Whenever I'm in Vienna and need to stay overnight near the airport, I usually pick this hotel. The rooms aren't huge, but it's super close to the airport. There's an underground tunnel that leads directly to the airport, though I couldn't find the exit from the airport side. However, if you cross a small road from the hotel, you can spot it easily.

The room is quite spacious and clean. You just need to take a taxi to get to the city, and if you take the train, you need to take a taxi or walk for 30 minutes. The surrounding landscape is a typical Viennese suburban landscape.

On this trip to the Wachau Valley in Austria, I chose to stay in the small town of Krems. Set on a hillside between the vineyards, this 4-star hotel is a great choice for relaxing, enjoying nature and food completely, not far from the city.

A modern living space is built in a historic building. The front desk was very intimate and helped us book the hotel dinner when we checked in, because the restaurants in the town were closed after 6 o'clock.
