Professional and pleasant staff. Every one of the service providers at the hotel is smiling and happy to help. The room was very clean, and the bed very comfortable. The shower is great. Breakfast is rich and varied from most of the hotels I have been to. There is paid parking at the hotel. The lobby is also very comfortable for sitting with a computer and working. Great value for money!

Just a few steps away from the funicluar which departs every few minutes from the train station. This hotel is a favorite of ours for the great service, friendly staff and wonderful breakfast. The rooms are very confortable and clean but pretty small. We knew this going into making our reservations for 2 double plus rooms; otherwise, we would have been very suprised. The location of the hotel makes visiting the lake and surrounding areas very easy. We enjoyed a day boating around and visiting the Chapel in Morcote. Be sure to get the Ticeno Card (which can be obtained at the hotel) for added savings; the card is free.

I had a big room with a view of the lake. Super comfortable bed. Good quiet air-conditioning. Lights, curtains all magically controlled from a dashboard near your pillow. The digital check-in needn't scare you as the friendly owner is present to help. It's five minutes' walk from a family beach on the lake, and there's plenty of very cheap parking nearby. A five-minute drive from Locarno and its restaurants, this is the ideal studio-hotel for total peace and quiet while you visit the sights of Ticino. No breakfast or official reception, but the owner is always around and is full of good advice about what to see. Free drinks in the fridge. A perfect holiday base.

Ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante da un rientro dalle vacanze. Noi viaggiamo solo con i mezzi pubblici e questo meraviglioso angolo si trova a pochi minuti dalla stazione di Airolo, quindi molto comodo. Lo chef Luca Brughelli e le sue collaboratrici hanno saputo subito metterci a nostro agio con la loro gentilezza, GRAZIE! Abbiamo mangiato delle tagliatelle al nero…di carbone, con zucca e lenticchie con uno strepitoso olio d’oliva. Come secondo un biancostato cotto sottovuoto e in seguito grigliato… morbidezza totale, con contorno di verdure di stagione. Dessert molto particolare, semifreddo all’assenzio con sorbetto di cavolo rosso, geniale! Formaggi dell’alpe ottimi. Carta dei vini con una grande scelta. Hanno anche camere per chi vuole prolungare l’esperienza turistico-culinaria. Ci ritorneremo!

would like to inform you that I was subjected to a disrespectful attitude by the receptionist, which is completely unacceptable and disrespectful, and contains unacceptable racism. On Friday night 1 September at 23:35, I went to buy a bottle of water and they are people in reception. I asked them for permission to pass before them, so they smiled at me welcoming, but the receptionist refused to pass me and asked me in an unkind way to wait . There was another woman waiting, and after the customer finished his check in, the woman looked at me and allowed me to pass before her because it was only a bottle of water, but the receptionist shouted at me and refused to pass my order with bad way!!! . I left the water and he insisted that I wait even though the woman repeated her words and told him that she allowed me to pass because it was a bottle of water... I strongly object to this inappropriate attitude of your employee..

The hotel is very good. The room is quite large, suitable for family travel, there are not many varieties of breakfast, but the taste is not bad. The hotel's swimming pool is quite suitable for children. The lake at the entrance of the hotel is beautiful, the scenery is very good, and it is very comfortable to go out for a walk. The only downside is that it is far from the famous attractions in Switzerland, and Grindwa and Interlaken are still much more beautiful.

My family and I recently stayed at the Hotel Dell’ Angelo in Locarno. I was accompanied by my medical assistance dog. I was disappointed to find out that the hotel charged me a pet fee even though I explained that my dog is a medical assistance dog and was willing to show the clerk my government issued service dog ID from my home province British Columbia in Canada as well as the attached info which was issued by Hotellerie Swiss. The clerk was quite rude and didn’t want to see either and just handed me a business card and told me to email the manager/owner of the hotel. After my return to Canada I sent an email to the hotel and included the attached info and also sent a message via Facebook, but over a month later I still haven’t heard back. CHF12 isn’t a huge deal for one night, but that can add up quickly if staying at a hotel for several nights. Assistance dogs are considered medical equipment and aren’t pets. They are needed to help a person with a disability. Apart from the pet charge and the rude front desk person, we had a good stay. Restaurant staff was friendly and the food was good. Location is great as well. The rooms are tiny and old-fashioned, but I guess for the price you can’t expect more. Soap and facecloths in the room would have been nice.

A luxury hotel with an ancient style, good maintenance in a public area, we stayed in the ancient building, a clean room but furniture needs updating. Breakfast is a wonderful meal but without vegetables, very limited for such a luxury hotel, the staff is great, we had dinner not so special for the prices.

The hotel is opposite the train station, so it is very convenient to travel, the room is clean. Although the size is not very large, it is comfortable to live with air conditioning, we go to the summer, it is a bit comfortable, the shower in the bathroom is strong and the temperature of the warm water is well controlled. If you want to buy things at the train station, there is Coop, which is open 6-22 a.m. It's easy to walk to find food. Overall, I really like the location here.
