LIANGSU LS Hotel Yangshuo Review (April 2026 – Family Stay, 270° Family Panorama Room, 55 sqm)
Pros:
1. The hotel staff reach out via WeChat even before arrival, promptly addressing any questions or special requests about your stay.
2. The property consists of several buildings with distinct designs, most of which appear newly built.
3. Rooms are clean and equipped with modern control systems.Rooms are spacious and generally well-maintained, with excellent outdoor views depending on your booking. The air conditioning is user-friendly and easy to adjust.
4. Food-wise, breakfast offers a decent variety but remains the same daily. The restaurant (for lunch, dinner, or room service via QR ordering) serves high-quality dishes at reasonable prices, though the menu is somewhat limited. Afternoon tea and evening desserts can be delivered to your room—the evening soup dessert is especially good. Complimentary canned drinks are replenished daily. Overall, you won’t go hungry even if you choose to stay in the hotel instead of going out.
5. Enjoy stunning mountain and field views while having breakfast. The open outdoor area is beautifully designed, facing the mountains, and includes a mini farm, swings, photo spots, and swimming pools.
6. Staff are friendly and helpful, though quite strict—they consistently check if guests are registered when returning from outings.
7. A complimentary 30-minute photography session is included, with a professional photographer. The hotel also has a well-equipped studio and a selection of outfits to choose from.
Cons:
1. The bathroom could be improved—there were some visible hairs on the floor, and there are no hooks for hanging clothes outside of the rack inside the shower area.

Check-in was on the 13th floor, which is also where the afternoon tea, *luosifen* (snail noodles), and coffee are served – basically everything is on the 13th floor.
I booked a king-sized bed on the 9th floor. As shown in picture 1, the view was quite nice, but the room was a bit small. Since I was with my elderly parents and wanted a bathtub, I asked the butler if we could switch to a twin room on the 3rd floor. As shown in picture 2, the view wasn't as good as on the 9th floor, but the room was much more spacious, which was great.
Room facilities: Smart features, with a TV that can cast from your devices, and a smart toilet.
Cleanliness: Very good and clean.
Service: Upon arrival, the concierge helped us with our luggage and took us to the 13th floor. The front desk lady added me on WeChat and provided excellent service, helping us switch to a bigger room. When we went out, we asked for amenities to be left in the room, and they provided quite a lot. I got motion sickness and threw up in the sink at night. The front desk lady had an auntie come to clean, and she wasn't at all impatient, saying it was no problem. She cleaned it very thoroughly, which was wonderful! I was feeling too unwell to help my parents with the self-service laundry, but even late at night, the front desk lady was still available and came to assist. The next day, a robot delivered the items to our room door.
Overall, the stay was quite good. Due to my health, I threw up several times at night, so I only had some fruit for breakfast. Breakfast: Generally enough to fill you up, but not many drink options. I mainly wanted iced orange juice, haha.
Special thanks to 😍😍: The concierge, the front desk lady, and the housekeeping auntie! The front desk lady in picture 9 was amazing! I hope her boss gives her a bonus! 🍗
1) This hotel is literally situated on the China-Vietnam border. From my room window, I could see Vietnam, and the front desk even warned me that if I had an iPhone, it might pick up signals from the neighboring country and my time zone could change. The rooftop observation deck offers an even better view of the border scenery, encompassing both Dongxing in China and Mong Cai in Vietnam.
2) When I booked on Trip.com, I specifically requested a non-smoking room, and the hotel front desk truly delivered! The floor and room were genuinely free of any secondhand smoke. Honestly, in a fourth-tier city in (what is arguably the world's number one country for secondhand smoke), this was a rare and pleasant surprise.
3) It's quite close to the Dongxing Port, just a 5-minute walk away.
If you want to experience the charm of a border town right from your room, and if you appreciate clean room facilities and fresh, natural air, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I really have to commend the service here. They're incredibly responsive and practically anticipate your needs, always proactively thinking about what guests might require. The staff's attitude is also exceptionally good. In a humid climate, it's hard to completely avoid that slightly damp smell, but all visible areas were spotless. The facilities are quite new, and there are plenty of elevators so you rarely have to wait. The location is very convenient for getting around, and there are many night markets and street food nearby, making it perfect for tourists. I was traveling with a friend, and we added an extra bed. The extra bed is only suitable for smaller individuals, but it was quite comfortable. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the food tastes good. I especially enjoyed the Guilin rice noodles. The room was spacious and attractive; it didn't feel cramped even with three of us. The hotel seems to be the tallest building in the area, offering excellent views. The night view was particularly beautiful. It was a wonderful trip, and I'll likely choose this hotel again next time I visit.

The Lijiang Lottel Hotel was an amazing experience! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to Elephant Trunk Hill, and it's super convenient for exploring the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area and East-West Alley. The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, with complete and comfortable facilities. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and they even proactively offered practical Guilin travel tips and detailed directions. Great value for money, staying here made my Guilin trip easy and comfortable. Highly recommended!

The hotel facilities are complete and the overall cleanliness is excellent. The service is great, and the lobby environment is very pleasant. The staff are warm and attentive, especially the front desk, who were incredibly enthusiastic and even helped with an upgrade. I had a very satisfying stay, and overall, it offers great value for money. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance.

