Hotel had everything we needed and the staffs were really nice! It is also very near a metro station, supermarket, and good food.
Only down side is that the carpet is slightly stained (might be hard to maintain), otherwise all other facilities was really clean and nice. Also note that it might not be for light sleepers as the road sounds are loud and every hour you’ll get big honking/sirens wailing.
The hotel boasts an excellent location right by the Danube River in Buda. It's very close to major attractions like Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle, all within a 10-15 minute walk. In the evenings, strolling along the Danube is a must, as the scenery on both banks is absolutely beautiful. There's also a bus stop less than a 5-minute walk away, where you can buy single-use or multi-day travel passes, which is incredibly convenient for independent travelers.
The rooms, while not spacious, are clean and well-maintained. However, I wouldn't recommend booking a room with a balcony. The balconies are small, very close to neighboring ones, and lack any partitions, meaning zero privacy.
Breakfast was decent, and the Greek yogurt was particularly delicious. Plus, on the ground floor, fruit tea and hot water are available all day, which was a very convenient touch.
This is a great choice for Budapest. Yes it’s a chain hotel but the rooms are spotlessly clean, has good soundproofing (so it’s quiet) and there are useful facilities (like a gym and spa). For the price I thought it was excellent. The breakfast is great too. When you want a hotel where you can guarantee a pleasant stay this is the one.
I had a wonderful experience staying at the Danubius Hotel Hungaria City Center. The location was perfect — close to the city center and very convenient for public transportation. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely stay again on my next visit to Budapest!
Perhaps my favourite hotel in Budapest! The service and rooms are comfortable and surpassed our expectations. The breakfast is plentiful (with champagne!) and complimentary tea and coffee is available throughout the day.
We had an absolutely incredible experience during our stay. Best was the swimming pool area. The surroundings were stunning, with breathtaking scenery that left us in awe. Every aspect of the resort was meticulously organized, creating a seamless experience from check-in to check-out. We especially enjoyed the expansive pool area, which was perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly; it truly made our visit unforgettable!
I really liked the hotel. The breakfasts were incredibly tasty and varied, the room had everything you need. The hotel is located next to the supermarket, about 5 minutes walk away. Public transport was also 10-15 minutes away from the hotel. Next time I will definitely stay here.
Having just returned from Madrid, Spain, I found this place incredibly spacious, authentically European in style, and very cozy by comparison. Although there was a minor hiccup – a curtain fixture accidentally fell off the wall, likely due to the building's age – I still quite liked its classic charm. Moreover, the building's location is superb, right at the entrance of a major metro hub. You can get off the airport express, cross the road, and be at the hotel – absolutely no need for a taxi for check-in. Overall, the experience was fantastic. The gentleman at the front desk was exceptionally elegant and polite, making it feel akin to staying at Shanghai's legendary Peace Hotel.
really enjoyed stay. perfect option for business travelers, close to metro and tram station.the residence is spacious. clean, with kitchen and washing machine. will be my option for my next trip as well.
reception staff are friendly.
although i didnt have time to try the breakfast in Anantara Hotel (with surcharge) yet, would love to save it for next time

BBamBam wowoweeWe had a really nice stay — it truly felt like home! The place was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was kind and responsive, which made the experience even better.
One small suggestion though: it would be great to include a short video or clip with the instructions (like check-in steps or how to use certain appliances). It would make it easier to follow rather than reading through a long list of directions. Overall, a warm and pleasant stay that we’d definitely recommend!
GGuest UserExcellent hotel to spend time between flights. The hotel is close to the airport with a free shuttle service available 24 hours a day. Large and clean rooms, rich, varied and delicious breakfast. Additional meals can be ordered for a fee - all the dishes we chose were delicious.
Excellent staff at the reception.
GGuest UserWe stayed for 3 nights, arriving at 2 AM and checking in ourselves. Budapest Center Residence provided very clear and detailed instructions and explanations, including text and videos, so check-in was no problem at all. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and fully equipped. The rooms were on two floors; the upper floor had a large bed, bathroom, and balcony, while the lower floor had a large bed, kitchen, dining table, and toilet. We enjoyed our homemade breakfast on the balcony and hung our clothes to dry. The location was excellent, in the heart of Pest district, within a 5-minute walk of the airport bus. Major attractions in Pest district are within a 30-minute walk, which is very convenient. There are restaurants, bars, and supermarkets nearby, making it easy to buy drinks and food. This would definitely be my first choice for my next trip to Budapest.
XxmsusannaI had previously emailed them requesting a room with a good view, and indeed, the hotel assigned me a high-floor room directly facing the Parliament building. The transportation is very convenient; there's a taxi stand right outside, and the metro station is only a few hundred meters away, making it easy to get anywhere. However, European hotels are generally quite small. If you don't have high expectations, it's certainly acceptable, though the hygiene was a bit subpar – there was a spider that seemed to have been living there for quite some time.
WWarlie Zambales DiazHotel President Budapest exceeded all my expectations! The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was impeccable, making for a truly comfortable and relaxing stay. The breakfast selection was outstanding, offering a wide variety of options that catered to all tastes, and everything I tried was delicious and fresh. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional—they were incredibly warm, accommodating, and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was perfect.
The hotel’s location is another highlight. It is within walking distance of major landmarks like The Parliament and St. Stephen’s Basilica, making it a perfect base for exploring Budapest. There are also many great restaurants and other tourist spots nearby, making it easy to enjoy the city without the hassle of long commutes. I highly recommend this hotel for its quality and convenience!

CCengweiParking is available, though it's a third-party lot roughly 100 meters from the hotel, but it's free for guests. Despite being located right next to a main road, the hotel's soundproofing is quite good, so it's not noisy. The soundproofing in the rooms is also decent. Breakfast was acceptable; you can certainly fill up. However, during exhibitions at the New International Expo Center, the hotel's value for money is extremely poor. Prices are heavily inflated, costing 500-600 RMB per night, whereas normally around 200 RMB would be sufficient.
