4-Star Hotels in Hunan, China

The hotel's location is unbeatable. It's right across from the shuttle bus stop to the mountain gate and the cable car down the mountain. There's also a Cha Yan Yue Se (tea shop) right outside, and a Ba Wang Cha Ji (another tea shop) and McDonald's not far away. I drove here, and the hotel offers free parking, both above ground and underground. You just need to scan a QR code at the front desk when you leave. The staff are professional and enthusiastic. The front desk even offers free shared hiking poles and fans for guests to take, and there's complimentary lemonade and tea in the lobby. If you order takeout, a robot can deliver it to your room. There's also a self-service laundry room, which is incredibly convenient for travelers. The accommodations were fantastic; the front desk staff even upgraded my room for free. Hilton's brand truly lives up to its reputation, and there were many international guests. The breakfast offered both Chinese and Western options, with a rich variety, and the quality was excellent. A staff member even kindly reminded me to eat a good breakfast before heading up the mountain! It was a truly wonderful stay.

This hotel offers a perfect room for a family of three. The hygiene is excellent, and they provide disposable towels. The breakfast is also very delicate and thoughtfully prepared. The location is fantastic, right next to the Maglev station. When we checked out, the owner even drove us to the high-speed rail station, which was incredibly convenient. From the window, you can enjoy a quiet night view, as it's far from the noisy bar street. It's very peaceful. There are a few great restaurants if you walk towards the ancient town, though getting in and out of the ancient town itself is a bit of a walk.

Staff great and helpful come out as we arrived in taxi and made us feel welcome helping with cases. Location is great as right in centre but can still get dropped off at the door unlike some properties in the tow. Rooms are excellent value. The views off the balcony are stunning. They also have a family restaurant across the street which we went to and was lovely. They all looked after us. Would recommend hotel and the restaurant for your stay.

The scenery is incredibly beautiful, as you can see from the pictures, and the service was unbelievably good. My Furong Ancient Town trip was elevated from an 8 to a 10 just because of this wonderful night. It really reminds me of that youthful saying: 'Good wine, good food, and good company.'

The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to assist us with planning activities and handling bookings. They were consistently responsive to all our enquiries, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. The location was exactly as described—peacefully situated near the forest, offering a relaxing and natural setting. One area for improvement would be the availability of more vegetarian-friendly food options. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely book here again when revisiting the area.

What a wonderful hotel! The room was clean, beautiful and had all the amenities you would need. The bed is very comfortable and the shower was very nice. We used the laundry service which was very useful and very quick! The staff were very helpful and kind. The service provided by the front desk staff (Xiao Yu) was excellent, the room was very nice, and the overall experience was extremely satisfying. The room is located close to the city center, and the experience was excellent. Thank you very much! We will definitely come back to this hotel next time

The hotel was very close to the center and had an amazing view (river, bridge and even a show). The room was very spacious and comfortable. The receptionist was also very kind, he came to pick us up and carried our luggage to the hotel and called us a taxi (didi is not available in Fenghuang). The only downside is that something was leaking in the bathroom so the floors were wet (but that did not bother us) and some things weren't clean (the bedside lamp had so much dust and we found a hair on the mattress).

We stayed here for two nights and were quite satisfied with everything. We had two double beds, and the child slept in one bed by himself. On the first morning, the child had several noticeable bumps on his body. At first, we thought it was mosquitoes, but by the second morning, it had gotten worse. One bump would appear every now and then, and by tonight, the child had at least 20 bumps all over his body. But it's definitely not mosquitoes; we don't know if it's flea bites or bed bugs.

Excellent stay at Changsha Pujing Hotel. The hotel is just a 2–3 minute walk from the MRT station, although the path is not sheltered, so an umbrella is useful on rainy days. The room was spacious, clean, and great value for money. Service was outstanding throughout—from the front desk to housekeeping and breakfast staff. I especially appreciated the complimentary laundry service, where clothes were collected, washed, folded, and returned to the room. The hotel also provides free Tang-style costume rentals for photos inside the hotel, with photography services available. As a nice touch, I received a small perfume souvenir upon check-out. Highly recommended for families. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Changsha.

Love it! Went on low season and the staff (小李）upgraded the room for us. 270 degree view of the mountains. We arrived past dinner time and every one was very hospitable and they had the chef wait for us abit and had dinner cooked for us. Highly recommend the stir fry cucumber. Super shiok if u are Singaporean like me. Breakfast was local fare which was a good change from hotel food. Local but delicious 😋. Don't need to prebook any of your Zhangjiajie tickets. Just pre inform them and they will help you plan and book accordingly. Remember the day starts and ends early and both parks are a easy but it is still a hike/walk nonetheless. So if you want to visit more than 1 attraction a day, remember to sleep early and start ur day early. Overall, a FANTASTIC stay and of I come back, this is sure the place I wanna stay.
