GGuest UserThe hotel is clean, and the front desk staff are very helpful. There’s a laundry machine on every floor, which makes it very convenient for guests. The only downside is that no hot bath. The location is excellent — Omicho Market is just steps away. Higashi Chaya Geisha District is within waking distance also.
Overall, this hotel is good staying at. But, I personally feel hotel rate is at higher price due missing hot bath amenities..

Wwuzhi0603The room was spacious and conveniently located right after turning right from the JR station's south exit. The lobby offered complimentary drinks and beverages daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The ambiance was also excellent, perfect for a vacation. My only minor complaint is that they didn't provide face cream or facial cleanser, which I've become accustomed to at Japanese hotels. I almost ran out of the ones I brought myself.

XXiaoruStayed two nights in Kanazawa. It's truly a bustling place. The architecture outside the train station resembles a museum, and the fountain with the changing date display is quite unique. The hotel is about two blocks from the train station, which is pretty close. For sightseeing, I'd recommend taking a taxi as walking can be a bit far, even though the city isn't huge. The hotel itself is quite modern, with a bit of a Versace vibe. However, since there's no hot spring bath, the room feels a bit small.

GGuest UserThe room was very clean and well-equipped with all the amenities. If we needed anything, we could just contact the front desk. All the facilities were top-notch.
The intern at the front desk helped us check in early, and when we left an item behind in the room, the hotel promptly mailed it back to us. Service was absolutely perfect!

RR ToroHakuchoro is a classic in Kanzawa, the decor is very tastefully done and the overall atmosphere has character. It’s onsen is natural spring water and though the bath are relatively modest, it never gets crowded. They provide free bus shuttles to and from the Kanazawa station and is a very helpful feature. Rooms are large and well appointed and everything in the fridge - water, tea, orange juice and beers are free and topped up everyday. The stained glass in the lobby area and in the rooms are nice touched included the very nice pottery ware used for breakfast! Breakfast buffet spread is both western and Japanese and they even now have sparkling wine and sake for breakfast!
Definitely has character!

GGuest UserSuperb location and hospitality. Spacious, clean, and quiet room. I attended the Kanazawa Marathon on the weekend, the hotel location is right across the street, and the hotel was so caring to open breakfast buffet at 6:30am so runners can have breakfast before race.
