The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Copenhagen, close to many city attractions. It's within walking distance of the pedestrian street and Nyhavn, and public transport is easily accessible, with both the Central Station and metro station a convenient walk away.
The hotel was really lovely and there was lots of hotel staff on hand ready to help if needed. Which i did on 1 occasion when my key card wasnt working the lift and i got stuck, they called out an engineer that day. Nust make sure that both you key cards work the lift. Also in the rooms just be awear that there is a small step up to the bathroom to stop room flooding, this is a design feature but east to stub toe (needs to be a sticker with a waring sign about small step). Mini bar in rooms are well stocked.
The location of the hotel is very close to central station and is a short walk to the meatpacking district and Tivoli. The staff are friendly and helpful with guests. The wine offered during happy hour is a nice offering, and the lobby can get quite busy during this time. The breakfast is nice and offers a good assortment of items, but can become repetitive if you're staying for longer duration as the items are the same each day. The rooms are small and cozy, however the bathrooms are even smaller. The shower is directly adjacent to the toilet and is separated only by a shower curtain which will get the floors of the bathroom wet. A nice hotel option close to the train station.
Like the old hotel of great-grandfather generation, the lobby is very tasteful, there is a fireplace, and the room does not need to use a heavy brass key to open the room. Even the elevator up and down also reflects the rhythm of the old age. The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful. You can walk to the Royal Castle of Fredensborg in about seven or eight minutes. There is a beautiful large garden behind the castle. It is recommended to leave enough time to take a walk there.
Excellent and very clean! The only downside is that there's no shuttle service on weekends, which makes getting around a bit inconvenient. It would be great if they offered a shuttle on weekends too, especially since Denmark is quite cold and it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the hotel.
Checking in & out are done via the self-check in automat. Didn't try the breakfast. There's an indoor swimming pool which is great. Room is clean & tidy, with some traces of dust though. The hotel looks dated but well-maintained. The bartender is cheerful and staff are friendly. Just a few steps away from Kastrup Airport. Train station connected to the hotel so we simply took the train to Copenhagen city centre ftom the hotel which took about 20 minutes.
I arrived at the hotel a little after 10 AM, originally planning to drop off my luggage and head out to explore, then check in after 3 PM. However, the front desk was incredibly welcoming and, seeing that a room was available, allowed me to check in early. The hotel is super close to the Island Brygge M1 station, making it convenient to get anywhere. Honestly, it's not even far to walk to attractions, as Copenhagen itself isn't a huge city. You can even spot several landmarks right from my room!
Hotel was great. A little out of the centre of Copenhagen but bus was easily accessible and affordable. Hotel was clean and staff were super friendly. Breakfast was yum, lots to choose from
Absolutely amazing location, right next to a metro station, great location with loads of amenities surrounding the area. Spacious rooms, great bar area. Good breakfast but buffet style so loads to eat. Everything is in walking distance of up to half an hour from every attraction if you're a faster (not fast) pace walker. Friendly staff, 24hr reception, amazing atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Absolutely love this hotel. The interior is incredible, the staff is super helpful, the location is ideal right next to the central station. Booked the cosy room and yes it was small (just like it says online) but it was so nice anyway. Super comfortable bed and just overall great.

GGuest UserNewly built hotel in an excellent location, a short walk across a bridge to the famous Nyhavn district. Lovely, nice and comfortable room. A few slight negatives though, they only have housekeeping once every 3 days, in order to reduce the environmental impact. Not a bad idea, but it also meant that our glasses/mugs didn't get cleaned or replaced. We were also told the mini-bar was free and would be restocked daily, but this didn't happen once.
SSCOTTYCHELSEAStayed at Locke Copenhagen and it was such a great experience from start to finish. The design is what immediately stands out—modern, stylish, and thoughtfully put together without feeling cold or overly minimal. It feels more like a beautifully curated apartment than a typical hotel.
The room was spacious (especially by Copenhagen standards), with a fully equipped kitchenette that made longer stays really convenient. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and designed with comfort in mind. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved the natural light coming in during the day.
Location-wise, it’s excellent—close enough to the main attractions and public transport, yet tucked away in a quieter area so you can actually relax after a day out exploring. The vibe of the surrounding neighborhood also feels more local and less touristy, which I really appreciated.
Service was friendly and efficient without being intrusive. The staff were helpful whenever needed and gave good recommendations around the area.
Overall, Locke Copenhagen strikes a perfect balance between hotel convenience and apartment-style living. Would definitely stay here again, especially for a longer visit.

LLing15 - 20min walk away from main attractions. There’s a lake in front of hotel that’s nice.
Hotel drop off point are stairs to go in, take note if you are taking heavy luggage. No aircon in hotel only fan that you can’t adjust speed.
Additional bed for kid charge at 300kr per night.
Family bicycle available for rent at 600kr per day.
Happy hour with free drink from 5-6 pm daily.
Artistic interior and nice garden. Also creepy artwork on the wall.
Overall not bad experience, some staff are friendly some are not.
MM413439****This is my first time writing a review. Last night, the fire alarm went off, and in the chaos, I lost my phone. Joe, one of the hotel staff, helped me find it. He was incredibly helpful and patient, and I'm so grateful to him. It was truly the best experience I had in this city!
MMr.Saif 赛义夫My recent stay at the Scandic Glostrup presented a bit of a trade-off. While the hotel offered good services and a nice breakfast, its location being far from the city center was a significant factor in my experience. The journey to the heart of Copenhagen took approximately half an hour, which required some planning and consideration for transportation. This distance might be a drawback for those primarily interested in easily accessing central attractions and nightlife. However, the hotel itself provided a comfortable and well-serviced environment. The staff were helpful, and the amenities were satisfactory. I particularly enjoyed the nice breakfast, which offered a good variety and quality of food to start the day. In conclusion, Scandic Glostrup could be a suitable option for travelers who prioritize good service and a pleasant hotel experience and don't mind the commute to the city center. If being centrally located is a top priority, however, the half-hour travel time needs to be factored into the decision.
GGuest UserGreat location but keep in mind in Copenhagen, everything is walkable. so many reasonable options within walking distance. Basically, at this place you pay steep premium for staying within a stone's throw distance of the main street. Nice decor... but many things were dated. Carpets in lobby were dirty almost all the time. Cleaning crew was good, but had to remind the reception for simple things such as refill hand soap, towels, tissue paper etc... Another disappointment was HVAC. Hotel team locks the temperature at 21.9C so the room does not cool as much as it should. and the HVAC seemed dated and very noisy for comfortable sleep. I suppose they know most guests are one-time visitors so charge high rates but no need to make any effort beyond the basic. overall average experience.
GGuest UserThe breakfast was perfect and the sleep was very comfortable, but the price was a little expensive. It is very close to the central railway station in the city center, and it is very convenient to travel. You can walk or ride a bicycle🚲
Ssteph1229anieThe room type I chose was a bit small, but it had everything one needs. However, I don't think it quite meets the full standard of a 'Hotel.' For example, I often use tissues in hotels, but there's no tissue box provided here. Perhaps it's due to sustainability efforts that they don't prepare them, which can be a bit inconvenient.
The breakfast is good, tasty, and plentiful. I'd recommend booking it for at least one day if you stay here!
The location is convenient for getting around, and there's a souvenir shop at the end of the street below Hotel Mayfair! It's super convenient to be able to buy souvenirs right where you're staying!
