4-Star Hotels in Extremadura, Spain

This hotel is well located and definitely a solid 4 star. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with a good distance between the bed and the doorway. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like the coffee maker and snacks, which were perfect after my late afternoon arrival. The only drawback was the doors. While they look stylish with their decorative design, they aren’t soundproof, so you may hear some noise. Fortunately, the rooms are far enough apart that it wasn’t a major issue. Also I should have booked a room with a view as this hotel, like most hotels in Spain, gave me an inner courtyard view which is basically a window that faces a wall. Most importantly, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

Absolutely loved this parador! We also upgraded from the basic room - and it was worth it! Good and helpful staff! We had a lovely dinner there!

We enjoyed our one night at the hotel. The lobby and the common spaces were all well decorated and clean. The rooms were well kept, clean and comfortable, everything worked. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was breakfast, there were few choices and just underwhelming for a four star hotel. I would still recommend this hotel and would stay there again

We chose the Zafra Parador because we traveled through Spain and stayed in the right place to rest on that night, but that was not the only criterion: it was a very beautiful historic building with conditions and good comments. Unfortunately, the atrium garden is being renovated, otherwise the accommodation experience will be better. Although it is not easy to go to the room, you have to turn to an elevator and a few stairs, but it is worth it! There is a large balcony to enjoy the Mudhar-style monastery building! A hotel and town worth experiencing again!

Good location, cleanness, and attention. Beautifully decorated. For a 4 star hotel, they missed some details that should be a must: bottled water, napkins, bigger trash can, and shower mat.
