FFlorence KhoMercure Mactan went the extra mile to make us happy on our wedding anniversary. There was a cake waiting for us inside the room, and it was so delicious that we finished it right then and there. We were also upgraded to a seaview room which we appreciate a lot. All the staff were amazing - the server who was with us on the lift bring food for a guest, he told us about the amenities on the 3rd floor. The receptionist were amazing too, check in and check out was quick and everything we needed to know they made sure to tell us. Food was superb! Your pinakbet was my favorite. I would recommend Mercure to everyone I know.
GGuest UserThis is an 'one-island-one-hotel' concept, and the environment is beautiful. There are many activities to choose from on the island. We only stayed one day, but you could easily spend more days here and not run out of things to do. You can snorkel on both the east and west sides. On the west side, there are more local guides (outside of the hotel) who can take you snorkeling. Apparently, you can even spot baby sharks, though we didn't see any. Definitely don't arrive at the pier at the last minute for the boat to the island; make sure to get there early.
GGuest UserI love this place because it is a big property with many different parts and things to do. There really many pools, an aqua park, an inflatable island on a large pool, a game room, a bar, a restaurant, a souvenir shop (that also sells basic medicines and toiletry needs), bathrooms, a garden, the beach front. If you are a family with children of different ages and even if you have grandparents in tow, this would be perfect.
They’re not stingy with lounge chairs either and in one pool, you can play volleyball.
Their rooms are good sized and comes with a small ref, hair dryer, a carafe and free tea and coffee. Their breakfast buffet is awesome with sooo many food and drinks to choose from.
There is a BDO cash machine and their staff are very helpful and polite.
Grab food are not allowed to deliver at the lobby, they can only make it to the gate of the property and while it is not far to walk there, you can ask for free shuttle to bring you to the gate to claim your order and then back to the lobby.
They also take credit cards and water stations on each floor where you can refill your water bottles. There are 2 large water bottles in each room.
I think the one issue I have is - I perceived this resort to be family friendly because of the many kinds of activities for different ages but our rooms came with bathrooms that has glass wall where a person outside the bathroom can pull up the blinds. I mean, why? When I booked the rooms, it didn’t mention that the bathroom would be like that. I wish they would provide a distinction during booking so that people who don’t want bathrooms to be like that can avoid it.
GGuest UserWhat a fantastic experience! The room was spacious and clean, making for a very comfortable stay. Plus, the daily housekeeping was thorough and meticulous, so even on an extended stay, we felt refreshed every day. And the location, oh the location! Just like in the review photos, it boasts an ideal tropical paradise view. With a large pool and water slides, it's perfect for families with kids. The pool was also incredibly clean and comfortable, with staff diligently cleaning up debris early each morning. This is truly a wonderful hotel I'd recommend to everyone. All the staff members were bright and friendly. You absolutely have to check it out!
LLee YaroWe stayed at Seda during the weekend to celebrate valentine's day. Room stay was good, and we were allowed late check out at 1pm.
Gym is not big but good enough. Theres also a pool.
Location is good
Breakfast buffet could be better as food was quite oily.
All in all, would stay in Seda again if we return here in the future.
GGuest UserHad an amazing stay at Holiday Inn Cebu with my kids! It’s totally family-friendly—rooms are clean and very comfortable. The staff were so warm, polite, and always happy to help. My kids really enjoyed the pool and the meals were delicious too. Great location, easy to get around. We’ll definitely come back on our next trip to Cebu!
GGuest UserGreat place for sunsets! As for breakfast, don't set your expectations too high, it's just okay. The room was pretty clean, and while the pool is a bit small, it was fine for kids to play in. The beach right in front isn't really anything special, and I didn't even bother going because I heard it smelled.
AAnonymous UserLocation is great. It’s near the airport, near the beach, many restaurants and convenience stores around. However the cleanliness of the hotel has so much more to improve. Pillowcases smelled used, so I had it replaced. The duvet cover also has some nasty smell. They do not clean daily. And when they do, they don’t replace towels. They are nice when I’m asking for assistance, but clean sheets and pillows should be a standard and I shouldn’t ask for it pa. Their pool on the third floor is not that safe for children, as some of the tiles are quite lifted up, and it could cause small cut if you’re not careful. But their infinity pool near the beach is great, it’s big and clean. However, water there is expensive, so bring some with you if you decide to go.
RRica MaffieWe stayed mainly for the sky attraction.
Based on past reviews, I was worried about issues like no hot water, but the shower worked fine and the room exceeded my expectations for the price.
I would definitely like to stay again :)
TTreyExplorerAmazing staff! Great food, many pools, and brilliant atmosphere. I was in a newly renovated room.
Although the toilet seat definitely needed updating. The seat was damaged/old and needed replacing. I requested this two days in a row, and it wasn’t changed.
Other than the toilet seat issue, my stay was perfect.
