We stayed at Henann Alona Resort as a family. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The foods are good lots of selections, and the location is perfect, with the surrounding pools is amazing my kids love it, they have kids and adult pool and what i love in the pool its not crowded worth the money, and our premier  room is big and the view is the pool. Good for family and friends outing.

We had a fantastic 5-day, 4-night stay! The emotional value was off the charts. All the hotel staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. We even got a welcome drink and ice cream while relaxing by the pool. In the evenings at 6 PM, there was a ceremony with a performance, which was wonderful. There's a Western restaurant where the pizza is delicious. They have a buffet in the evenings; the food wasn't spectacular, but it was convenient, and the atmosphere was great with live music. One of the guys in the restaurant was particularly nice. The breakfast restaurant also serves Filipino food in the evenings, and honestly, every dish was surprisingly good, exceeding our expectations. Of course, the prices are much higher than local eateries. For island hopping, you can directly contact boat operators who will pick you up and drop you off right at the hotel beach. The tide comes in during the morning, perfect for swimming. Around 4 PM, the tide starts to recede, revealing a lot of seafood, including many sea urchins. However, for swimming, I'd still recommend walking over to BBC beach – it's a bit like Boracay where you can walk quite a distance into the sea and it's still only waist-deep. All in all, our little one almost cried at check-out because he really didn't want to leave!

Switched to this room and it was also really nice! 👍 The rooms are arranged in two rows of buildings. The ground floor has a long swimming pool and an infinity pool which are very unique, right next to the beach. 🏖️ The soundproofing issue in the room was smoothly resolved by switching rooms. The hotel front desk staff were friendly and enthusiastic, and the parking attendants at the entrance were very clear and efficient in arranging transport. I bought a durian and was forbidden from eating it at the hotel entrance, haha. The hotel's public areas and recreational facilities are spacious and modern, and the breakfast buffet is rich and varied. At night, the beach night market and street night market are very lively, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. It's a great place to stay on Panglao Island! 👍

Locals told me this is the most luxurious hotel in Cebu. The opulent lobby and the kind, attentive staff truly impressed me. The view from my room wasn't great as there was construction (probably another hotel) directly across, but the room was cleaned beautifully every day, making my stay very comfortable. I was also very happy to have a bathtub, as hotels with tubs are quite rare in Cebu. This meant the bathroom was quite spacious. Although you could see into the room from the outside, closing the curtains solved that completely. The amenities were excellent, including toothbrushes, razors, combs, and more! I was also pleased to find body lotion. I booked a plan with breakfast included, and I'm so glad I did! There was a wide variety of dishes, and the menu changed slightly every day, so I never got bored. While some dishes had a strong smell, the taste wasn't bad at all. There are pools on the 4th and 5th floors, and the views were absolutely stunning, so I highly recommend checking them out. The pool on the 4th floor is smaller, but the panoramic views are fantastic for taking photos. The gym was also available 24 hours. If I ever go to Cebu again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. It was so wonderful that I didn't want to go back to Japan...

The entire resort consists of 1-2 story buildings, giving it a real vacation vibe away from the bustling city. The staff were incredibly friendly throughout our stay. You do have to be patient with the slower service, like dishes being served, which is common in the Philippines, but then again, we were there to enjoy a 'slow-paced life.' If you want your room cleaned quickly, you'll need to call the front desk specifically, otherwise, it typically won't be done until after 3 PM.

This hotel's service is the kind that ruins your day. I was asked for my room number three times. The first two times were fine, and the inquiries were at least polite. But once, when my child was playing in the pool, a male attendant came over and very sternly asked for my room number. His look and expression made me feel like he thought I was some outsider trying to sneak into their pool! It was incredibly offensive! To top it off, our child cut their toe in the pool. When I mentioned it to them that evening, there wasn't even a single 'sorry.' I initially thought about sending an email to complain, but then decided it wasn't worth the hassle. I definitely don't recommend this hotel! The food was also bad; even the butter at breakfast was some unfamiliar local Filipino brand.

Best family hotel. All staffs from reception, to bell boys to the restaurants are all so welcoming and accommodating. They have this huge kidzone play place for kids and attendants are so caring , attentive and kind. We really enjoyed all the resorts facilities. My son & niece enjoyed the pool , beach and kidzone. U should join their Shangrila membership to get gift like snorkel set use, ice cream or the 2hr pass from kidzone which is really the best of the 3.

