Ron Keke is the GOAT!!! The location is super convenient, and they provide all the toiletries you could ask for, including very practical facial cleansers and masks! For this price at this location, what more could you possibly want? Just go for Ron Keke, you won't regret it! The overall vibe is quite retro, but the room is a bit small. If you lay out two suitcases on the floor, you might not have much room to walk around.

Hotel is new, clean, and modern. Sleep is comfortable. Shower facilities is great, I like that the doors of the shower room prevents water from splashing out to the nearby floor. Coin laundry is available at level 20. Breakfast is superb, the buffet spread is good. There's eel rice, nagoya chicken wings, and many more. Easy check out.

Had a wonderful 4-night stay at The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Nagoya. The hotel is beautifully designed, modern, and spotless, with a stunning city view that made the experience even more memorable. The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to Sakae Station, shopping, dining, and nearby attractions, which made exploring Nagoya very easy. My room was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful details throughout the hotel, from the elegant lobby to the practical facilities in the room. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, and their service made our stay feel smooth and pleasant. I also enjoyed the convenience of having restaurants and a Blue bottle cafe in the building, which added a lot of comfort to the overall experience. Overall, this was an excellent choice for my trip to Nagoya, and I would happily stay here again!!!

This hotel has an excellent location — right in front of Hisayaodori Subway Station Exit 4, which made getting around extremely convenient. There’s also a 7-Eleven just next door, and right behind the hotel is a lively district filled with restaurants, cafés, bars, supermarkets, and malls. It connects directly to Oasis and Sakae, so everything is within easy walking distance. I chose a shower-only room since I rarely use a bathtub. The sink being located outside the bathroom was actually a plus for me, as it provided better lighting for makeup. The room also had a large window, which made the space feel more open and comfortable. One of the main reasons I didn’t use the shower much is because the hotel has a really nice public bath. It’s very comfortable, with both indoor and semi-outdoor areas. I absolutely loved this facility — it was definitely one of the highlights of my stay. The hotel also collaborates with a luggage courier service that can send your suitcase to a building next to Nagoya Station (not directly inside the station), which is very convenient. I booked a room with breakfast, and although the selection was simple, everything tasted really good. There were real, hearty dishes, soup, some Western options, as well as desserts, coffee, and tea — all complete and very comforting. Some of the menu items also changed daily, which I really appreciated. I was very happy with the food overall. The lobby is beautiful, with high ceilings, large windows, and very comfortable sofas. The staff were generally helpful, but I did encounter one issue. Aside from 2 staff members (who I believe may have been of Indian descent), the Japanese staff did not speak English. While I understand this can happen, I think having basic English skills would be very helpful, especially since this hotel accommodates many international guests. When I asked about the luggage courier service, I felt like I was being passed around between staff. Another staff member came out to assist, but unfortunately, they also did not speak English and did not attempt to use a translation app. Instead, they tried to explain using pen and paper, which made the situation quite confusing. I felt there was very little effort to communicate clearly, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It has great facilities and an unbeatable location. I hope the communication aspect can be improved, as I would definitely stay here again when visiting Nagoya. Thank you!

This hotel is centrally located in Sakae, less than a 10-minute walk from both the Higashiyama and Meijo subway lines. It's surrounded by convenience stores, shops, and restaurants, and is just 100 meters from the Alpen Outdoors superstore, with many other major brands nearby and a 24-hour drugstore. The hotel also has an indoor hot spring. The triple room is very spacious and even cheaper than a double. The hotel breakfast is excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Nagoya.

The hotel was very well kept and offered a pleasant overall stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when we requested rooms close to each other or on the same floor. They were also helpful in receiving and handling our luggage. The room was spacious and comfortable for solo, and the bathroom was equally well designed and relaxing. The hotel is conveniently located about a 5–10 minute walk from JR Nagoya Station, making it easy to get around. There are plenty of food options nearby, along with an underground mall directly below the hotel and a convenience store just 2–3 minutes away, which adds a lot of convenience. One minor drawback is the limited laundry facilities—there are only two washing machines for the entire hotel, and a full wash-and-dry cycle takes around two hours. However, it is possible to check the machine status online, which helps with planning. Overall, it’s a comfortable, well-located hotel with great service and convenient amenities, with only a small downside regarding laundry capacity. The hotel breakfast buffet was also slightly underwhelming. It was a bit expensive for the variety offered, and I wished there were more Nagoya specialty dishes included considering the price.

The location right next to Kanayama Station is super convenient for getting around (I prefer it over Nagoya Station and Sakae). However, because of the single-pane windows, even on the 18th floor, you can still hear the train. Luckily, the noise level stays under 40 decibels, so it won't wake you up. There's also a shuttle bus nearby that goes to the Aeon Atsuta store. From the window, you can see an Aeon store, distant snow-capped mountains, and a little figure holding an umbrella on the roof of the building opposite. The twin beds can be pushed together, but there's a bunch of wires and equipment under the nightstand that prevents it from moving completely. This leaves a gap of about 20cm between the bed and the wall at the head, which is fine for a family of three to sleep comfortably. The mattress is a Simmons, and it's quite comfortable to sleep on, though the pillows are a bit too narrow. The bathroom looks a little older than it actually is, but it's perfectly functional.

