Asia Premium Hotel Kuala Terengganu

Everything was ok for me except 2 things. 1. Room 214 (Deluxe Family Room) the fan from kitchen cafe below is so noisy. Cooking smell can get into the room by window. Management should cement the wall to avoid the noise and smell. 2. There is a leakage in Room 214 due to heavy rain. Hope the management can rectify the above. Other than that its ok.
Resorts World Kijal

Genting World Kijal in Terengganu is truly a hidden gem in Malaysia! This underrated hotel surpasses well-known properties like Park Royal in Penang and Lexis in Port Dickson. If you appreciate the soothing sound of waves, the feel of sand between your toes, and the refreshing breeze, this resort is a must-visit. Despite the slightly aged appearance of the buildings and amenities, the value for money is exceptional - at half the cost of the aforementioned hotels, choosing Genting World Kijal for your next trip is a no-brainer! With its picturesque beachfront location and tranquil atmosphere, this hotel offers a truly unforgettable experience. I rate this hotel 8.5/10 for its unbeatable value, stunning surroundings, and overall charm.

Bidong View Resort

The resort location is a bit far for Kuala Terengganu but close enough if you just came from Pulau Redang. It’s a very beautiful place with great sunrise view from its private beach and even my room. The place has been refurbished and brightened up as compared to when it was under the previous management when i heard many spooky stories regarding the place. They’ve just added horse riding to it’s activities around the resort. The staff were all friendly but they need to pay more attention to detail when doing housekeeping. Floor was sticky and i had to call them to reclean the room which they attended to really quickly upon my request. Also in another room that i booked they forgot to replenish the towels after the previous guests checked out. The breakfast was really cheap for RM20 buffet and had many varieties. The kuih muih and noodle soup was really delicious but the nasi lemak and fried beehoon were tasteless and dry. The sambal was great though. I hope they can remain consistent with the cooking. Seems like there were too many hands doing the cooking. Overall i would come here to chill and escape the hustle and bustle of city life but I’ll probably bring my own food
Primula Beach Hotel

Had a one night stay at Primula kuala terengganu. Rooms are big. Good location too. Eventhough the the rooms are a little dated, but the breakfast is really good. It feels like very authentic malay breakfast. I mean which hotel serves steamed Yam!! This one does and it is delicious. Also they have steamed glutinous rice and you pick your condiment to go with it... grated coconut, brown sugar and even dried fish to go with the pulut kukus...yum!! Many more.....

Just a transit to Redang. Hotel room just ok, nothing much to complaint. Location is ok, near to ChinaTown. But parking not so convenient, where parking is behind hotel building. If you have big luggages, young kids and elderly along, difficult a bit

The Qamar Paka, Terengganu
3.8/534 Reviews
On a overnight business trip to this town called Paka is a coastal town facing the South China Sea in Dungun District, Terengganu, Malaysia. Paka is a small town thriving on oil and gas activity. Paka is more popularly known as the home for the largest power station in Malaysia. While Trengganu is famous for tourist attractions on their beach activities where multiple resort and island is located here. Arrived during dinner time and check-in was a breeze the moment you stepped in to the resort lobby, the front desk were pleasant and helpful. Rooms are either facing the swimming pool or the sea front as most resorts. Rooms are basic and spacious with toilet amenities provided and I could said there’s privacy or sound insulated between rooms compared to those newer hotels now. The shower water pressure were strong all the time. The only setback is the entertainment TV channel which is weak hardly could see what’s on. If you are looking for a simple and relaxing stay, here the place - on food the in-house restaurant served multiple range of cuisine from local to international & the price I would said are quite reasonable for a hotel standard and tasty their food served is also presentable, this hotel does not sell or serve alcoholic drinks, lastly swimming pool and the beach is just minutes from your hotel room if you decided to have a outdoor activity.
