It is more convenient to call grab. There are no convenience stores around.
The hotel room is clean and spacious. What I like most about this hotel is the staffs welcoming hospitable attitude whenever they see me arrive at this hotel. The hotel is also strategically located nearby a shopping centre. Breakfast service was 7/10. Food was replenished very slowly.
The hotel's environment and design are first-class; I recommend the hotel's Borobudur visit and village cycling activities; breakfast is a la carte, with many choices and good taste; the service attitude is very good.
The main shortcoming is that the gym is too small and requires reservations.
Very nice resort with nice staffs. Restaurant food was tasty. Room size very good & amenities. Over my expectations, so I would have stayed 2 nights instead so that we can try the massage. Not much TV channels unless Netflix but I did not try. Location has to have own transport as it is away from town. Hope to go again. Just be aware of possible mosquitoes.

PProf. Roberto PerettiAny thing. From thej very first moment I stepped into the well appnted and furnished lobby with abundance of well displayed local antiques and traditional handicraft, to the moment I reached my corner-view junior suite on 9th floor with plenty of amenities and cares, batik patterned bathrobes included! The entre staff is responsve, naturally and honestly smiling, and with the right attitude of solving. Even though travelling as solo I was welcomned by people to have a chat with and this is absolutely outsanding. As to its position I would say great. A few blocks away from the local Kampung Wisata Batik Kauman and the Kraton, as well as the buses heading to Semarang. Solo Balipan station is 10 minutes away by taxi. The morning breakfast is the real prelude to joyful tastes from local dishes to international. Anything freshly cooked and replenished constantly by well trained staff from cooks to waiters. The best capuccino I have ever had it was there! Absolutely recommendable
AAk RahmanThis is a beautiful property with clean well appointed rooms. The gym has good equipment and the pool is great. The only thing that I was not happy with is the hotel changed their policy about using the sauna and steam rooms. I have been visiting this hotel every year and this is the first time I was denied entry because I booked a superior room instead of a deluxe room. I believe this is a bad policy.
__NR_Overall, one of the best hotels in Solo
Positive:
- within walking distance from the shopping mall
- clean room and bathroom
- refurbish/renovated room
Negative:
- service is a little slow
- a little far from Central Solo
GGuest UserBreakfast a la carte is very very nice, fresh fruit is also great
The room is made up twice, very friendly staffs
The location is amazing as you can see Borobudur from the Patio restaurant (where you will have breakfast)
Amenity is truly lacking: no gym of its own, instead need to go to its sister hotel : Plataran Heritage, the shared gym is a dusty small room with one treadmill, one workout dumbbell set
The spa also looks quiet old, we ended up going to another hotel for spa
