Super efficient pick-up service- appreciate the speediness as our flight landed in the wee hours of the morning. Great location being close to the airport for us to rest up. There are multiple dedicated check in porches which provides a private check-in service. Room and bedsheets are clean, with the pillows being super comfortable as a plus! Strongly recommended! :)

We love the free laundry service, the hotel staff sent our washed and dried clothes to our rooms the next morning. All towels were sealed in bags to ensure cleanliness. We were served honey drinks immediately when the staff met us at the counter. The rooms we booked were spacious. The location is definitely excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is located right in the city center, with a lively pedestrian street and plenty of great food options downstairs. The halal beef pancakes right outside are delicious and always have a long queue! If you turn right out of the hotel and pass Nanning Street, you'll reach Shuncheng Shopping Mall, which boasts numerous restaurants. The Wuyi Road metro station is also right next to it. You can easily walk to Cuihu Park and several other pedestrian streets from the hotel, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, including local Yunnan specialties like Er'si and rice noodles. The hotel maintains the high standards of Sheraton (Marriott), and the room facilities are excellent. The lovely front desk staff even upgraded my room and gave me a fruit platter. My room on the 28th floor offered expansive city views. For transportation to Kunming Station, if you're in a hurry, I'd recommend a taxi as there might not be a direct metro line due to the complex underground structure of the old city. One suggestion I have is to place ashtrays (or poles) outside the entrance. This would prevent guests who step out to smoke from a non-smoking hotel from littering cigarette butts.

Highly recommend the InterContinental Xishuangbanna Resort! The entire hotel is a massive tropical garden, with lush greenery and traditional Dai-style architecture everywhere. Every step is a scenic view, and it's incredibly pleasant for walks and photos. It's a perfect experience for families with kids, with excellent child-friendly facilities. There's a water park, kids' club, peacock feeding, and numerous rice paddy activities. The children played from morning till night and didn't want to leave. The dining options are extensive, with a wide variety at breakfast, including special kids' meals, which made the little ones very happy and satisfied. The service is thoughtful and attentive. It's truly the top choice for a family vacation with kids. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Xishuangbanna!

This hotel is a hidden gem! I booked a special offer room, and they assigned us a cave-themed room. My girlfriend absolutely loved it, and it was perfect for photos. The service was excellent, with free airport pickup and complimentary breakfast. The room even had coffee and Pu'er tea, and it was immaculately clean. The only minor thing is that there's no window, but with the air conditioning and fresh air system, it wasn't an issue at all. The room was very quiet. Downstairs, there are electric scooter rentals, a supermarket, and all sorts of local eateries. Highly recommend!

The overall experience exceeded my expectations; everything was impeccable. The environmental hygiene was exceptionally well-maintained. The lobby was clean, bright, and odor-free, and the guest room felt fresh the moment I walked in. The floors and bathroom countertops were spotless, the bedding was soft and tidy, and there was no dust accumulation in the corners. The toiletries were neatly arranged, and after opening the window for ventilation, the air felt fresh, making my stay very comfortable and reassuring. The hotel facilities were complete and well-maintained. The air conditioning and hot water supply were stable, the internet was smooth, and the bathroom water pressure was ample. The lighting and power outlets were thoughtfully arranged, and the vanity and wardrobe offered sufficient space. The seating in the lounge area was comfortable, and all facilities were new and undamaged, providing an excellent user experience. I must particularly commend the service. The front desk staff were warm and courteous, and check-in was fast and efficient. Staff members would greet me proactively when passing by, and they responded quickly to any requests with patience and attention to detail. The directions for travel and parking were clear, and the service was attentive and thoughtful throughout. Clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and with heartwarming service, this hotel offers great value for money. I will definitely choose this place again for my next trip. Highly recommended!

