Really lovely hotel and great attitude from staff. The room was lovely and spacious and they did manage to check us in a bit earlier after waiting. No pool here but aligns with description. Beach nearby. Shops and restaurants nearby. Sits within a mixed use development with bar/restaurant at ground floor. The only thing I have rated down is the AC. It’s really not that powerful and we kept wondering if it was on. Thanks for the staff here and wonderful breakfast.

Loads of potential and most of the staff are friendly and try their best. The resort could focus on training their employees so that they can deliver services on a more higher level. They are able to do their jobs but it's very basic and doesn't fit the brand image that they are trying to portray. The food quality was not of high standard and when the hotel is not full they cold probably provide a set menu for breakfast. It may not be as good at first, but for reducing food wastage and food related health it could be beneficial. Our stomachs weren't happy when we ate at the resort because of this. For staff, you can empower your workforce by rather having a few people who are highly skilled but in a variety of areas. Maybe doing family weekends and have a kids club going to get younger families witih kids under 12 to come, as I feel like this is a great resort for young families since the beach is calm and the pools are set up like that. There is a massive area on the one side of the common area that could possibly have a play area with a little crafts centre going. The location is far from most places so if the resort focused on uplifting this would probably help a lot. It really has a lot of potential.

Lovely place with excellent service. In love with the architecture, place is well-maintained, and the staffs were always super helpful. We had a wonderful stay!

So happy during my stay at truntum mandalika. The staffs are kind, friendly, helpful, they are amazing! The place is clean, the view is wonderful, and the amenities are complete. During out last few hour of stay the electricity went out, probably because we are switching on the TV, the kettle and the hairdryer at the same time, which is kind of confusing but overall it’s recommended! I will gladly choose this resort again :)

The cottage itself is not big, but cozy, with a large terrace, there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hot water in the shower is always with good pressure and not salty! Delicious breakfast from the menu. Hospitable staff. But the main minus for me is that the hotel DOES NOT HAVE ITS OWN BEACH OR ACCESS TO THE SEA!!! Lots of sun loungers with umbrellas, but they are in the shade of trees, you won't be able to sunbathe, and there is no descent to the sea! They are trying to strengthen the shore with bags. As a result, you had to go to the beach to the left, not far at all, but the shore there is dirty, a lot of garbage, since the beach is public and no one cleans it. You had to pay for sun loungers and an umbrella to neighboring hotels or cafes on the shore. Because of this, I was very disappointed with the hotel and Gili Air as a whole.

The room size is small, but the hotel is very new. The hotel is very positioned. There are a lot of food, drink and fun next to it. Every place is within walking distance. It is highly recommended for Chinese people to stay! ! !

The stay at origin was just fantastic . The rooms are clean . Breakfast is excellent with just enough of everything . The pools are kept clean . Motor bike hire reasonable . Out of town so you need a bike to get around . Great stay at Original

Arrived in the room and checked to see if the refrigerator was operating OK, it was not working , I informed the reception immediately and they sent their fixit man to the room who felt inside the fridge and told me it should get cold in 10 minutes , told him it was inoperable and to get a replacement ,off he went. 15 minutes later I contacted reception and a friendly man informed me that the existing fridge was OK because it was a cooler , not a freezer! They didn't know that I was a refrigeration engineer so down reception i go and informed them as to my former work status and a threat to contact the manager did they suddenly realise they couldn't ******** me, 5 minutes later i had a working fridge! Not happy with the laziness of the reception people

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans cet hôtel. L’emplacement n’est pas idéal car assez loin des coins un peu plus animés de l’île. De plus, un chantier naval (certes silencieux) est en cours de construction (Dunkerque) juste en face. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, en buffet varié avec cuisson des œufs à la demande à l’étage donnant sur la mer. Le niveau sonore est bas, idéal pour se reposer. Petit bémol pour la qualité du matelas qui n’est pas au rendez vous. Propreté impeccable, service de chambre au top qui change les draps tous les jours. Possibilité de louer des kayak masques et tubas, vélos directement sur la plage de l’hôtel. Personnel très sympathique et bienveillant. Pour finir, le rapport qualité prix est correct surtout en comparaison avec les autres offres de l’île, soit très élevées soit médiocres.

Location is good facing the beach, there are activities at the beach, ie electric motorcycle Very crowded during my stay due to local bank annual event Wifi is very week in the building, seriously need improvement Breakfast is ok, nothing special. During shower, the hot water is not possible to adjust, the water either too hot or too cold during shower. Won’t come back again due to the wifi & hot water issue
