Jjinyude2000The hotel's location is super convenient, close to both the subway and bus stops, and within walking distance to Anshun Bridge and the bar street. The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor, with guest rooms on the 13th-14th floors. The restaurant, front desk, and observation deck are all very well-designed. Breakfast offers a good variety and is nutritious enough. The hotel even thoughtfully provided complimentary fruit and traditional Chinese medicine foot soaks, which was a nice touch, and the shower pressure was excellent. The staff were very enthusiastic and attentive. Thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

JJinshuiWe stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities. 1. Breakfast The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit. Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining. 2. Gym & Pool This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. 3. Laundry There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room. Package Perks We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use. Room & Noise We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning. We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise. 4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”) We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup. It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light. Smoking Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke. Location & Surroundings The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy. Overall For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

LLaoxie~This time, our family stayed at the Vienna International Hotel, and the front desk service was truly excellent. They called us in advance before we arrived, informing us about the hotel's location and offering helpful tips, so we didn't have to worry about finding it. They also upgraded our room beforehand because we were traveling with a child, and the upgraded room was much more spacious. The hotel has its own restaurant, and the breakfast was abundant with a good variety of options, making for a great experience. In the mornings, they even provide a shuttle service to the scenic spots, which was incredibly convenient. If we ever get the chance to visit Jiuzhaigou again, we'll definitely choose this hotel.

GGuest UserWe had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, cosy, and surprisingly spacious, offering excellent value for money. The staff were friendly, helpful, and highly responsive via WeChat, which made communication very convenient throughout our stay. Special thanks to Xiao Liu and Xiao Zhao! There are a couple of areas for improvement. The hotel is not actually within the Kuanzhai Alley area as we had expected, and there is not much to explore within the immediate surroundings. In addition, the soundproofing could be better, as some noise from outside and neighboring rooms could occasionally be heard. That said, the cleanliness, comfort, and generous room size more than made up for these minor drawbacks. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would gladly consider staying here again.

GGuest UserFound a hidden gem! The staff were incredibly welcoming throughout my stay, but never intrusive. The room was surprisingly spotless, and the mattress was so soft and comfortable – I slept like a baby. The soundproofing was excellent, completely eliminating any noise, and all the facilities were top-notch. It's easy to find, and super convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment. Amazing value for money, I'll definitely be booking here again for my next trip!

GGuest UserMy stay at Mercure Chengdu Chunxi was absolutely fantastic! The concierge service was incredibly thoughtful and polite; they helped with my luggage and gave great recommendations for local attractions. It was such a nice touch. The ice cream at the lobby bar was deliciously creamy, and the afternoon tea was both elegant and tasty – perfect for a relaxing break after a long day of sightseeing. The 30th-floor restaurant offers an amazing breakfast spread with a huge variety of choices. The Sichuan-style dandan noodles and Zhong dumplings tasted authentic, and there were plenty of Western dishes, cereals, and desserts too. Dining with that high-altitude view was a wonderful experience. The laundry room attendant was also incredibly warm and helpful; she patiently showed me how to use the equipment and even folded my clothes before returning them, which was so kind. The overall environment is elegant and clean, and the service truly shines in the details. Plus, its location near Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road makes it super convenient for getting around and shopping. My stay was thoroughly comfortable and enjoyable – I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserThis hotel is super close to popular spots like Kuanzhai Alley and Kuixing Street. There are tons of great food options and shops nearby, which I loved! 😋 I really liked the design of the Orange Hotel; the color scheme is quite charming. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were beautiful and kind, offering warm and attentive service with smiles that brightened my whole day. The room and bathroom designs were very tasteful, with a lovely vintage vibe. The amenities were excellent – a rain shower, smart toilet, and convenient sink. The room itself was clean and tidy, with plenty of natural light. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning was fresh and quiet, allowing me to get a fantastic night's sleep and shake off travel fatigue. I have to give a special shout-out to the large TV in the room. It has smart screen mirroring, and the sound quality of the speakers was outstanding – listening to music felt layered and立体 (three-dimensional) 👍👍👍. Finally, I really appreciated the thoughtful souvenir gift from the hotel 🎁. Thank you 🙏. I'll definitely choose the Orange Hotel brand again next time!

