**Absolutely fabulous gem of a hotel – we’re already planning our return!** I’m almost reluctant to sing its praises too loudly in case we can’t get a reservation next time, but I simply cannot recommend The Ocean highly enough. This place is an absolute standout. From the moment you arrive, the service is exceptional. The team is warm, highly attentive, and genuinely approachable – every single member made us feel like valued guests rather than just another booking. They anticipated our needs before we even asked, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfast was superb, with a wonderful selection to suit every taste and waistline. What really elevated it was the full table service – a lovely, touch that made the whole experience feel special and relaxed. The hotel restaurant is an absolute must. After scouting every other option in the area, we ended up eating there both nights of our stay because it was, without question, the best find around. The menu offers a fantastic selection, everything is cooked fresh to order, and every dish we tried was outstanding. The portions are generous yet perfectly judged – so much so that we sadly couldn’t squeeze in a dessert, though the menu looked every bit as tempting as the mains. The hotel itself has been decorated with real taste and care throughout. Our room was stunning – fresh, modern, and incredibly welcoming, while still feeling cosy and homely. It’s such a refreshing change from the usual tired, tacky seafront offerings; the team has clearly poured heart and soul into creating somewhere that feels both stylish and genuinely comforting. Overall, The Ocean is a superb find – one of those rare places that ticks every box and leaves you smiling from check-in to check-out. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area. A Perfect Day at The Bedingfeld Arms! What a truly wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, The Bedingfeld Arms delivered exactly what we were hoping for—and more. Nestled in a charming location, it felt like a gentle escape into the countryside, with just the right mix of warmth and ease. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. We lingered over our meal, not wanting it to end! The rooms were just what we needed: cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. It was so lovely to wake up refreshed and step out into such a peaceful setting. While some might wish for a slightly more “posh” or traditional pub feel—Tom did miss the classic old-world touches like dark walnut floors and the scent of oak smoke in the air—we both appreciated the light, airy ambiance and modern comfort. It’s clear The Bedingfeld Arms has found its own style, and it’s working beautifully. Altogether, it was a delightful, cheerful, and refreshing day, and we’re so glad we chose to spend it here. The room was an accessible room and there was plenty of space and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty and hot. Plenty of choices The only poor issue was a nasty smell in the bathroom. We needed to spray deodorant in there before use. Sadly this was not what we expected.

A very spacious hotel with a lot going on. Decent size bar and restaurant, and was very busy when I visited. I had a single room up in the garret and, whilst no air con, this was clearly stated when booking and I didn't mind. The room was very clean and, whilst sparsely decorated, was absolutely fine. The bed was really comfy and the linen crisp. It has some pretty whacky decor and lots of reproduction features, not least the very thin fake chesterfields in the bar, they were so narrow I couldn't move my elbow appropriately to take a drink. But lots of people there clearly loved it. And I think I did too. Heard many people talking about how they'd stayed several times. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel location for the heliport, always clean, with nice gym and pool. Had comp breakfast which was very nice.

This is our second visit as a family at the Cromer Country Club. This visit we had extended out our invitation to our parents. We all enjoyed our 4 night stay. This place is brilliant and accommodating for families. We have a 9 month old baby. We asked for an apartment close to the road so we could have easy access for a pram. Which they did. Staff friendly. The restaurant catered for our baby and the food was delicious. You can walk to the coast comfortably. The apartment was clean, updated, and accessible for our family. We would definitely recommend and go again.

A faultless experience from the friendly check-in to smooth check-out. The room had everything needed and the bed was comfortable. Location is ideal for being in the centre of town. Would definitely stay again.

Looks a little run down outside and quite dated inside. We spent one night in a twin room which was reasonably clean however i would suggest they upgrade the mattress protectors. Nice little complementary tray with water, tea coffee sugar and biscuits. Staff on reception were very friendly. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment. Overall stay was good.

Receptionist was rude and unhelpful, maybe caught her on a bad day but as she was rude unhelpful and unwelcoming over our 3 day stay, we felt she let the whole hotel down. The rest of the staff were amazing! Helpful, cheerful, happy to go above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable room. Had it not been for the lady on the front desk, I would have given a 5 star rating, but she really needs some retraining.  The rest of the staff, keep up the great work!

The summer room is a small cosy unit attached to the main house with a separate entrance. It's about 30 minutes's walk to the city centre. We preferred not to walk the quiet streets after dinner to get back to the flat. There are a lot of parking options and it's a flat rate of 3 to 4 quids after 5 pm to the next day.