The environment is great, the front desk service is attentive, and the hotel is clean with a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak. Housekeeping cleans daily and doesn't mess with your belongings, which is a big plus! It offers good value for money, is close to shopping malls, and convenient for the subway station.

My overall experience staying at the Nikko Style Nagoya was quite good. The hotel's location is decent, situated in the Nishiki area with plenty of dining options nearby. Getting around by public transportation is a bit less convenient. The room itself was clean and tidy, with a typical amount of space for a Japanese hotel of its kind. The hotel's service attitude is commendable; the front desk staff were polite and professional, making check-in and check-out efficient. Communication was generally smooth, even for non-Japanese speaking guests. Of course, there are some areas for improvement. For instance, the room size is relatively limited, which can feel a bit cramped if you have a lot of luggage. Also, elevator wait times can be a bit long during peak hours.

The room is very spacious and quiet, and looks better than the photos. There is convenient store, restaurants and car park downstairs which is very convenient for us traveling as a family. We enjoyed the nice view of the soccer pitch from 7/F, and the great atmosphere of Station Ai. Most importantly we were able to take a good rest after sightseeing during the day.

GGuest UserThis is a fantastic airport hotel! It's super convenient, located right across from the Meitetsu Line subway station hall, which connects directly to the terminal building. Perfect for those arriving in the afternoon or departing early in the morning. What's even better is how spacious the rooms are, and they all have large windows. Some room types even offer views of Ise Bay, which is stunning and expansive. The breakfast spread is incredibly generous too. Plus, there are plenty of comfortable lounge areas in the lobby on the first floor. It's all very thoughtful and relaxing.

AAnonymous UserThe room was larger than I expected, and the view was fantastic, offering a partial glimpse of Nagoya's city center. The hotel is located on a relatively busy street, so even when returning late as a solo traveler, I felt quite safe. The room's furniture and fixtures were a bit dated, but that didn't bother me as it was very clean. I could fully open my suitcase on the floor and still move around freely, which was very comfortable. The soundproofing could be better; I could hear doors opening and closing in nearby rooms, and occasionally faint conversations, but it was still within an acceptable range for me. There's a Family Mart on the third floor, accessible by elevator, and the bus terminal is also there. This is incredibly convenient for tourists planning to take a bus to more distant destinations. On my last day, it was also very easy to take the Meitetsu Line to the airport. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI rarely write reviews, but this hotel made our family trip in Nagoya a complete disaster. We booked for two adults and two children. At check-in, the staff said our booking only allowed four people and refused to let my husband even step into our room to help us unpack — even though he wasn’t planning to sleep there that night! I explained, again and again, that we were traveling as a family and were more than willing to pay extra for one more person. But the staff kept repeating the same rule with zero flexibility or empathy. My husband had no choice but to book another hotel for the night, leaving me and the kids alone for what was supposed to be a happy family holiday. The next morning, things got worse. They continued to treat us coldly and wouldn’t allow my husband to enter, even just to help with the luggage. After so much stress, I decided to check out early—losing one night’s payment—because I simply couldn’t stand how heartless and unaccommodating they were. Only when we were packing to leave did they suddenly offer to “upgrade” us to a larger room for extra money. But by that point, the damage was already done. I’ve stayed in many hotels in Japan and always admired the hospitality here, but this was truly the worst experience I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. They showed no kindness, no understanding, and no respect toward families. I strongly urge anyone traveling with family to avoid this hotel.

MMavis Yu Ling ChiuOur family had an absolutely delightful stay at Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. We did encounter a slight hiccup during check-in, as the hotel requested us to email our Trip.com check-in voucher for confirmation/arrangement, which caused a minor delay. However, this was quickly resolved, and it didn't detract from our overall experience. A highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the complimentary nightly ramen, which quickly became a cherished ritual for us. The delicious, comforting bowls were the perfect end to our busy days exploring Nagoya. Even more remarkable was the hotel's fantastic onsen. After long hours of sightseeing and walking, immersing ourselves in the soothing hot springs was pure bliss. It truly melted away all our travel fatigue, leaving us refreshed and rejuvenated for the next day's adventures. The combination of superb amenities and thoughtful touches made our stay incredibly memorable. We highly recommend Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae for families seeking comfort, relaxation, and a taste of authentic Japanese hospitality.

GGuest UserExcellent value for over 1600. The front desk staff spoke good English and gave us a room with a view facing Legoland. The hotel facilities are very kid-friendly, and the restaurant serves food that children love. Don't forget to open the safe in your room – it comes with a bag of LEGO toys! For dining, I recommend the street behind the hotel, Maker's Pier, which offers a wide variety of choices. The hotel also has a children's pool where kids can play and even build their own life raft. Be sure to book in advance; reservations for the afternoon or evening slots open at 12 PM, and each session is 30 minutes long. There's also a small children's playground next to the restaurant.