QQUEE Yu SengMy stay at Etown Hotel (Chengdu Taikoo Li Chunxi Road Branch) during my trip to Chengdu was fantastic overall. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. Getting around by subway is also very quick. The room was spacious and clean, with a simple yet elegant decor. The bedding was comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were warm and attentive, making me feel right at home from check-in to check-out. The breakfast spread was varied and tasty, providing plenty of energy for the day's activities. Whether you're visiting Chengdu for leisure or business, this is a great choice. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Chengdu!

GGuest UserI spent two nights at this beautiful hotel, on a visit to Emeishan with my girlfriend. It was an amazing experience! First of all, the pick-up from the train station by the hotel owner was really a welcome touch — he helped us greatly throughout our stay, making sure we had the best possible experience in Emeishan. The room itself was beautiful — amazing views from our own private balcony; a very tasteful, new and comfortable interior; impeccably clean; and a great selection of fruit, snacks, etc. in the room. A beautiful and convenient location too. The breakfast was really good — lots of dishes, and both days were different. It was lovely to sit on the balcony in the morning, looking out at mountains, eating a delicious breakfast and drinking coffee. I would highly recommend visiting Emeishan itself, and I think this hotel is the perfect base for a trip there — the next day, we visited Leshan giant Buddha (not far away by train), before returning to Chengdu in the evening. Overall, a great place to stay, and I definitely want to visit again!

GGuest UserThe first thing I would like to mention is the attentive and friendly staff: reception, at breakfast, room cleaning - everyone was kind, friendly and helpful in everything. We got quick responses to our enquiries on Wechat - in the evening we asked about the use of appliances and a kind lady came and showed us how to use the washing machine and air conditioning. The girl at reception (unfortunately I didn't remember the name, but it's a very nice girl with glasses) always answered any questions we had. Also, she even remembered our parcels from Taobao ordered to the hotel and when she saw us, she told us they had arrived. And then helped us unpack them. You could really feel the care in all the actions. Next is a lovely big room with beautiful decor. The large round bed is cosy and soft and the bed linen is changed on request. Good housekeeping. Every day we had towels changed and bottles of water replenished. In addition, we could always get extra water in the lobby. And noticing that we leave the room later, they did not disturb us early in the morning. The room was quiet! Although there was one day when the tarmac was being laid at night outside with all the accompanying noise, but it really does not apply to the hotel. The air conditioning and fridge worked perfectly. We were pleased with the presence of a mini washing machine (laundry detergent is available and replenished) and steamer in the room - such is not often met in hotels. The hairdryer had good sufficient power. Sockets are universal. A bonus was a large mirror in the bathroom and a full-length mirror in the hall. Also on one of the days we were unexpectedly brought a plate of fruit in the room, it was very nice! The lift to the floors with hotel rooms is operated by guest cards, which guarantees more security. To name things that could be improved, it is a bit dim lighting in the room. Also the tap in the bathroom sink was tight and seemed a little unreliable. We had breakfast included - good, reasonably varied choice of food. The staff are friendly and keep a good eye on everything. They also remembered my preferences: I like to drink tea in the morning - and at one point they themselves came over and asked me if they could make me tea... so thoughtful! There is also afternoon tea with desserts in the lobby. Plus to the above, we like the location of the hotel - convenient, it's in an important central area with lots of shops, cafes, parks around, and metro stations close by. The only thing is, if you're with multiple suitcases, consider that the path itself from the metro is nice but uneven and runs along knobbly tiles and crowded narrow sections. Probably the best option with suitcases would be to take a taxi. Our stay all week was excellent. This is a hotel we would love to return to. Thank you!
