The hotel's location is excellent, with Macau Polytechnic University, Fisherman's Wharf, the Grand Prix Museum, the Macau Science Center, and the Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre all within walking distance. There are many great eateries nearby, giving the area a vibrant local feel. The room furnishings match the official photos. It's also not far from other hotels and attractions like the Ruins of St. Paul's.
I had a wonderful stay at Harbour View Hotel Macau. The location is perfect, offering stunning views of the harbor and easy access to nearby attractions. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made check-in seamless. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. I especially enjoyed the comfortable bed and the breathtaking sunrise views from the window. The hotel also provides good dining options and a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, Harbour View Hotel Macau offers excellent value for a memorable stay, whether for leisure or business. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Macau.
The hotel is located in Macau Peninsula's old town and is generally quite small. The room amenities are all there. I didn't dare to use the bathtub, but the bathroom came with a floor mat and a non-slip grab bar, which is something older Macanese hotels do better than both new and old hotels in mainland China. The hotel is relatively close to the Macao Polytechnic University and the Grand Prix Museum, about a ten-minute walk. It's also not far from the Ruins of St. Paul's, a walk of a little over ten minutes. Getting to Wynn Palace or Fisherman's Wharf is further and requires a taxi. This time, any journey over twenty minutes by foot, I took a taxi, but I didn't get to ride the **bus**. The hotel has a Cantonese restaurant, Jin Man Xuan, on the first floor, with prices similar to Cantonese restaurants in Shenzhen.
The Macau Tower and the double-decker sightseeing bus require advance booking, so I'll save those for next time when I bring the kids to Macau!
Next time, I'll definitely spend a bit more and stay on Taipa Island.
The hotel's location is excellent, surrounded by tea restaurants, Chinese restaurants, and supermarkets. The Grand Prix Museum is also nearby. The staff are warm and friendly. The room is very clean, and the bedding is comfortable. It's only a five-minute walk to catch a shuttle to Sands, which is incredibly convenient! Highly recommended.
The rooms are very spacious, and the price is quite reasonable, especially since it's the off-season now. I recommend traveling during off-peak times!
Facilities: Fully equipped
Cleanliness: Acceptable
Service: The hotel front desk staff speak very standard Mandarin.
Environment: Exceeded expectations
Absolutely loved this hotel! It's located in the old town, super close to Grand Lisboa, Wynn Palace, the Ruins of St. Paul's, and Monte Fort. Plus, the bus stop right outside is really convenient. I adored the room's decor, and they even provide portable shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion – so thoughtful! There are also plenty of great food options nearby.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the service; the room was clean. The twin beds in the twin room were very spacious, each measuring 1.4 meters wide, so it's basically possible for two people to sleep in one. Families with children should definitely book a twin room. Personally, I think this hotel's location is a huge advantage, as all the best food spots in Macau Peninsula are near the hotel! Cleanliness is good! Location is good! Service is good!
Hotel is old and tired, need renovation badly. However room is clean and tidy. Reception service was so-so and not welcoming. Check-in was good though, just the night time when approached another receptionist for my own room number but was given a cold and not welcoming reply. It was normal for guest to forget their own room numbers as they don’t stay permanently. However a simple way to verify was guest able to give his identity numbers and name. Or hotel can always accompany the guest to the room to verify. However this guy was so unpleasant and blunt in his replied. Will not stay again in this hotel.
The hotel's location is convenient for getting around.
**Cleanliness:** Spotless and tidy.
**Facilities:** Well-equipped and convenient. The rooftop terrace offers great views.
**Service:** Attentive and appropriate.
**Complimentary Minibar (once per stay):** Fully stocked with drinks and snacks. Next time, if I don't drink the complimentary red wine, I'll definitely take it with me!
**Complimentary Welcome Drink at 1928 Rooftop:** Two options available, suitable for children too. It's free and a thoughtful touch.
Overall, it's a fantastic hotel and my first choice whenever I visit Macau.
**Bonus tip:** About 200m to the right of the hotel, in an alley, there's a pleasant surprise recommended by Foot Shot Seat CC.
Location was the highlight of the hotel - near to a supermarket, about 10-min walk to a delicious halal restaurant (Indian Garden restaurant), about 15-min walk to Taipa village.
Amenities were okay enough but there was limited time (two hours) to use the iron & ironing board. The iron was not working properly so it took a long time to iron just one piece of headscarf.
Service wise - the front desk guy who accommodated us during check-in was quite good in English, so he answered our inquiries well enough. However when we were checking out, we wanted to leave our luggage and asked on how we can get a taxi to the high speed train station but the front desk lady only said “you ask there (pointing at where we should be leaving our luggage)” when we asked at the luggage counter the guy said “you ask there the reception”. So we just decided to look for our own taxi - we were lucky enough a taxi driver was kind enough to wait for us at the designated time.
Overall, it was an okay experience staying at the hotel.

MM451872****This was my first time visiting Macau, and I booked this hotel. Although the location is a bit out of the way and a bit far from the main casinos, the L'Occitane themed room was really nice. The entire lobby and room had a lovely fragrance, the room had complete amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. I'd give it an 8.5/10.
DDengdengxiaowangzhiThe environment here is great, with a stunning night view of Galaxy Macau right outside the window. The room was very clean and smoke-free. It's also very convenient to get here from the airport; you can take the Light Rail to Galaxy-Cotai Frontier Station, or take a taxi to Galaxy Macau and walk over. The front desk staff were all very helpful, and you can store your luggage there.

MM2hpycqt8****The hotel's facilities are excellent, and it offers great value for money. Overall, the service was good, and the room was beautiful with a lovely sea view. However, the cleanliness was subpar; there was visible dust on the room's fixtures, and the ironing board they brought me was also very dusty. The most outrageous part was the taxi driver at the hotel entrance in the morning; his attitude was extremely poor, completely at odds with Macau's advertised reputation for excellent tourism service!

1118269****Superb and incredibly luxurious! I heard it's a popular spot for photos. The lobby floor is adorned with golden bricks inlaid with diamonds. You can get some amazing shots right inside the hotel. The location is also fantastic, with Grand Lisboa, Wynn, and Ruins of St. Paul's all nearby. Plus, Yaohan is just downstairs, making dining very convenient.
AAnonymous UserThis was my third stay here, and the cleanliness is consistently excellent – they truly have two people dedicated to cleaning. It's very close to the beach and there's a lovely seaside promenade, perfect for walking. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. The best part is the sea-facing room. Plus, there's a pool and a bathtub.
ZZhoushanbentulaoyuminThe hotel facilities are a bit old, but overall the hygiene is quite good. Transportation is convenient, and there are many residential areas and plenty of food options nearby. The downside is the poor soundproofing; the hallway gets noisy in the morning, so light sleepers beware. Also, the front desk staff were cold and unfriendly during check-in. However, the bellhop was polite and enthusiastic. Breakfast was a bit limited, but it met basic needs. Overall, it's a mid-range value for money.
