4-Star Hotels in East Java, Indonesia

The location was perfect for us, as we really enjoy exploring a new city on foot. There are many eateries within walking distance of the hotel, including the famous Tunjungan No. 39 restaurant, as well as major shopping malls like Tunjungan Plaza. The service provided by the staff was also excellent, from the front desk to the cleaning crew and even the security guard. We will definitely come back again.

The room is very good, convenient to travel, come with the family, the most problem. The receptionist is kind, cute, polite, recommended for Thai people. There is food around the hotel as well. Come together with many friends, very cool.

The best hotel we stayed in Surabaya, conveniently located beside Tunjungan plaza with many restaurants and stores. Walking distance around 5 mins have many chic and hipster cafes worth visiting. Hotel room was clean and very spacious. All the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The best part was the buffet breakfast, with many arrays of foods and live stations. With all the delicous food and warm staff at the restaurant, we really enjoyed the whole breakfast. Highly recommemded!

Don’t skip the breakfast—it’s absolutely worth the extra add-on! The spread is solid, though I’d love to see them add local coffee and lontong sayur for that perfect traditional breakfast vibe. The hotel’s direct door to the mall is a game-changer: so many great eateries, a cinema, and shops just steps away. Rooms are spotless, but fair warning: you can only adjust the fan, not the thermostat, so at 21°C it does run a bit chilly. Still, it’s a tiny trade-off for the location and comfort. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

This is a good hotel. We stayed from December 13th to 14th, 2025. However, we had a problem with the bathroom drainage not working properly, causing water to overflow onto the room floor. When we complained, the response was poor, and we had to wait a long time to switch rooms. Even the hotel staff who promised to help move our belongings didn't assist wholeheartedly.

Hotel staff not so warm and friendly. Some do not understand basic english. I was left standing for no reason. Only when i asked what am i waiting for, someone “jumped” in and served me. Room was ok. Comfy bed. I slept well. But towels are were old with frayed ends. Gross. Location is less than 10 mins to Tunjungan Plaza, a popular mall. Traffic is mad so crossing the road is challenging. No bottled water but rooms have pitchers to fill up water from Dispensers outside rooms. Good initiative.

This is a great hotel in Surabaya. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the pool and gym are excellent. There's even a basketball court! The breakfast spread is fantastic, and the location is superb, with plenty of restaurants nearby.

I requested a non-smoking room, but I could smell strong cigarette smoke every night, which disturbed my sleep. The air conditioner was also not cold, and I couldn’t adjust the temperature because the remote control was broken. No floor mat was provided, and the hotel itself feels quite old and in need of upgrades. My transportation keep registering every time I went out. Overall, the best thing about this hotel is its strategic location. It’s easy to access restaurants, malls, and several attractions within walking distance. The staffs also very friendly. To repeat again? I don’t think so. Better to find another best place to stay for you to have a memorable nights in Surabaya 🙌🏼..

This is a new hotel, and the environment is quite good. The breakfast selection is also pretty diverse. There are many restaurants nearby, and it feels like it's located in a new urban area. I'd consider staying here again next time. Everything else was fine.

Check-in and check-out processes were quick and easy. The service was satisfying, and breakfast was delicious. The location is easily accessible. Overall, highly recommended! We'll definitely return if we're transiting through Banyuwangi to cross over to Bali.
