4-Star Hotels in Kochi Prefecture, Japan

I stayed here last year as well. It was such a great experience that I wanted to stay here again this year, so I chose this hotel. The quality of the food seemed to have improved compared to last year. The bonito tataki was delicious. Also, the breakfast area was conveniently located, and they made efforts to avoid overcrowding, which was great. I'll definitely choose this hotel when I visit Kochi Prefecture again.

I stayed for one night and was really impressed. All the staff were incredibly helpful and kind, even giving me tips on the local area. 😊 Thanks to them, I had a very comfortable stay. My only minor suggestion would be regarding the loungewear – there's only one free size. As a 178cm, 75kg guy, it felt a bit small. I imagine many international travelers stay here too, so perhaps offering two sizes would be a good idea. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kochi. Thank you! 😊

Amazing view of the Niyodo River with a delicious kaiseki dinner! We had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the onsen!

I had a hard time getting a reservation during the Yosakoi festival, so I made a reservation through another site and then canceled it. I was shocked when they told me on the day that there was no reservation on my account! It turned out the hotel's management had changed and they were in the process of migrating their system, and it was just an oversight on their end, so I was able to stay there without any problems. They also granted my request for a room with a view of the fireworks, giving me a prime spot to watch the spectacular fireworks from a cool room! It truly became a once-in-a-lifetime memory.

We had the most amazing time at Sodayama Onzen. It is a very special place to relax and unwind. Our room had a private onsen overloooking a stream in the forest. The rooms were very spacious and clean. We also enjoyed the amazing food! It was a very special experience but way too much, especially in the mornings. But it was a great experience of fine Japanese cuisine. The staff was so friendly, communication with google translate helped.

The all-inclusive plan included delicious breakfast, a dinner buffet, and the lounge, leaving us full the whole time and very satisfied! Guests included families, young groups, and people of all ages and genders. Our room had an ocean view, and the sunset was beautiful. The hot springs also had a sauna and open-air bath. There was also a hot spring lounge, creating a luxurious space where you could relax!

For this trip, I chose a hotel closer to Episode 36! A hotel with beautiful sea views and a well-designed outdoor hot spring pool. The front desk staff were very patient. On the eve of the typhoon, many buses changed their schedules. The hotel staff also took us to the bus stop with the departing bus! Really sincerely grateful🙏 Highly recommended!

Good location, advanced facilities, high quality food, especially the breakfast buffet with many choices and good taste. The hotel staff are friendly, enthusiastic and helpful, which is a very good impression.

The hot spring was very pleasant. There was also a sauna! I went to the rice shop in the facility, but I was a little disappointed that I made a mistake in calculating at the time of payment. The rice you have reserved seems to come out smoothly, but it takes time to order it on the spot. We recommend that you book dinner or eat outside.

The room I stayed in was very clean and tidy. There is a TV, free wifi, the bathroom is very clean, the hardware facilities are first-class, and the service is very good. I will definitely stay here again in the future.
