This hotel was excellent! Location in city center made getting around very easy. The room was clean and aesthetically pleasing! The bed was a bit hard but not uncomfortable to sleep on. The staff were friendly and accommodating at all times. They even allowed us to store our luggage after checking out, which made our city adventures more convenient. There was a good variety of food for breakfast, both Chinese and Western Style. Overall very impressed! Thanks for a memorable stay!

Good location, friendly and nice personal, bright and big room, clean. But rooms doesn't have a good isolation, in the morning heart kids from some other room and at night music from somewhere. When checked in room I didn't find a tooth brush and comb, but they were given to us when we just asked.

Location is great as it is only a step away to the famous bridge to see part of north korea. The weather was humid and hot during our stay but the ac in the rooms werent cold enough so none of us slept well. The staff service weren’t really great when we asked to cool it down. Very disappointed as they probably could treat us foreigners better when it comes to service

I loved my stay there, it was so relaxing. It’s near to the night market but a bit far from downtown but we didn’t mind that as we rented the car from the airport that made everything super easy for us. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay then it’s a great choice.

good location in front of the airport, you can book hotel shuttle bus from airport to hotel or walk through the car park .good service,polite,honest,i left my credid card in the room after 2 days i call reception ,i turn out it had beed saved. thank you.

This hostel was great in Shenyang. Some of the rooms are a bit small if you have a lot of luggage but they kindly switched us to a bigger one so that we had more space. There is a coffee shop downstairs which is great to work in. The location is really convenient and there is a night market on the next street every evening. Would definitely stay here again!

Is a nice hotel, with a bunch of available services. Was a pity they don't have a biguer room or family rooms available , so we get a tween room, that was fine also. Restaurant is good, breakfast have a good varaiaty of food . Location is great, not far for many interesting places in the city.

Other room types may be good, but this room type is very average. It feels like a corner room. There are no gauze curtains. I want some natural light but no privacy. Other facilities are normal. The TV is really big. The disadvantage is that the WiFi in the room is not differentiated. Often It's because I don't know where to cast my screen, or someone else's screen is cast to the TV in my room. Oh, and more importantly, there are many people and few elevators. There are only two elevators that can go to the first floor. It's due to maintenance. , it takes a long time to wait for the elevator. If you are in a hurry, you will be really anxious.

The Dalian shopping mall opposite has a full range of shopping and dining options at moderate prices. The boss is warm and considerate. Although the room is not big, it has complete facilities and is clean and tidy. The service staff has a good attitude. All in all, it is a hotel apartment worth recommending!

Hotel Nikko is a throwback to the 1990's. It is well maintained and very comfortable hotel. In fact, I moved from another 5 star hotel to this one mid weekend. The decor is a little dated, BUT of the 3 hotels in downtown Dalian that I have used over this last year I think Nikko is my favorite. Their service is excellent. The food is good. (Breakfast is great and the Japanese restaurant is good) The atmosphere of the hotel is very nice and upscale. I like that there is a Lawson's near the lobby, in the adjoining office/apartment building. When I called to request they lower the temperature in my room, they said they could not adjust the thermostat; however, they did offer me a fan. Within 5 minutes housekeeping brought a very nice standing fan which worked great. My next trip downtown I think I'll start with Hotel Nikko.

This is an honest review that is not meant to dissuade anyone but to offer a thorough unbiased review. My opinion of New World before my stay was that it was a 5 star hotel, it certainly wasn't horrible, but after my stay and comparing to other Dalian hotels in its league that I've stayed in, think it doesn't fit the bill for a 5 star hotel. I can't complain about the service, Check in was swift and we got a free room upgrade and spa coupons, but the hotel room carpet was stained, there was dust in some places and the furniture and room amenities are aging, slightly dated and need to be improved (I didn't feel the need to zoom in on those issues so the pictures wont reflect this) . I loved that there were lovely art pieces throughtout the hotel and the fitness centre was top notch especially the heated pool. The breakfast buffet had fewer options than expected for a hotel of that standard but it was honestly delicious and satisfactory, they had both Chinese and Western dishes, fruit and cereal. The waitresses from Guo restaurant had the best service they went out of their way to make our dinner pleasant. The most disconcerting issue I had with New World was that the room deposit refund took longer than I've ever experienced, I found it highly unusual and somewhat disappointing because I've stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels and usually the refund is instant but they told us it would take up to 3 days. Maybe this is standard practice for them but it made no sense to me and I've never had to wait that long. In any case surely it doesn't take 3 days to check a room!

This hotel has great location, walking distance from Shenyang Station and close to subway. The staff are very friendly, brought me coffee while I was waiting to check in. The room looks a little bit dated, but everything works and it’s clean. Breakfast is nice and offers a wide selection of food, again the staff at the cafe are very well trained. For the price, the hotel is indeed a pleasant surprise.l

The location is very convenient, near Shenyang Railway Station and near the pedestrian street. The staff can speak English and they are very welcoming! The room basically has got everything that you might need inside and it’s also very clean! I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will come back for sure 👍🏼

Jody at the front desk was professional and friendly. The bathtub was the best thing about our stay and the fact that it's pet friendly. The breakfast is advertised as ”International” but nothing is even remotely on an international standard, bland, mediocre and poorly managed. It is listed as RMB85 but is more in a RMB30-40 range. The restaurant staff is not professional. They should be able to help guests that aren't on the prepaid list without making a scene. Using the spa facilities was a bit of a mission. You have to phone reception and then they send a staff member to the spa desk. Everything is turned off so it takes a while to heat up. The jacuzzi was a bit cold and not that enjoyable. The sauna was awesome. Only one elevator was working (out of three) so expect to wait between 5 and 10 minutes each time.

Great location right next to the shenyang station. The room was clean and suited our needs with two single beds. However, the bathroom door is just a swinging door with gaps so that anyone passing by the door can see you in it and as it is right next to the room door it could be a bit awkward if you someone needs to open the room door while someone is using the bathroom.

Even the booking show the room is non smoking, however the room is smoking permitted and the room has smoking smell. Pls update the booking description accordingly. And there is no transport service from the hotel to the terminal. We need to drag the luggage for 500meters while the floor was covered by snow. It was very cold and slippery.

I had an exceptional stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Dandong, China. From the moment we checked in, Coco provided exemplary service, making our arrival smooth and welcoming. The room was not only nice but impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. What truly set this experience apart was the breathtaking view of North Korea from our room, offering a unique and memorable perspective. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and unforgettable views.

Pros: quite clean. The beds are pretty comfortable and they give spring water from Changbai mountain instead of filtered bottle water. You can oversee North Korea from the window. Cons: bathroom made me quite speechless. The fact that the shower and toilet are in the same space was less of an issue, but the set up is like a public shower in China and it's not the most comfortable place to get ready. Towels were clean but very old. Only one light in the room and the only switch is by the door. They need a bit of a renovation asap.

Room was excellent. Breakfast was okay but not amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again if we come back. The executive room was perfect for a family with 2 adults and 4 children. I had requested a non-smoking room and they gave me one. It did not smell smoky at all.

The hotel was great value for money. The pool was great and the gym was very well equipped. It is located right next to the Wanda Plaza, so food and shopping was a quick walk away.
