Great service. Parking was kind of far. The pool was were nice and the beach was nice. The food was expensive and not really that great. There's a little restaurant on the beach. Adjacent to the hotel that has very good food. Very reasonable there's a lot of interesting stuff around there. Nightlife singers. It's interesting place walk around

I've stayed here twice, and both times, checking in took forever. The staff at the front desk were running around, talking about something I couldn't understand. Also, both times, there were no bath towels in the room, so I had to call and wait a while for them. Other than that, everything else was fine. The room's ambiance, decor, and overall environment are quite good. For the price, I'd say it's an excellent value.

Only negative impression was with the breakfast buffet. Got free parking, but it's just hidden. If you have a car, it's a great place to stay. However, for backpackers on the go, it might not be the best option. The front desk staff are friendly, and the rooms were fantastically clean. My only negative impression was with the breakfast buffet. Since we came up at 9:30 onwards, the buffet line wasn't refilled, mentioning that we came up late. I understand that for two people, there's no need to refill, but at least offer food that's sufficient for two people, as we also paid for the full package. The coffee wasn't hot, and the creamer just floated on it. Good thing there was an à la minute egg counter.

The hotel's location is excellent. After shopping at SM Mall, you can easily go back to rest and drop off your purchases. Dining is also very convenient, and massages are readily available within the mall, or you can even get in-room service. Overall, it's pretty good, though the room is a bit small. A significant drawback is the extremely poor soundproofing. The issue isn't noise from other guests, but rather the heavy traffic outside at night. So, I highly, highly recommend bringing earplugs; they'll make a huge difference.

2nd time here. Good stay as usual. Bed was comfortable, AC was working perfectly. TV had lots of international channels and provided good and crisp reception. Friendy staff and clean room. Minor things though - the shower knob was leaking a bit.

We stayed at Clarkton for one night before a transfer to Manilla and were very impressed. The photos didn't do it justice, the pool and poolside space was a lot bigger than expected and there was a gym (although basic) that we didn't know about. Everyone was very friendly and helpful - the service couldn't have been better and the food from the 24/7 restaurant was impressive with lots of options. Would definitely recommend if you need somewhere close to Clark airport

The location is very convenient to the event that we are going to participate in. Very close to our favourite korean restaurant (Seoul), and Ayala Harbour Point. The hotel facilities are good and clean, there is an infinity pool at the roof deck and fitness centre at the 4th level. As for the room, this is one of the hotels we checked in that we feel relaxed, we have 2 double size beds, balcony overlooking the city and subic sea side, spacious T&B and living space wherein we manage to do our warm-up prior to the event. All the staff are very polite and hospitable. They have a restaurant we haven't tried since we preferred to eat in Seoul Resto, opposite of the street is the Royal Duty Free where you can buy other stuff that you might need during your stay.

Service was good. Bar and restaurant on the top floor. Very convenient location. Staff were friendly except some of the front desk girls who sometimes were not as friendly. Don't think they like working there. Room was ok. Bed was a little hard. Bedding was not that comfortable but it was basic. Can't expect too much. Would not come to this hotel again. Pay a higher price and get a good hotel.

LLorestHotel is nice. Location is good, few steps from the beach front. Rooms are clean but may need to upgrade as some facilities are quite old. When you use the faucet in the room, it is too loud. Friendly staffs. Overall it is a good stay and will certainly come back.

GGuest UserLocated near the red light district, not a bad thing if that's what you like. There is a large mall @ 5 minute walk away, easy to find. Front staff/doorman were excellent. The restaurant was average at best. Much better food outside the hotel. Went to Tequila grill several times, ordered Grab to the hotel as well. Very convenient. Overall a pretty good hotel for the price. Great swimming pool, although it rained the entire week, it is still a good looking pool. I would stay here again, the balcony rooms are worth the price, can sit outside and drink/smoke while looking out over the city.

