Beautiful place, it is very quiet and peaceful. I loved the sea viewđ. The room is very clean and spacious, very friendly staff, always there to help. Breakfast was very delicious, many options to choose from, this guest house is close to many restaurants and party places, this is a huge bonus, very convenient, I highly recommend. Whether you want a peaceful stay of you want to be out and about, this is definitely the right place to bookđâ¤ď¸

There was no wifi my entire trip. There is no excuse for this whatsoever! Way cheaper hotels can deliver on that promise in the slightest. As a remote worker, my business was jeopardized for the duration of my stay. Would definitely not recommend this unreliable hotel, especially if you're a remote worker. Staff service is not great either, they didn't attempt to fix the wifi or care that the entire hotel didn't have an internet connection.

My to go to hotel in Durban
This was my first time staying at the Royal Palms and enjoyed my stay and it was a very relaxing stay. Very close to any shopping venue you want. The rooms are special. I will invite my friends to visit this hotel in the future.
The hotel is ideally situated at the foot of Sani pass for those who want to take a trip to Lesotho. The hotel is absolutely charming with magnificent views and even a hike to a beautiful waterfall. The rooms are decently clean and spacious. The staff is extremely friendly. I would recommend if you are in the region for a couple of nights

The hotel is very good. It is considered very good in Durban. The facilities are very new, there is no strange smell, and the hygiene is also very good. The only complaint is that the breakfast is white rice, which is really not very appetizing. However, the service is very good.

A great hotel, like an apartment hotel, right on the seaside of Durban. The sea breeze is very comfortable while having breakfast. Breakfast is rich in variety. The disadvantage is that the air conditioner in the room is relatively loud. I had to turn off the air conditioner when sleeping, and be mentally prepared for intermittent power outages.

GGuest UserFirst the positives: the location is very beautiful, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean, and the staff are friendly. I was able to order dinner at the restaurant which was tasty. The location is also safe.
Cons: this BnB serves as a wedding venue (which is exquisite); however, the BnB should not allow private individuals to book a room if there is a wedding going on. I chose this BnB to be close to the airport but didnât get a wink of sleep as the wedding party carried on into the early hours and the rooms were not soundproof at all.
I especially booked this BnB as it advertised that it had an airport shuttle. However, I was disappointed to learn that actually the BnB itself does not do this - they call a shuttle service which charges a ridiculous R600 for a 20 minute ride to the airport!
GGuest UserThis place is a franchise so I was expecting way more, we travelled here off peak season in the middle of the month. Our needs were never accommodated from the beginning due to poor management and ridiculous rules. We asked to be upgraded to a sea view room because the hotel was empty they lied and said itâs full. I asked to be assisted organizing a romantic picnic on the beach, they offered assistance but made me wait a ridiculous amount of time so I left it out they were reluctant to help me all services require a huge wait time, even simple things. The staff were polite however and tried to help they were governed by unaccommodating rules. The access to the beach was the best part. The breakfast was also good. Will never return!
GGuest UserWe arrived late and had some trouble getting in the gate but as soon as I emailed and my husband honked the gates opened. We were greeted at the door and were helped with our bags. Was a beautiful home and we were in a double room for me my husband my step daughter her fiancĂŠ and one year old daughter so a bit squishy but slept the night very well in comfy beds. We had to leave early and they let me use their kitchen to make smoothies for my husband and I. My step daughter and her little family stayed for the breakfast which they enjoyed, very sweet little dining room, lovely communal areas to gather in. We found ourselves the only ones using these. Would be very happy to return if ever passing through the bay again.

GGuest UserThis is the one of the best hotel of my trip in SA. The swimming pool is amazing and fantastic. The view is also very well.
I stayed in South Africa for 1 month and stayed in 10 different hotels. This one is really imprrssive. And I have view the best moon in my lives. I think I am even willing to cross half of the earth to stay there again. The room is not bad. But the disadvantage is the attitude of the receptionist and the professionalism of the restaurant staff are not good enough. Delayed the hotel's progress.
TT-MarkI recently had the pleasure of staying at The Capital Zimbali, and it was a fantastic experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. The location is perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions. The breakfast was delicious, offering a great variety of options. Overall, I highly recommend The Capital Zimbali and would definitely stay here again.
