The most praised and special thanks go to Ms. Wang Yongxiang, the front office manager of the hotel lobby. The best thing about it is the location- right outside the Changchun railway station. I arrived from Jilin City via high speed train. Took the south exit and the hotel is right there across street from the south exit. The breakfast is included and offers a great variety of choices, both Chinese and Western styles. I only stayed for one night and didn’t check out the gym and other amenities but overall it was well worth it.

We had a wonderful stay at the Yatai Hotel, the staff were amazing; extremely friendly, helpful and the service throughout our stay was of a high professional standard. We were close to great restaurants and tourist sights, we could walk to almost everywhere, and centrally located only a short 5-10min taxi ride to the Changchun Railway Station. This was our second stay in three days - both times because of the nearness to Changchun Railway Station - and again we enjoyed the excellent service (even if your phone runs out of battery, there’s a two day weather forecast on your desk together with water and snacks, s. photo), classic Chinese hard mattresses and pillows (good for our backs) and the history exhibits that remind guests of the fact this hotel was first opened in 1909 in this very building. This time, we did have time for their extensive breakfast buffet and it is indeed extensive: salad, various types of eggs, oats, fruit, cakes, Chinese dumplings, Chinese porridge (the local “hei mi” black rice is lovely), fried noodles, rice, steamed veggies and buns, toast, jam, various Chinese hot dishes, freshly made noodles, ….you get the idea. The only regret we had: they have a coffee machine - for instant coffee…. Lots of lovely teas, but only instant coffee, alas. You can’t beat their price, either: RMB 304 for a twin bedroom including two breakfasts and two vouchers for afternoon tea.

Luggage storage when leaving: Mavericks' service was very good and patient, and they even gave us water. The overall experience is very good. I will choose this hotel next time. The location is convenient, not far from the subway station, and there is a small forest across the road from the door🍺 where you can play in the snow.

The hotel is a bit distance from Changchun station, about 15 minutes walking distance but it's worth to stay at this place. There's actually buses from Changchun station but I didn't take it. The room and toilet in the room is clean. The water pressure is good to have a good shower! The staff in the hotel are friendly especially the 大姐who are serving the breakfast! You can always see the smiles on their face! The breakfast at the hotel is yummy too! Overall, this is a nice hotel to stay! You will never regret to stay here. Price is affordable and their service is good. Oh ya, not to forget! There's washing machine and dryer here in the hotel and it's free of charge! 😀

one of the BEST hotels I've stayed at. it was spotlessly clean and the room and bathroom were both so spacious. the staff were really nice and there is a good laundry service too. it's really easy to get to the train station by public transport (bus) and easy to get to other places in Changchun in general. there's also a lovely bakery in the hotel that does delicious buns and sweet breads - it was my breakfast every day :)

On the other hand, the mobile phone signal is not good in the hotel room, but it is fine outside the room, and the hotel's Wi-Fi can be used to access the Internet in the room. In addition, the transportation in the hotel is relatively inconvenient, and you have to charter a car to get in and out. Areas that can be improved: Water easily accumulates in the shower room after taking a shower, and water from the toilet sink top easily drips onto the floor. Finally, I would like to say that compared to the advantages of the hotel, the negative points are just minor things. I will stay here again next time I visit Changbai Mountain.

This guesthouse is an absolute delight! The host is so welcoming and generous and went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth and fantastic stay. We are Chinese speaking foreigners, but the host had downloaded translation apps just in case. The breakfast was lovely and he made every effort to make us at home, including by picking us up from the airport and helping us arrange our itinerary. The guesthouse is in a convenient location to the North Entrance of Changbaishan (a seven minute walk) but away from the touristy hustle and bustle. It is nestled by a serene stream and surrounded by a forest, which is perfect respite from big city China. The rooms are beautiful, clean, serene, and comfortable. 我们在长白山过的三天，过的很开心。 老板给我们也别热情的欢迎，也帮我们安排好我们的行程。 这个民宿很漂亮，很干净，特别方便。 在长白山北坡的附近。

The first visit to this hotel was full of warmth and overwhelming hospitality. I still can't forget how they welcomed us the moment we arrived at the hotel. Firstly, we were overwhelmed by the staff during our arrival. They all came out to greet us and help with our luggages and belongings all the way in to the hotel. Secondly, with the seamless check in to our rooms and fruit platter, every gesture was well thought by the hosts. Thirdly, they prepared a sumptuous dinner for us. Simple local delicacies yet tasted really good. The number of ginsengs in the appetiser surprised us! From the portion to the presentation of food, we can taste the difference and feel they put in their heart to make everything better. Lady boss was generous to treat us a bottle of local rice wine during our mealtime. Tasted really good and special! We like that drink!! Additionally, we were asked for timing to eat breakfast and they would prepare that before our specific timing. They even asked us for our preference and customise breakfast for us. Breakfast was served and tasted as good as dinner! Freshly prepared and done meticulously by the kitchen. Lastly, lady boss gave us an impromptu complimentary tea session after dinner. A unique and interesting experience indeed. Never seen and tried it before. It's a heating device with net on it, put the heating pot for stirring and cooking our own tea from scratch. Meanwhile, we have the finger snacks and nuts to roast on the heating rack (as shown in the pictures) while waiting for our tea. In between, they would guide us how to prepare the tea. It was a chill and relaxing session. We enjoyed chit chatting while roasting our tea in the cafe. It felt so warmth especially when it was snowing heavily outside. The vibes were superb! I had many enquiries and the lady at the counter helped me out a lot without hesitation. She tried all her means to help us. The lady at the hot spring was very friendly and provide good services too! The staff from the hot spring, restaurant, concierge, driver and even lady boss all were very attentive, friendly and nice at any point of time during our stay. Pretty impressive indeed. Giving all credits to every single staff. Amazing team! They gave us more than we could ever imagined from services to food to hospitality. Thank you for giving us an amazing and memorable stay! Overall it was a great and enjoyable stay at this hotel. Definitely recommend everyone to visit them and feel their positive energy. Certainly can't wait for our next visit to Chang Bai Shan again!!!

I'm afraid my experience wasn't the best. When arrived our room, the floor (carpet) was super dirty. We complained to reception and they sent a cleaning lady. She wasn't super happy to clean the floor but we waited patently. Once she finished we open the bed and saw some hairs. We called reception again. This time one of the hotel managers came to meet us. She apologized and decided to upgrade us to a nicer and bigger room for free. They still took over one hour to clean it to make sure it was in acceptable conditions. I'm not sure we were just unlucky or that is the normal standard in that hotel. In any case, the new room was good to stay and we were happy with their efforts. Breakfast is almost inexistent for foreigners and it finishes way too early: 8:30. Arriving twice at 8am, we could barely find food. Except for this location, is good (close to train station, close to hospital where you can do virus test, close to connection point to enter Changbaishan (North), close to some big green areas (pine forests) where you can have enjoyable walks in the morning or after dinner. As a conclusion, if I may give some constructive feedback to hotel manager: - please consistently and thoroughly clean your rooms when guests leave; - extended breakfast time to at least 9:30; - include more variety in the breakfast and make sure quantities are at decent level by 8:00.