GGuest UserI chose this hotel as one of the amenities mentioned a sauna. Apparently, they don't have a sauna amenity-- but a room that has a sauna. That is awfully misleading. As soon as we checked in, I was already disappointed. While it is new and recently renovated, I find the various elements of the room overdesigned and not very user-friendly. The peephole on the door was too high for either of us to reach. It also didn't have a cover (security risk). It might’ve been 6 feet. The chair and desk was not very ergonomic, the table was too high and the chair low. I dunno, seems like they designed the room for big people and I’m just a hobbit in a human world. The tables’ glass tops easily slides off because it doesn't have rubber feet to keep it in place. The sliding doors of the closet could easily overlap that it’d be hard to pull them to close properly. The bathroom door was unnecessarily huge. The bathtub setup is not very accessible, it’s setup way too high that you literally need a foot stool (that they have ready) to climb on. Needing a footstool and a handle is very accident-prone (the room we got was not senior/PWD-friendly, or even for someone with injuries). Even as an able-bodied person, it feel like one wrong slip on the stool can have disastrous consequences. The tub drain can easily be stepped on and then it closes, weird. The staff were nice and friendly but it was odd that they didn’t seem too aware about various hotel policies and rules or even amenities when asked about: whether the sauna was an amenity, if asking for a bottled water was paid, if getting something printed at the front desk would be paid, or when the lights would turn on when the power went out. Speaking of the power going out, it took more than 5 minutes, perhaps even up to 10, for the generator to kick in or maybe it was the actual power coming back already--not sure. But there was absolutely no care to its customers about the power outage that we were just in the room waiting for the lights to come on… It was never spoken about when we checked out the next day. No one checked on us after the lights came back on either. We had to find the number to call the front desk as the phone needs power to work and the number on the keycard doesn't work. Only one guy in the restaurant seemed to be on top of things during breakfast. Also seemed like they used powdered pineapple juice. But hey, the bed was really comfy, everything was new and clean. The room was also spacious.

Ggigi travelerfirst visited Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar when I was 15, and it has developed so much since then. The people are very welcoming, and I absolutely love the sunsets here it gives such a beautiful old Filipino vibe. The food at the Italian restaurant was good and served quickly this time. Just a tip: it helps to follow up on your drinks, as they can take a bit longer. The room is quite old, but still comfortable 👍

Rryanr3Review of La Jolla Resort (April 17–19, 2025) ⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ (3/5) We stayed at La Jolla Resort during Holy Week (April 17–19, 2025), and while there were definite highlights, a few issues kept it from being a five-star experience. What we liked: - The food was excellent—everything we tried was delicious and well-prepared. - The resort grounds and our room were clean and well-maintained, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. - Staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. - We appreciated the Holy Week activities, which added a nice, thoughtful touch to the overall stay. What could be improved: - The shuttle service was extremely disappointing. Delays were poorly communicated and ended up making us late for an important commitment. - After check-out, we hosted some guests for lunch, but we were only allowed access to the day tour area, which felt like a downgrade—especially after being paying guests. A bit more flexibility here would’ve gone a long way. - Our bathroom had some plumbing issues, which was inconvenient and not what we expected given the overall cleanliness of the room. La Jolla definitely has its strong points—particularly the food and staff—but the logistical hiccups and lack of guest accommodation after check-out need to be addressed to deliver a truly premium experience.

MMaribel S. AgustinMy family celebrated Christmas at Blue hotel and resort, and we had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and warm, and our hotel room came with two king beds, its clean and everything we needed was provided. The pools were spotless, though as expected in December, the water was cool. Even so, my sons loved playing in them, and for larger groups, there’s another pool with a net for water activities like volleyball. The boys also enjoyed playing table tennis. They offered us buffet breakfast for four, which was a standout. Foods are great. The resort is a bit far from the city, but it’s easy to find with Waze. Since the area is remote, there are no nearby restaurants, though they do serve à la carte meals. For our Noche Buena, we drove into the city and found plenty of Korean restaurants to choose from. We noticed the road back was quite dark at night due to its distance from urban areas. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. If you want a quiet place to stay, away from noise, then this place if perfect for you. To top it off, the resort gave my sons Christmas gifts when we checked out, which made them so happy. We’ll definitely book again — and as always, the transaction through Trip.com was easy and smooth, never letting me down.

SStehI’ve been to many big hotels, but this hotel really amazed me. The hallways are extremely spacious, and all the walkways from outside the elevator are carpeted. When you enter the room, it’s very large room even has a couch inside. The bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is also big and very clean. My child really enjoyed our stay because we saw a kids area to play when we were going to eat breakfast. The food was delicious, with several kinds of dishes and fresh fruit. I truly recommend this hotel.
