This was a surprise trip for my husband's 50th birthday and we were travelling with my Son Esa aged 8. Once we got to our resort we were greeted and welcomed by Amine and the team. Amine was very welcoming and took us on a buggy around the resort to show us around and escort us to our room. Amine went out his way daily to stay in touch via WhatsApp and kept us updated about all the activities taking place daily. Our room was amazing and we had been upgraded to a beach pool villa:-). The bed was decorated and a welcome card/fruits were placed in our room. The boy's were so excited regarding the private pool. Our resort was amazing and had alot to offer. This resort in particular had a kids club hence why I chose this resort. Guest Relations were amazing and accommodating . Grace also from Guest Relations was very welcoming and came to see us. The restaurant /food was pretty good and had lots of choice. Esa being a child wanted his normal chips/burger or nuggets and was offered this separately which was great. All the restaurant staff was amazing especially Shafiq, Shauka and the team. They all went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and happy. Shafiq had his way of taking care of families and even bringing the yummy special desserts to our table. He would always accommodate us to the best table/view too. Shauka was the head operations manager for all the restaurants and I promise you he was always hands on and ready to serve you in whatever you wanted to eat. He would always go out his way for us especially for my son Esa. Even on the last morning we was leaving he made Esa his favourite waffles :-). Our last dinner was arranged privately by Mr Ejaz (Hotel manager) and Shauka so we can celebrate my husband's 50th. A beautiful table was set on the stilts restaurant with a cake and Shauka personally came to serve us with all the different foods we wanted to eat:-). Absolutely amazing he was. Esa really misses everyone especially Shauka. We had an amazing stay and experience at Villa Nautica. We have already said that we will surely be coming back again and recommending to our family/friends. Small comment regarding the ice cream served at meal times in the restaurant- it was not nice/very poor quality. It was like some powdered ice cream mixed.

From start to finish our experience at the Oblu Sangeli was incredible. It was our first time visiting the Maldives and it was everything we could have wished for and more. We stayed in the water villa and it did not disappoint. The room was beautiful and the access to the lagoon was amazing. It was great for snorkelling and had plenty of corals where we saw baby sharks, manta rays and lots of colourful fish! We embarked on the turtle snorkelling trip and saw many turtles which was wonderful! The buffet was great and we appreciated that they changed the dishes every day so you had a variety to choose from. A huge thanks to Chef Rahul who not only made excellent Indian food for us, but also became a good friend and was always so kind to us. Another big thanks to the waiter, Yathrib, who was so friendly and attentive to us and gave excellent service. This really made our experience even better. We also really enjoyed the fine dining experiences included in the Serenity plan. Both restaurants (just grill & just wok) served delicious food and a nice view of the sunset. A highlight for us was the pool as it was right next to the ocean and the view was incredible. We loved the slide leading into the ocean, that was a vey unique touch for the hotel and lots of fun at the pool party too and recommend you throw a pool party a couple times a week as it was great! We really enjoyed the live entertainment in the evenings and especially loved listening to Dee & Jay singing so beautifully! A highlight for us was definitely the excellent service from the staff. From the first day we could see that they were genuinely nice people and took pride in their job. A special shout out to the Sangs bar staff who were always kind and friendly to us. They made our experience better by just being genuinely nice people and their service was excellent! A big thanks to Pradeep and Lahiru who lead the team and always greeted us with a smile and made us feel at home. A huge thanks to Ibrahim and Madheeh who made us laugh everyday and gave brilliant service. You made our experience even better by just meeting you all. We will definitely return to the hotel in the future as it was the best holiday we've ever had! The Maldives is really paradise on earth! Don't think twice about booking to stay at this hotel because it's perfect!

The weather is too bad and the hotel water house is good. The sand house is generally very rusty and not delicate. The hotel environment is not recommended because there are too many boats nearby and you can see the city of Male without the feeling of a water island and the land is too close at night Looking around, the lighting of the building in the distance is very poor. If the hotel on the four islands of Madai is the worst environment

Booked an all inclusive stay Bungalow with swimming pool figuring was one of the best room according to Bonvoy customer service agent . The meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel were fine . Greeting at the hotel by staff in open air 90 degree weather with no fans made it unpleasant when hotel already made sure you prepaid for your stay ( will get back the booking later ) . Come to find out that room was not ready at arrival time , expected from the hotel when sending flight information ahead of time that room will be ready at arrival time after spending 24 hours on the road to get to the @Sheraton Resort in the Maldives Staff ; Hotel staff very accommodating , but they do what told by management, house keeping , mediocre cleaning ever saw at a hotel , dust on frames see photos . Staff cut corners in preparing the room . Bungalow room with swimming Pool : Don’t be fooled by pictures on the websites! bed nice and clean . rest of furniture outdated and not cleaned properly. The WC very small to point makes you feel claustrophobic 3’.4” x 3’.6” (tall person knees will hit the wall sitting on toilet). See photos . Night stands dirty , outdated, Finish material made it difficult to cleaned and be sanitized . Sofa in the room You don’t expect a brand new one however for the charges you expect the hotel to give you a clean no STAINS sofa.see photos. Wonder if management walk and inspect the rooms on the property .

