4-Star Hotels in Hunan, China

I don’t really have much pictures, but the hotel was very clean, the air con and everything else was working perfectly fine. The best thing about this hotel was how kind and extremely helpful the staff were, held my luggage, came back to tell them I’ll take a little longer and eating nearby. They gave me a portable charger. And they planned a full itinerary to enable me to complete Grand Canyon Park, Tienmanshan, and the National Forest park in 2 days. Only thing to note, is that the rooms usually have 2 beds minimum so it’s perfect for groups.

The hotel's location is unbeatable. It's right across from the shuttle bus stop to the mountain gate and the cable car down the mountain. There's also a Cha Yan Yue Se (tea shop) right outside, and a Ba Wang Cha Ji (another tea shop) and McDonald's not far away. I drove here, and the hotel offers free parking, both above ground and underground. You just need to scan a QR code at the front desk when you leave. The staff are professional and enthusiastic. The front desk even offers free shared hiking poles and fans for guests to take, and there's complimentary lemonade and tea in the lobby. If you order takeout, a robot can deliver it to your room. There's also a self-service laundry room, which is incredibly convenient for travelers. The accommodations were fantastic; the front desk staff even upgraded my room for free. Hilton's brand truly lives up to its reputation, and there were many international guests. The breakfast offered both Chinese and Western options, with a rich variety, and the quality was excellent. A staff member even kindly reminded me to eat a good breakfast before heading up the mountain! It was a truly wonderful stay.

Very friendly staff. Location is right on the riverside, slightly away from the main bridge area. Good view. We had three queen bedroom which was very comfortable. Received one complimentary traditional dress for 2 hours which was a bonus. No breakfast at the property though. No in-room refrigerator if that matters.

This hotel is worth every cent, the rooms are clean and tidy with beautiful decor. It is nicely located close to the entrance of the town and provides an amazing view to the waterfalls. I would totally recommend a visit to this place; The best part was how helpful and attentive the staff is providing ease to schedule transport to and fro the station, notes about the town and helping carry all the luggage

Excellent, excellent! My parents were very happy with their stay. It's super close to the scenic area, only about 400 meters to the entrance. The owner even offers pick-up and drop-off service to the station. The room was spacious, and breakfast was a nice 'nine-grid' selection.

My friends and I spent a long time choosing a hotel, and we're so glad we picked this one! The room was clean, quiet, beautifully decorated, and didn't have any strange smells (I was worried it might be damp since it's by the river). The service was excellent, and it was super convenient to walk to all the attractions. Perfect for people like us who just want to chill out on the weekend (we can't stand not eating well or sleeping well!). My stay at the Shiye Gaokong Hotel during my trip to Changsha was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all expectations! 1. **Prime Location:** Nestled right in the heart of Wuyi Square, it's surrounded by shopping centers, with popular spots like Tea's Express and Wenheyou just a short stroll away. Subway access is incredibly convenient, saving so much time on transportation. 2. **Unbeatable High-Rise Views:** Our room was on the 70th floor, boasting huge, unobstructed floor-to-ceiling windows. By day, we enjoyed panoramic views of the Xiang River, and by night, the city lights sparkled below, creating an incredible ambiance. The private hot spring with its floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the city at night made for such a relaxing and delightful soak. 3. **Spotless and Pristine Environment:** The entire room was immaculately clean, not a speck of dust or any unpleasant odors. The mattress was perfectly comfortable – not too soft, not too firm – and there was a choice of pillows, ensuring a sound night's sleep even for light sleepers like me. The smart home features throughout and the high-quality toiletries showed great attention to detail. 4. **Service Beyond Expectation:** The one-on-one butler service was exceptional; they were always available and responded quickly. They handled everything from free laundry and luggage storage to receiving food deliveries, taking care of every little request efficiently and thoughtfully, without ever being intrusive. Can't wait to visit again!!!

Check-in was super fast thanks to Xiao Zhou at the front desk. Our concierge, Xiao Li, was incredibly helpful, explaining the map, booking discounted tickets, and even planning our itinerary. The room itself was spotless, clean, and tidy. Breakfast offered a great variety of both Chinese and Western options. The hotel's location is perfect, just a two-minute walk from the scenic area. Highly recommend staying here!

The hotel's location is excellent, especially since we were planning a day trip to Tianmen Mountain and it's right nearby. We drove there, but Tianmen Mountain's parking lots fill up fast and are often inaccessible, so we parked at the hotel. It was a quick 6 yuan taxi ride to the mountain. The front desk lady was super nice and pretty, and even upgraded our room. The room itself was clean and spacious, and the hot, strong shower was perfect for unwinding after a long day. Great value for money! I'll definitely book here again next time.

This guesthouse is located right by the Tuojiang River; you just cross the road and go down some steps to reach the riverside. The room is quite spacious, neat, and clean. The guesthouse also offers free Miao traditional clothing for guests to try on. There's free parking available, though it's not right next to the guesthouse. You can drive to the guesthouse entrance to drop off your luggage, then go park. The parking lot isn't far, about a 6-7 minute walk. The landlady was very welcoming and helped us with our bags. She readily provided extra bottles of water when we asked. For such a prime location along the Tuojiang River, the price is very reasonable, offering great value for money.
