Without a doubt, Ancient Garden Yangshuo has been the best hotel of our entire trip to China! Sophia made everything so easy for us with her impeccable attention and kindness. The place is stunning, a gorgeous garden, a lovely pool, amazing views, and a super relaxing atmosphere. Our room was huge, comfortable, and the food was delicious. We also loved that they provide bicycles to explore the area! The team was always attentive, giving us great recommendations and even making reservations for us. They made everything completely stress-free. 100% recommended!!!

The hotel is in a perfect location, close to all the main sights of the city! The staff were very friendly, kind, and helpful. We mentioned in our message that we were celebrating our honeymoon and asked for a clean and quiet room, and we were pleasantly surprised by how thoughtfully the staff responded. They gave us a beautiful, spotless room that was even decorated for the occasion, and also allowed us a late check-out. The breakfast was served on the ninth floor in a restaurant with a lovely view, and it was really good. Overall, it was a great choice, and we highly recommend this hotel!!!!!

The hotel staff is very polite and helpful, they also speak good English. As the hotel is about a kilometer out of town, they offer a free shuttle service. There are also a couple of bicycles that are free to use and in ok condition. We rented a scooter from the hotel for a day, which is more expensive than renting one by the road but it's super convenient and in very good condition, also comes with a charger. The pool is clean and served us well in very hot weather conditions. We only had breakfast once, which was fine but a little expensive for what it was. It's a western style breakfast though, for everyone who misses eggs and bacon, go for it. Overall, we were very happy with our stay!

The room was spotless and well-maintained, boasting a superb design. Even the hallways featured a very comfortable and aesthetic design. The location is excellent; Dongxi Lane and Duxiu Peak Scenic Area are right next door, and Zhengyang Pedestrian Street is just across the street. The Li River is also only a few hundred meters away, making it incredibly convenient.

Hotel staff allowed us to check in before 2pm as we arrived early. Cozy hotel with a nice view beside the river, one can see local people going about their daily lives along the river bank.. 2 horses can be seen in a nearby tiny island. Location of hotel quite close to 西街. most of Yangshuo's tourist spots are around 4mins away by car. Room is clean, tv has many nice channels, toilet was clean and well equipped. Just that bathing area is only one glass panel away from bed. Roof top bar offers afternoon tea with nice drinks, fruits, desserts.

This is a great hotel, and if I ever return to Yangshuo, this will be the place I will stay. Very clean, great location which is close to the downtown area, but not so close it's annoying. The service and attitude of the staff are excellent; they are all friendly and helpful. The pool area is absolutely beautiful. The included breakfast is ok, but there are times when there aren't enough seats for all of the guests. I wouldn't say the food is bad, but you won't take pictures of it to post online. Let's put it that way. The pool is only open from 16:00 to 21:00 in July and August. The gym is very basic and it's in the lobby, so not a lot of privacy to do any form of exercise. I didn't see anyone use it. Overall, it's an excellent hotel. Just leaving some friendly feedback to help them improve, but I'd definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk from the Sun and Moon Pagodas and 15 minutes from the Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area. This makes it incredibly convenient for guests to explore the city, shop, and sightsee. The hotel's interior is spotless, and upon arrival, we were even offered a refreshing sour plum soup to cool down. The rooms are well-appointed with complete amenities, and I particularly appreciated the separate design of the bedroom and bathroom, which felt both spacious and upscale. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and provided detailed information. During the off-peak season, when rooms are readily available, they even offer complimentary room upgrades. Overall, it was a fantastic accommodation experience.

What a lovely and well maintained boutique hotel. Super nice and helpful staff that made our stay so memorable. They reacted to our every little comment/request immediately trying to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! Definitely more than 5 stars service. We will definitely stay again and recommend it.

Where does one start? We were here for only 2 nights before we headed to Yangshao but would have liked to stay longer. The location is convenient, walking distance to the sun & moon and various restaurant/shops. The hotel is pristine. The rooms were excellent; clean, firm bed, fantastic shower, well equipped with the usual toiletries.... anything else was available from the reception. No need for the traditional kettle as there was an instant water dispenser for tea or other, varying the temperature as desired. It's very tech savvy, good for me but did need to explain to my elderly parents. There's a free laundry service, breakfast was just right with a diverse selection of offerings. The restaurant for dinner was good value with delicious offerings. Most of all, were the super helpful and friendly staff; from reception, breakfast service, dinner and housekeeping... they were faultless. I highly recommend.The hotel piccies are a true reflection of the rooms so not sharing but will post a picture of the Guilin famous beer fish dish, which was very yummy. ❤️
