Guest UserI am a US traveler on business. I have visited Kashoen before and based on my experiences it is the only hotel I will ever stay at in Hanamaki.
The hotel staff are the kindest, most caring, and passionate people I have met at a hotel. The amenities are fantastic, the hotel food is phenomenal, and my stay is always relaxing. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
There is a nice nature trail nearby with a river that is beautiful as well.
If you are in Hanamaki or are looking for somewhere to enjoy a peaceful weekend at, I suggest Kashoen.

Good premium hotel, high quality dinning.
It was a bit far from the gondola and you have to kind of climb the hill to get to the entrance, which was sort of annoying.
A place where you can upgrade to priority pass starts working too late to actually make it to the gondola in time for the fast track start time.
We had some other things we noticed but overall it was a very nice experience.
