5-Star Hotels in Melaka State, Malaysia

Facilities and club lounge was nice. Cleanliness needed to be improved, understand it's holiday session and super busy. But some of the dust behind the chair and under the bed is not few days issue Shutter bus expectations going to outlet was great. But return from outlet to hotel was extremely long waited till give up. Waited more than 30m. Please drive yourself to outlet rather than depending on the shutter. Comparison of breakfast between public and club lounge was a shock huge difference. Even lounge was limited food but the presentation and taste feel diff. (* Coffee also)

I really loved staying here! The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. 👍🏻 I forgot to request room decorations for our anniversary in advance, but fortunately, the staff were kind enough to accommodate my request. They surprised us with simple decorations and a complimentary cake, which made our special day even happier and more memorable. 🥰🎂 A special shout-out to Ms Ima, Ms Izza, Ms Aisha & Ms Betty for your great service. 👏🏼👏🏼 Your kindness truly means a lot to us. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We also loved the view! We were lucky enough to enjoy views of the town, the sea, and the surrounding Klebang area. 🌊✨ Lastly, I really loved the breafast options & taste, it was variety and good quality of food 😍 I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay. ❤️

Everything you need for food, drinks, and entertainment is easily accessible. It's also not far from major attractions like the Dutch Square (Red House) and Jonker Street. 2. **Cleanliness and Amenities:** Although the interior decor feels a bit dated, the hotel maintains good cleanliness and is tidy. Both the rooms and the entire hotel are very spacious with comprehensive facilities, easily meeting the standards of a domestic four-star hotel or higher. It's also very quiet, ensuring a peaceful and restful night's sleep. 3. **Extensive Breakfast & Large Pool:** The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, though it might not entirely cater to Chinese tastes. The swimming pool is also quite large. 4. **Good Service:** The hotel staff provides good service and is friendly towards Chinese guests. **Overall:** Considering the price point of 300-500 yuan, this hotel offers excellent value for money. The stay experience was very good, and I personally recommend it.

This was my first time in Malacca, and it was also my birthday. I requested a room with a nice view if possible, and not only did I get a great view, but the room was also beautifully decorated for my birthday celebration, which really touched me! All the staff were incredibly kind, and the location was convenient, within walking distance to all the main tourist attractions. The breakfast buffet was also delicious. It was a truly enjoyable trip.

The front desk staff were very enthusiastic. The hotel is newly opened and is already one of the better options in the area. The hotel breakfast was average; while there were many options, the quality was just so-so. The Strait of Malacca is nice. You can also go to Jonker Street to try the 'monster instant noodles,' which are very unique!!!

The hotel is simple and clean. It looks newly refurbished with the paint still looking fresh. It is conveniently situated in the Portuguese Settlement area of Melaka and a short drive/grab away from Jonker street. Perfect for a short weekend trip. Side note: there is a home based Portuguese restaurant a few houses down that was really good.

Overall, I really liked this hotel with its strong Nanyang (Southeast Asian) charm. From the exterior to the room decor, everything felt great. It's within walking distance to attractions and close to the TBS bus station, just a fifteen-minute drive away. However, there were a few things I wasn't happy about: 1. I didn't realize beforehand that breakfast here is à la carte and only starts at 7:00 AM. It also takes a while for the food to be prepared. Since we had already booked our bus back to Kuala Lumpur for 9:00 AM, there was no time to eat. It was a shame, and we couldn't get a refund either. The staff kindly packed two boxes of bread for us, but for a breakfast costing several hundred for four people, it wasn't worth it. If you want to enjoy breakfast properly, definitely plan your time carefully. 2. We were three adults and one child, but we were required to book two rooms. Even though the rooms were spacious, we couldn't add an extra bed. 3. The soundproofing in the rooms was very poor. We could clearly hear our neighbors showering and flushing the toilet at night, and it was quite noisy. 4. We were charged 600 RMB for the two rooms upon check-in. I paid with a credit card, but upon check-out, I was told the refund would take 15 business days to be credited back to my account. That's quite annoying.

We had a pleasant one-night stay at Ames Hotel Melaka. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel environment was relaxing, and the facilities were good for a short family stay. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and we would consider staying here again when visiting Melaka.

The room was clean and tidy, and we even got some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies when we checked in – delicious! 😋 We could even catch a glimpse of the sea. 😄 Breakfast was quite varied, and the check-in process was smooth and quick. 👍🏻 Great value for money!

The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and I could see the sea as soon as I drew back the curtains. It was very convenient for getting around; just a few steps from the hotel, there were Sichuan restaurants, wonton noodle shops, Chaoshan hot pot, and coffee shops. It took about 7-8 minutes to get to Jonker Street by taxi, and the value for money was excellent. The breakfast was decent and generally met our needs.
