"Great little hotel just across the river from old town, walkable everywhere, including the bus station. Loved the investment in proper dark blinds that keep out the light and soundproofing (important for the noise from the bar downstairs that goes until the early morning). Basic amenities (e.g. shampoo/conditioner/body wash all in one and 1 bottle of water which was not refilled during our 3-night stay) but great value for the location and quality of the room. Would stay again!"

GGuest UserThe lady at the front desk was very friendly and enthusiastic when we checked in, asking if we needed a map and briefly explaining the surrounding routes.
The water pressure in the bathroom was a bit low, and switching between the showerhead settings required some guesswork.
Breakfast had a decent variety of choices.
It's only about a ten-minute walk from the Guggenheim Museum and the airport bus stop. It would have been better if they had provided information about the airport bus service being suspended on May 1st, as we checked out on Labor Day and waited at the bus stop for over half an hour for nothing.

GGuest UserExceeded my expectations, it's much better than what the reviews suggested.
The location is excellent, right next to the Shell Beach, although the hotel doesn't offer a view of it.
The shower in the bathroom has strong water pressure. The room has large windows, and while there might be some noise issues as others mentioned, earplugs can easily solve that. The room itself is also quite spacious. Breakfast was good too.
When booking, I requested two single beds, and the hotel paid attention to my preference, unlike other places that often get the bed type wrong. This was a pleasant surprise.

Although this place is attached to another hotel which is much more impressive, it makes you jealous you are not there!

GGuest UserAlthough it's a bit far from the old town of Bar, it's very close to the bus stop. It was super convenient as it only takes about 10 minutes to reach the city center by bus, or about 15 minutes if you walk.
It's a very comfortable hotel because it's so quiet. There's also a small supermarket just a 2-minute walk away that's open late, which was really handy.
The hotel itself is very clean, and the movie-themed rooms, breakfast area, and lobby were all really lovely.
The hotel staff were always smiling and kind. They were also very helpful when the Wi-Fi wasn't working, which I really appreciated.
I would definitely want to stay here again if I go to San Sebastian. Thank you very much.

BbaraoGuild**”BAD: Beware of the 'Upgrade'”**
Our priority when booking was the room size and budget, so we reserved a 32m² City View room.
At check-in, the hotel staff offered us an ”upgrade.” He said that for an additional €25 per day, we could ”upgrade,” so we agreed.
However, while the room did have a Sea View, the size was downgraded to just 21m². I told them that paying €25 to have a smaller room was a downgrade, but they insisted that the view had been upgraded.
I asked to be moved back to the room we originally booked, but the staff ignored my request for an entire day.
Let me ask you this: if you went to see a new landscape, and the view changed, how would you describe it? You wouldn’t say the landscape itself was ”upgraded,” would you? You’d say the view was different or better.
The following day, I finally got a response from the staff. They told me I’d need to pay an additional €70 per day if I wanted a 32m² Sea View room.
While the hotel facilities and scenery are excellent, the staff are focused entirely on business and seem to aim to squeeze every extra euro from their guests.
In the end, we ended up paying the €25.

GGuest UserIt is clean and friendly. The room condition is good for the price. (Hotels with the same price near Abando Station have smaller rooms for the same price) You can walk to major tourist attractions and public transportation is good, so it was convenient for sightseeing.

LLeonie AmandaThe location is perfect, as the hotel is situated just above the Intermodal Bus Station, which provides convenient connections to and from the airport, as well as access to the metro.
The hotel is very clean, and the breakfast is delicious. The only thing I would comment on regarding breakfast is the coffee selection: there is no cappuccino available, as the coffee machine only offers espresso or American coffee.
In terms of the hot breakfast options, they only serve scrambled eggs, which were undercooked for my preference. I would have appreciated having other egg options, such as boiled eggs, an omelette, or fried eggs, as this would have given guests more choice.
I also really liked that the hotel provides complimentary drinks in the lobby, including cold water infused with lemon and orange. This is a lovely touch and especially appreciated during hot weather, such as in August when I stayed.
Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

SShiow ChinLocation is a bit out of the city centre, but located in a peaceful area (contrastingly) next to a forest and a biotech hub. However, a bus stop a couple of minutes' walk from the hotel has a service that goes directly to the Boulevard located between the Old Town and the City Centre (85sen per trip or cheaper with the San Sebastian Card - available at the hotel) within 25 mins (or slightly longer with traffic).
My room was comfortable and clean, although it might be a bit tight for space with 2 people. Bed was comfortable with pillows of various firmness.
Bathroom was big and well-designed, although the shower and bath might be a bit tight for larger people. Shower pressure was excellent.
Tip: Open the drawer under the sink to dispose your garbage and recyclables.
Staff were all friendly, polite and helpful.
My only complaint is that my water was never refilled throughout my stay, but I admit I did not ask about it at the time.

GGuest UserWhilst the facilities of the room are good the communication is absolutely woeful. We tried for 3 days to contact the property after they sent the pre-registration email through ALL of their channels - email, Whatsapp and phone call with not one response. It came to the day of arrival and with no response we had to try via Trip.com and finally got to live chat with a person who then followed up with the hotel. Needless stress for us that could have been avoided with a simple reply.
Whilst we had an enjoyable stay the public areas are very dark (the walls and ceiling are painted a very dark grey) and similarly in the bathroom of the room - seemed a very odd colour choice. Also, we could smell what others were cooking in their rooms.
Finally, (not the hotels fault) but we had noisy neighbours in the room above and as the floors are timber we could here them (or their kids) making noise til 1 am.
Overall, disappointed.
