4-Star Hotels in Macau, China

I chose this hotel for its convenient location for exploring the surrounding areas, and I really appreciated the spacious room and living space. However, the soundproofing was terrible; I was bothered by all sorts of noise every day, and even the pipes would randomly make noise. The toiletries felt really cheap. It's about a 1km walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's, and there's a bus stop right outside, which is quite convenient. Plus, the Café de Coral on the first floor offers delicious and affordable casual meals. If you enjoy dim sum, there's a great place diagonally opposite where you can have a fantastic meal for just over 100 [currency unit].

The hygiene was excellent, and the environment was decent. However, the front desk service was very mediocre. Once you've booked a room, you're expected to follow their rules with no flexibility whatsoever; in other words, they're quite rigid. The hotel's location is superb, right on Beijing Street, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The hotel facilities are pretty standard.

The best part was definitely the swimming pool: it's 25m long and about 1.5m deep. The water quality was good, and there were also three hot tubs for relaxation. In the changing rooms, they provided L'Occitane shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion. The bathtub in the room was quite large, and the magnifying mirror was a nice touch. The room decor was very European and had a 'girly' style. However, there were quite a few downsides: 1. The bed was too narrow; it was hard to turn over if you're not small. Both my friend and I experienced unbearable itching at night, which made it difficult to sleep. I'm not sure what was wrong with the duvet. 2. The standard twin room we checked into didn't have body lotion. 3. Some of the charging outlets were broken. 4. The bathroom door made a loud creaking noise when opening and closing, which would wake up the other person in the room. 5. The location is a bit out of the way, at the very end of Fisherman's Wharf, so you need a taxi to get to the city center. Overall, the value for money was still pretty good. It's worth noting that I stayed at three hotels over these three days, and the other two offered free room upgrades, whereas this hotel refused.

Extremely satisfied with our stay! This hotel instantly transports you back to the Republican era of China, with its charming vintage decor that really catches the eye. The best part is how convenient it is to everything – dining, entertainment, and shopping are all within easy reach. It's especially close to the Ruins of St. Paul's, so we mostly explored the area on foot. Getting to other places by bus was also very convenient. The only downside is the lack of a private parking lot; we had to get dropped off by taxi a bit further down and walk about 500 meters, but it wasn't a big deal. The breakfast was exquisite; though not a buffet, the service was excellent, and it wasn't chaotic. Our child also loved this hotel! The rooftop view is fantastic too. On our first night, we even had a choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy at the rooftop bar!

An excellent value-for-money hotel. After clearing customs at Hengqin Port, we took a short car ride to the Galaxy area. From there, it was just a few hundred meters' walk across the road to reach the hotel. The Light Rail station is conveniently located right at Galaxy's entrance, making it super easy to get around. The hotel itself is simple but impeccably clean. They even thoughtfully provide power outlets compatible with mainland China plugs, so you won't need to worry if you forget your adapter.

The hotel boasts an excellent location and is very quiet on a high floor, offering great value for money. The service was attentive. Right outside, there are plenty of options for quick bites and local snacks. Getting a taxi to the ferry terminal is quick and convenient. For those traveling from Macau to West Kowloon (High-Speed Rail Station) or Harbour City, taking a ferry to the appropriate passenger terminal is the most convenient option. However, if you arrive at the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal, it's best to go to Sheung Wan MTR station to connect to the subway. Do be prepared for a fair bit of walking in Hong Kong!

The room and hotel is above expectations. Reviews wrote that hotel was dated which is probably true but the decor and cleanliness is impeccable. It was very comfortable and welcoming. The room is of decent sized the best thing is that the curtains were black out. We could sleep till noon very peacefully. Being very sensitive to lights and noise, this room is one which I would return to once again. The pool and gym was closed tho but I usually have no use for them. The location is a little off from the main casino. I did try walking back in the cool weather of 18degree it takes 25-30mins. Taxi less than 10mins and cost about 40hkd, provided the driver don't bring U round the island which is extremely common for the taxi in Macau!! They love to accidently take the longer route even bring U to the next island and claim the hotel is there cos of similar names so the advice is to have Google maps navigation to ensure the driver moves along the route !!!! Got mcd and some eateries below the hotel. Service staffs are very friendly and accomodating! Shower hot and powerful enough Free shuttle bus to airport casinos zhuhai port at designated times Room can see mountains and some river views not that it matters to me cos I don't stand there and look for even a minute 😁

The room is very spacious and comfortable, clean and hygienic. The bathroom's wet and dry separation is very convenient. Families with children might want to consider some of the themed rooms. Downstairs there's a shopping mall with a tea restaurant and convenience store, making it very easy to grab food or other items and bring them back to the room. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and the East Asian Games Dome light rail station is also within walking distance. Highly recommended! 👍

The rooms are pretty standard, but the hotel's strong points are its excellent location and affordable price. It's just across the road from the airport terminal, and getting around to other places by public transport is also very convenient. I'll definitely choose to stay here again when I visit Macau in the future. Macau has so many interesting, delicious, and fun places to explore, and some great exhibitions too.

Our room was being upgraded to a suite, thanks a lot! It was spacious and felt very nice. Though this hotel has no casino and shuttle bus, it is well worth the money. Near to the Oceanus where we can fully utilize their buses. Near to the outer passenger port where buses of almost all casinos come here and one can easily hop on to those buses. Near to the Sands too. A very pleasure experience staying here. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby too.