Five stars, highly recommended! This is an old, established state guesthouse in Kunming that you absolutely must stay at. Its heritage, views, and service are all top-notch. The location is unbeatable, directly facing Cuihu Park. Open the French windows and you're greeted with lake views and weeping willows. In autumn and winter, you can even spot red-billed gulls. Yunnan University and the Yunnan Military Academy are within walking distance, making it convenient for exploring the old city without much travel. The hotel's design was partly conceived by I.M. Pei, blending new Chinese style with retro Art Deco. The lobby's gilded lotus sculpture, rosewood carvings, and vintage staircase create an incredible ambiance. The gardens are tranquil and elegant, and every photo you take captures the unique, understated elegance of a historic five-star hotel. Service is gentle, understated, and perfectly balanced, never intrusive. Upon check-in, guests receive fresh flowers and welcome fruits, and the room is refreshed daily with Yunnan-style floral arrangements. Turndown service includes peach gum and white fungus soup, along with seagull-shaped cookies – thoughtful details that truly shine. The 24-hour butler service is on-call, and staff members politely greet guests, always professional and sincere. The room comfort exceeded expectations. The bedding is soft and plush, and the soundproofing is excellent. During the dry season, the whole-house humidity control system is a lifesaver, especially for those with allergies. The bathroom features a built-in TV in the bathtub and electric privacy glass. All mini-bar drinks are complimentary, and there's even freshly ground Yunnan small-grain coffee, adding a distinct local touch. Breakfast is served in the lake-view restaurant, offering a rich variety of authentic dishes, including freshly prepared Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles, 'posu bao' (flaky steamed buns), and rose 'naiba Jiu' (a local milky wine). Dining by the lake creates an exceptional atmosphere. The accompanying heated pool is clean and uncrowded, perfect for relaxation. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is perfectly suited. I hesitated for a long time before I went to Feilai Temple. I didn't know if I should live in the foggy top or Feilai Temple. I finally considered that there may be fog in the rainy season in Yunnan. I chose this Feilai Temple hotel and looked forward to seeing part of the snowy mountains. In addition, there is also a factor to choose here. I want to avoid a problem in many hotels in Feilai Temple. It is a bit of an eye-catching crane in the scenery. Living here far exceeds expectations. First of all, there will be a thoughtful and intimate service. There will be a housekeeper who will pick us up. Sister, help us with our luggage, I drove the car from the station to the hotel quickly. The fruit plate was very fresh and the raisins were delicious! In the afternoon, I went to the hotel to eat afternoon tea and watch the scenery. As the clouds flow, I really saw the snow-capped mountains. I was so lucky! The hotel also has a complimentary photo service, three photos per room, and you can take pictures after choosing Tibetan clothes. It is very popular. The room is fully equipped, floor heating + diffuse oxygen supply + humidifier, and spare nasal straws. We lived in the ancient city of Dukezong the day before and it was a little high. We didn’t sleep well at night. It felt very good when we arrived here. If the physique is very sensitive, I feel a little stuffy. You can open a little window a little bit, it will not be cold. 😍 If the next itinerary has not been set, the parents of the same group said that they still want to stay for a day or two 🌹

Our entire stay was excellent, thanks to Heidi's thoughtful and attentive service, and the polite and enthusiastic staff. All the service details were spot on. The hotel has been open for ten years, so some facilities are a bit dated. My main wish for improvement would be the guest room TVs; even standard small hotels now support screen mirroring, but a five-star hotel doesn't, which is quite inconvenient. For our extended stay, we were given a 270-degree view room with expansive high-altitude views that were stunning. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the bedding was soft, significantly enhancing our experience. Aside from the minor disappointment with the TV equipment, everything else—dining, service, and views—was impeccable. It remains our preferred choice when visiting Kunming. The overall location is very good, the bed was comfortable to sleep in, and the room layout was well-designed and excellent. The hotel offers great high-altitude views, perfect for relaxing after exploring, enjoying a bath and a drink while overlooking the city.

When I first booked this hotel, I thought we would be staying in a quiet rural area but I was completely wrong! Right in front of the hotel is one of Kunming’s busiest and most vibrant night markets, making the location absolutely fantastic. As for the hotel itself, everything was excellent. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made our stay even more enjoyable. We stayed in a very comfortable suite that featured two king-size beds, a projector with a large screen, a sofa, and plenty of space to relax. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Overall, I have nothing to complain about. This was a wonderful stay, we stayed there for 11 days comfortably and if I return to Kunming in the future, I would definitely book this hotel again. Highly recommended!