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Only 25-30 mins journey by speedboat from the airport. Amazing first time in the Maldives. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Every day there are free activities you can do like sunset yoga, snorkeling etc. Everything about this hotel is perfect. The only thing is the prices for some extra activities like dolphins trip, snorkeling with sharks etc are quite expensive (around 150$ per person). Alcoholic drinks vary from 10-25$ per glass but their bars have happy hours. Dinner buffet is 90$ per person. We tried the room service food, was quite good. In general, I would recommend this hotel to everyone. You won’t regret staying here.

We had 4 nights 5 days stay at Kurumba Maldives. It was a very nice experience. The staff was good. The food was really very nice. Had good Indian food at Mahal . Specifically to mention “karuna” the girl at mahal was so sweet and cooperative. Breakfast was also very nice variety with few Indian options.Even the photo shoot at the resort was great fun. Very good ferry transfer service to & fro airport. To sum up a very nice n memorable experience at kurumba . Would really suggest.

After 11 years, I visited the Maldives again. It is really a paradise, and Patina's service is definitely the icing on the cake for this trip. Patina is a full-time butler-style service. After arriving, you don't have to wait for check-in in the lobby, you can go directly to the room, and then the butler has already arranged everything. Our essentialist is Naaish, a very good butler brother. Every day's dinner reservations and daily activity arrangements are all through the essentialist. They will work hard to solve any problems encountered. On the night of our arrival, we felt that the fence around the outdoor shower area was slightly gapped, and the privacy was not enough. After telling Naaish, workers were arranged to reinforce it early the next morning. If you want to participate in various activities in the hotel, Naaish will give you very pertinent suggestions. In the end, we went to the Dolphin Cruise and saw the dolphins and the sunset, a magnificent moment worth remembering for a lifetime. The other services of the hotel are also perfect. The steak I ate one night required a medium degree of doneness. It was a bit difficult to cut after it was served. I thought the steak knife was not very good, but the waiter didn't think so at all, so I got it from the back kitchen and remade it for me. I ordered a portion, and then the chef came out and explained that because the medium should not be difficult to cut, it must be their problem or the problem of the meat. This operation really made me a little dumbfounded. I ate at the Helio restaurant on the last night. It is very common to have a sudden change in the weather in the rainy season. After the appetizer and the main course, it suddenly rained heavily. The waiter helped us move into the indoor dining area. First of all, I would like to thank Ctrip for its services. It is true that the big brand is trustworthy. But this hotel is an unreliable hotel. If possible, go to another house. Near the airport, Paradise Island, Full Moon Island, or Bandos Island can be reached by speedboat. When I was picked up, I was asked to wait by the side. I waited for almost an hour and no one answered me. We have to wait to get on the boat. When I arrived, I disembarked with an African couple, because after waiting for the African couple to wait for an hour, then I went through the formalities for them first, and I waited next to me. Then when I was sending off the plane, I had a flight at 9 o'clock. He told me to go to the airport at 6 o'clock. I said that I would go to see the dolphins with your hotel group. They didn't care, saying that the boat would not wait for me. But this group of people will definitely not be on time, it will definitely exceed 6 o'clock. In fact, they and Dolphin Sightseeing are both in the same hotel. They didn’t even know when the Dolphin Sightseeing came back, and then they said no to me without thinking for a second. This island is the cheapest island fee, 85 US dollars, wifi is very poor, slow to death, you must first buy a data card in the Maldives. The waiter is not good, don't come, go to Sheraton Full Moon Island or Pantos Island, Bandos is about the same fee, 93 dollars, but the diving there is beautiful, the room price is about the same, but the service of others is good. It costs $43 per person to go back and forth to Bandos. You can only practice snorkeling here, there are many reefs, it's a small island, and it discriminates against the Chinese, and the service attitude is so bad. Everyone Chinese, don't come here. I regret coming. I should spend more money to stay in other hotels. The breakfast in the hotel is pretty good. The breakfast place is open-air and the photos are beautiful. There are many kinds of breakfast, too many to believe, I ate breakfast for two hours