Nice big hotel. Excellent room excellent bed mattress and pillows very comfortable But I'm seriously NOT happy with the policy of check in time 3pm and check out is at 11am. I mean come on, I feel cheated of 2 hours. All other hotels check in is at 2pm and check out is at 12 noon If you don't have staff to turn around the rooms then it's your duty to hire and not throw the burden to your customers

The hotel is truly impressive, with breathtaking views that make every moment feel special. The private beach is a standout feature: peaceful, well-maintained, and perfect for snorkelling. Dining at the penthouse was a highlight, especially the pizza, which was exceptional. In fact, every restaurant in the hotel served delicious food, offering a consistently high standard across the board. What made the experience even better was the staff, who were warm, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout the stay.

JJeffrey0210We chose to stay here a day early after our Bohol vacation because we didn't want to wake up early for the ferry to Cebu Airport. It's about a 50-minute drive from the Cebu pier and 30 minutes from the airport, so the transportation is quite decent. The environment lives up to Sheraton's quality. The hotel seems relatively new, so the facilities are very well maintained, and the views are absolutely stunning. Our room type had two 1.3-meter double beds, perfect for two adults and two children, with one adult sharing a bed with one child. The bathroom is spacious and clearly partitioned, with a well-designed shower, toilet, bathtub, vanity, and storage. The bedroom lighting is excellent, and the night light is a definite plus – just enough light for adults to browse their phones after the kids are asleep without waking them up. Now, for a complaint about the food. We had the dinner buffet at 5cien, and it was, without a doubt, the worst buffet I've ever had. Not a single dish was to my taste. The selection wasn't extensive to begin with, and then the food itself was just bad. It really doesn't justify the price of approximately 235 RMB per person. I tried everything, and it was practically inedible and a waste of ingredients. In the end, I had no choice but to eat the steamed dishes, but even those felt a bit undercooked. Because of that evening's experience, my expectations for breakfast the next day were very low. I didn't dare to hope for anything good, just ate a little and quickly checked out. Breakfast was slightly better than dinner, but that's about all I can say.

NNastja DoNUSTAR Hotel is a must-stay in Cebu! It's a very stylish place. The hotel perfectly blends elegance with a modern vibe, ideal for those who value comfort. Here, you feel both at the heart of the action and in seclusion. The rooms are spacious and meticulously designed; I particularly loved the bathtub. And for food lovers, it's a true paradise—Mott 32 is beyond all praise. Definitely a top choice for Cebu!

AAnna Maria Stephanie OlssonWe recently stayed at Coco Grove Beach Resort and overall had a mixed experience. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming throughout our stay, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel taken care of. Their hospitality is definitely one of the highlights of the resort. However, there were several maintenance issues that affected our comfort. Many of the pathways around the property were heavily overgrown with plants, which made walking less pleasant and also attracted a lot of insects. The lack of proper trimming also blocked what could otherwise be beautiful sea views, which was quite disappointing given the location. On our first night, we unfortunately woke up to a gigantic spider in our room, which had to be removed by staff. This seemed to be due to poor sealing around the main and terrace doors. It made it difficult to fully relax during the rest of our stay, as we were constantly aware that insects could get in. The lady in the reception mentioned there was a barbecue buffet on the first day of our arrival. As we came to the restaurant, it was not a buffet but à la carte. Even the restaurant staff seemed annoyed as it seems we were not the first guests to question why “buffet” was mentioned. We also experienced repeated issues with the bathroom facilities. The toilet became clogged easily, regardless of whether we used paper or not, and the showerhead was heavily limescaled, resulting in very weak water pressure. In addition, there appeared to be mould above the air conditioning unit, which was concerning from a maintenance perspective. The toilet roll holder was broken, but not fixed, just “put into place again”, but still being broken. The holder for the towels was also broken and very crooked. All of these things needs to be fixed and maintained, and it gave us an impression that nothing will be fixed unless someone complains about it. There seems to be very little maintenance of the rooms. While the setting and potential of the resort are beautiful, these issues suggest that more attention to upkeep and preventative maintenance would greatly improve the guest experience.

YYokihuangyuanqiAn impeccable hotel in a quiet yet central location. It's a ten-minute walk to a lively restaurant street, and you can book island excursions right from the beach.