Traveling through Baise on my trip to Yunnan, I saw Wyndham in my search results and it looked good, so I booked a king room to share with a friend. It was a bit quiet and empty when we checked in, but all the staff at the front desk were very welcoming and warm. It really brightened up my tiring journey! 😊 They even specifically gave us a room with a great view and location. The room itself was really spacious, and the bed was wide enough for two people to sleep comfortably, and super soft! There's an indoor heated pool and gym on the second floor, both free to use. The only downside is that there's no self-service laundry, but I heard the hotel is planning to add it. If I come back, I hope that service will be available – that would make it perfect! It's also very close to shopping areas. This place is great for a slow-paced, relaxing life. Highly recommend! 🥳
The room was spacious and clean, the ambiance was great, and the service was good. It might be due to the humid climate here, with several rain showers a day, but the room had a slightly damp smell. Airing it out for a bit by opening the window fixed it. However, the bathroom wasn't thoroughly cleaned and had a distinct urine smell. I had booked a room that included two adult dinner buffets. I was traveling with a ten-year-old and a six-year-old child, and they insisted I purchase an additional ticket for them. This was quite frustrating, especially since the children wouldn't have eaten much anyway, and it negatively impacted my overall experience.

I genuinely recommend this high-rise hotel. The service throughout my stay was excellent, and the front desk handled check-in efficiently, even kindly explaining nearby attractions. They were always on hand to help with any requests, which was very thoughtful. The room had great natural light, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning city views, creating a fantastic atmosphere at night. The bedding was soft and the hygiene was top-notch. Plus, the location is very convenient. It was an incredibly good value for money experience.

Our stay at Nanning Marriott was excellent! The location is superb, right above a shopping mall with plenty of dining options. The suite's sofa and bed were both huge, and the two sofas could easily double as beds. The breakfast spread was extensive and definitely five-star standard.
This trip involved a large family, and we booked six rooms. We were given great room types and views. Even though two or three rooms were on different floors, we were provided with extra key cards, which made visiting each other's rooms very convenient. A special thanks to Rita and Arthur at the front desk for their genuine thoughtfulness towards guests. We had booked a suite for one day and two executive twin rooms for the following days, but they upgraded us directly to suites for the entire duration, saving us the hassle of changing rooms. We were extremely satisfied with their service. Sally and the housekeeping staff also provided fantastic service.

It was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The hotel is impeccable, from arrival till departure. Up front the hotel contacts you to ensure everything is running smoothly during the stay. Even though I din’t speak Chinese the team went out of their way to ensure our arrival was easy and fast. They arranged for a pick up at the train station. Arriving at the hotel the views are stunning, the well kept garden with pool and the mountains in the background make it seem unreal. The hotel is a boutique style hotel, lots of wood and natural materials which make it cozy and comfortable. We were greeted by Mr Wong’s excellent team and check in was fast and easy. As we arrived during tea time we were offered to have high tea once we settled and were brought to the room. The room!!!! Oh my, absolutely stunning, spacious, comfortable, clean and equipped with high end appliances. I could go on and on about the delicious breakfast, comfy slippers, location and all but you have to experiences this hotel. Mr Wong, the owner even took the time to have a tea ceremony with us. His passion and love for his hotel is visible in every detail. I will definitely be back if I have the chance. Thank you for an incredible stay!

Extremely friendly staff and they definitely out preformed and went the extra miles to welcome their guests! The electric scooter rental is great and the price is also good. Location is beautiful, stunning, magnificent and breathtaking! You cannot go wrong with the view in this location and what this hotel has to offer you. There are also many attractions and view points in the location. Breakfast had a nice touch to it and you get a few options, mainly western but also their local noodle dish which you can have for breakfast a great way to experience a different culture. If you need to do laundry then they have the facilities for you to do so. Over all I would come back for sure.
Such a heaven ❤️ I enjoyed every minute of my stay. The location is really something. The view, the accessibility to sights, the staff is very attentive, morning yoga, the spa is something! Breakfasts! Also the photoshoot included. If I ever come back to Yangshuo, I definitely choose this hotel again❤️
Upgraded us to a higher floor with an amazing 180° panaromic view, which was truly our highlight ! Nice spacious bathroom with good amenities. The portion of room service was generous and enjoyable. The front desk was professional and super helpful in taking care of all our needs. Though the furnishing of the room is a bit worn out but it was clean and didn't affect our stay at all. Enjoy our stay, and we will consider staying here if we visit Nanning again

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Guilin. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with everything well-maintained. One of the highlights was the stunning view of the mountains right from the room—it really made the experience extra special. The location is excellent, close to many of the main attractions in Guilin, which made sightseeing very convenient. The breakfast was fresh and tasty with a nice variety of options to start the day. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made me feel right at home. Overall, this hotel is a perfect choice for anyone visiting Guilin. Great views, great service, and a great location—I would definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! Firstly the hotel is very conveniently located at the foot of the elephant hill, so despite the rain we could see the elephant hill from the windows of our room without going outside and getting wet. The hotel also very kindly upgraded our room so we had a great time drinking tea and watching the sunrise and sunset from our room. Bed was also very comfortable, and minibar is free which is a huge plus! Hotel breakfast was also delicious and they served local delicacies such as 桂林米粉. We were lucky to spend Christmas morning in the hotel so there was a Santa Claus dressed up and giving away treats to all the hotel guests, really nice touch. Coffee is also good. Lastly, the service staff are fantastic. 小诗 was extremely attentive, enthusiastic and responsive to our requests (borrowing umbrella, nail clippers, refilling the mini bar, housekeeping etc), and the butler team is available 24/7 on WeChat. Overall the experience was wonderful and we would definitely be back to stay with them again!! Highly recommended to couples and families travelling to Guilin
