AAnonymous UserVery pleasant stay at the hotel! Had an add on of the breakfast at promotional price of 78 ringgit per pax and the buffet spread was awesome! The staff are courteous and welcoming, feel very warm each time we bump into them. There’s a pillow menu for you to choose & welcome cookies upon check in (very delicious)! The massage shop in the hotel called Swan Reflex was good and price is comparable with shops outside (had an additional discount for hotel guests). Hotel is about 10mins walk away from CIQ, abit difficult to walk now with the ongoing construction at the surrounding.

JJuines HongCheck-in and check-out were a breeze. The room facilities are excellent; they've thought of everything you could possibly need. It truly felt like home. My only minor gripe is the lack of a designated drying area for clothes. After doing laundry, I had to find various spots (preferably under the fan) to hang things. But with the fan on full blast overnight, they dried just fine, which was good. The game room was very comfortable and a hit with the kids, though parental supervision is needed as there are some hard objects. The bed was incredibly comfy, and they provided two pillows – you could choose between soft and firm. Plus, there were plenty of smaller cushions if you couldn't decide. The room faced northeast, so it was bright and invigorating.

There was blood stain on bedsheet, and aircon one moment warm, one moment super cold … not sure what to think of it 🥲
The bed, not so comfortable to sleep on and very low level, for elderly not really good for them
Room size is small and a little squeeze for 2 persons. The bathroom lights are too dim
Breakfast wise, not so fantastic. Would recommend eat out since near by have many eatery options

MMcainI had a really pleasant and comfortable stay at Ramada Hotel Johor Bahru, especially in the East Wing room. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a cozy and relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a long day. Everything was neatly arranged, and the bed was very comfortable, giving me a good night’s rest throughout my stay.
What I appreciated the most was the overall cleanliness and attention to detail in the room. The facilities were in good condition, and everything felt well taken care of. The hotel environment itself was calm and welcoming, which added to the whole experience.
The staff were also friendly, polite, and helpful whenever needed, making the stay even more enjoyable. Service was smooth from check-in to check-out, which I really value when staying at a hotel.
Overall, I would say Ramada Hotel Johor Bahru is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Johor Bahru. The East Wing room in particular is definitely worth it. I would happily come back again and recommend it to others.

I especially loved the warm lighting, spacious layout, and relaxing pool area with a great city view. The location was convenient, and the overall environment felt safe and peaceful. Perfect for a short getaway or staycation — would definitely come back again!

AAnonymous UserUpon entering, the place looked and smelled great!
However we started seeing cockroaches, not the huge ones but the small ones that have no boundaries where they went.
We killed about 8 of these things before I contacted the property contact person. She / He was superb with the responsiveness and sent someone over within the hour to check the place and spray insecticide.
We came as a family of four with 2 kids. So I was not keen on having pesticide sprayed in an enclosed area where we had to breathe it, but we didn’t have much of a choice.
We left for dinner and came back hoping that the issue was resolved but we found more of these roaches! As it was late. We agreed to spend a night and I asked about the possibility of a refund or even a transfer to another property. The response I got was that they have to discuss with management and as of now they had nothing available.
Needless to say the night was terrible as we found roaches at the sleeping areas too. So we were stressed and didn’t get much sleep. In the morning, there were another four of these roaches crawling. So we decided that it was enough. We booked for 3 nights but left after 1.
To be fair, the property responded promptly, however they eventually stopped responding when we asked for a refund. I also felt that refunds in such situations should be considered.
Otherwise, the property would have been a pleasant stay if you drove.

AAnonymous UserThe room was in a great location and was beautifully decorated with a very nice design. Each bedroom had its own air conditioner and fan, which really helped with the heat in JB. Wi-Fi was provided, and the unit was also equipped with a microwave, water dispenser, and washing machine, making the stay very comfortable and convenient.
One thing to note is that if you’re staying in the master bedroom, the Wi-Fi signal is quite weak as the router seems to be too far away. We ended up using our mobile data most of the time instead.
Some feedback for the owner:
1. Provide more keys/access cards
Since the unit can accommodate up to 6 guests, it is likely to attract larger groups. I stayed with my family of four, and having only one key was quite inconvenient. My parents wanted to return to the room to rest, while my brother and I wanted to meet friends at different locations. However, because the key is required to access the lift, we were unable to split up freely. If one person had the key, everyone else would either need to coordinate their return timing or be unable to access the building independently. Additional keys or access cards would make a big difference for larger groups.
2. Install shower curtains and hooks in the bathrooms
There were no hooks available to hang clothes while showering. As a result, I had to place my dirty clothes on the toilet bowl and my clean clothes on the sink ledge. However, because there was no shower curtain, water splashed throughout the bathroom and even reached the toilet bowl area, causing my clothes to get wet. At the very least, installing a hook behind the bathroom door would help guests keep their clothes dry and off bathroom surfaces.
3. Place air fresheners in the bathrooms
Both bathrooms had a fairly strong sewage smell. Fortunately, keeping the bathroom doors closed prevented the smell from spreading into the bedrooms. However, when using the bathrooms, the odour could be quite overwhelming until shower products such as shampoo helped mask it. Adding air fresheners would greatly improve the bathroom experience.
Overall, we had a great time and would likely book again when we are back.
