Visiting Dunhuang during the off-season was such a great idea! This hotel is fantastic. The room is quite spacious, and the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, with plenty of hot water. The air conditioning is strong, and the hairdryer has good power. The slippers provided aren't cheap; they're very non-slip, and the toothbrushes are soft-bristled. The towels are also good quality and don't shed. The hotel offers unlimited complimentary coffee, water, and even some floral teas that you can DIY in the lobby. The breakfast is also quite substantial. Every staff member is very enthusiastic. They also offer an airport pick-up service; on the day I arrived, they picked me up alone. Plus, the hotel gave me a free ticket for a West Line day tour and a windproof magic scarf, which I found incredibly useful because I hadn't realized how windy and dusty it gets there. Wearing a mask felt stuffy, so this scarf was perfect. I think the price was double the off-season rate, but the location is excellent, just a bit ahead of the night market, and the decor is quite new. The only slight downsides are: it seems to have smart voice control, but I didn't know what the smart voice was called. It would be great if they could add a smart voice prompt. Also, the bedding was a bit rough, but the duvet was goose down, very light and soft. The soundproofing is okay; you can still hear people if they're talking very loudly next door or in the hallway. Seriously, visiting Dunhuang in the off-season is truly wonderful! Oh, and there are two super cute cats in the hotel, and the pickled cabbage buns for breakfast were delicious!

The hotel's location is convenient, with easy access to transportation, making getting around hassle-free. After half a month of traveling, this is by far the most comfortable place I've stayed. The decor has its own unique style, not like those generic hotels you see everywhere. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the lighting and little trinkets. Plus, all the amenities work perfectly and are super convenient – everything you need is there. The shower has great water pressure, the hairdryer is effective, and the Wi-Fi is incredibly fast. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and bright. It's perfect whether you're relaxing in or heading out to explore. For this price, getting all these perks is truly amazing value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next summer.

Although the hotel is a bit pricey, it offers good value for money. It's clean and odorless. The staff are all very warm, attentive, and polite, always with a pleasant smile that brightens your day. There's not much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, but the loft where breakfast is served has a beautiful, elegant atmosphere. Both the sunrise and sunset views from there are stunning. The only downside is that you have to climb stairs to reach the loft, so those with mobility issues will miss out on these beautiful sights.

Perhaps because I stayed for four consecutive nights, I was upgraded directly to an executive twin room upon check-in. It was on a very high floor and, as per my request, didn't face the main street, but I could still see Zhangye West Station from there. It's incredibly close to the West Station. Every day, they provided snacks, two oranges, and yogurt, though the yogurt's expiration date was a bit close. Breakfast is on the first floor, and the hot dishes were different every day during my stay. They also had specialty beef noodles and 'beef small rice' (牛肉小饭), so there was no need to go elsewhere for those. The lobby also offered complimentary packed hot coffee and snacks every morning. Finally, at check-out, they provided a complimentary car service to Zhangye West Station, and everyone's service attitude was superb. The minor drawbacks were: the soundproofing in the room was a bit poor; I could clearly hear next door when they moved things or chairs; and the hair in the bathroom wasn't cleaned daily. Otherwise, everything else was excellent.

Paired with hot, crispy fried dough sticks, it was pure bliss! ☕️ **Picture-Perfect Afternoon Tea** - We enjoyed afternoon tea on the terrace, soaking up the sun with my partner. We ordered fruit tea and small cakes 🍰 – the fruit was fresh and juicy, and the cakes were perfectly sweet without being cloying. - Sipping tea while looking at the distant mountain views, all the fatigue from our journey melted away. Zhangye isn't a large city, so staying near the West High-Speed Rail Station is convenient. It's mostly residential around here, so the environment is generally quiet. Taxis are easy to find, and it's only a couple of kilometers to the city center, costing a very cheap six or seven yuan. The only minor drawback is that you have to walk a bit with your luggage after getting off the high-speed train. I'd recommend just taking a taxi directly. After a terrible stay in Dunhuang for the first two nights, I really put my trust in an international brand, and the management level is completely different. Hampton Inn isn't luxurious, but it has everything you need. Plus, the hotel is new, the soundproofing is excellent, and you can choose a memory foam pillow, which is great for people with neck problems. Also, the laundry room is fantastic! It started snowing in the morning and my pants and clothes got wet, but I was able to wash and dry them immediately after going back at noon, which was incredibly practical! Because I had a late flight, the front desk allowed me a late check-out, which was great. There's bottled water available on every floor, and plenty of seating in the lobby on the first floor, so you don't have to worry about lingering, and charging is convenient. The breakfast is decent, and considering it's around 300 yuan a night, it's quite reasonable. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this hotel and highly recommend it for anyone staying in Zhangye.

Our stay was excellent. We arrived at night, very tired after a long journey, and were warmly and efficiently welcomed. The room was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The service provided by all the staff—from reception to housekeeping and the breakfast area—was consistently kind and professional. A great advantage was the self-service laundry facilities, which allowed us to wash our clothes conveniently. Another highlight was the varied buffet breakfast: everything was fresh and delicious, and we truly enjoyed it—trying a few new dishes for the first time! The location is outstanding, just across from the station. We would gladly stay here again without hesitation and will certainly recommend it.

This time, we took a road trip and stayed at the NUO Hotel here. The overall service was surprisingly good... I initially thought it would be an older, more dated hotel, but the environment was actually incredibly clean. It's quite impressive how well they maintain such cleanliness. The hotel also has an underground parking garage, which is free and perfect for those driving. The room facilities are very well-maintained, and importantly, the restaurant floor was spotless, not sticky at all, and the tableware on the tables was neat and clean. The hotel's fourth floor connects directly to a shopping mall, making dining and shopping extremely convenient. The service attitude was also genuinely great – not overly intrusive, but also not neglectful, just perfectly balanced. Plus, the overall room rate was very reasonable. I had a really excellent impression! Hope they keep up the great work!

The hotel is in a great location, right next to the Yellow River and Marathon Park. The scenery is beautiful, and the geraniums blooming outside the hotel's Western restaurant really put me in a good mood! The warm greeting from the cleaning lady in the lobby made me feel like home. The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy, with a beautiful view of the Yellow River. The breakfast was also hearty, and the bowl of Lanzhou ramen was especially satisfying!
