Hotels With Gym in Puntarenas, Costa Rica

Otherwise amazing hotel plagued by rude staff and tour buses. First, this a hotel is used by Americans in bus tours - expect hundreds of them any given time. Second, the staff is incredibly rude. We had an issue with our keys and the reception employee, Ana Belen, refused to help us or even try to understand the issue. TV turned up by itself in the middle of the night. The toilet flush situation is terrible, there is simply no pressure. The good thing, hotel is nearby the Cloud Reserve, breakfast is good and pool looks good.

Stayed at this beautiful hotel for two nights. Very clean and comfortable and excellent friendly staff. Beautiful swimming pools and tennis courts, also pool tables. For those into fitness there is a Gym on the property with all sorts of equipment for exercising. Ipad size safe in the room. WIFI, breakfast, and onsite parking included. Would definately return someday....hopefully for a longer stay.

The service at this hotel was very good, and the food was okay. The main issue was the room. The curtains had holes, and the walls were so thin you could hear absolutely everything, even just people opening their luggage in other rooms. The shower was in the bathtub, and the water would just pool up while we were showering. The room just wasn't comfortable :(

Nice resort only 1hour15 minutes from airport. Long beachfront. Plenty of food and drink

The service in this hotel is exceptional and staff are well trained and very sweet This hotel made my stay better, you can see many animals here, you are basically in the wild The food is great

They spoil you here! They have a WhatsApp set up for their guest services and it made it all the more spoiled. I was at the spa and I needed ice for my drink that I brought there and all I did was message and they brought it right to me. The food was great breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There was free shuttle service to Agua Azules and the town, which was perfect because we booked parasailing with Agua Azules and they dropped us off right at there steps. The room was clean. The property was beautiful. We got to see sloths, iguanas, and monkeys! The monkeys were right outside our hotel building (we booked a vista suite) when checking out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Montverde. Hotel Poco a Poco was a wonderful hotel, quaint, personal and beautiful. The location was great and we enjoyed the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. We did not use the spa service but did enjoy the walk through the gardens.

The hotel service was wonderful, however for charging so much per night, it needs new common area furniture, the common areas smell old and musty, needs hot water in the shower, new mattresses in the rooms and a new remote control for the tv. The AC did not go down beyond 74.

Hotel is excellent, level is not lower **** stars, breakfast can be chosen, staff is trying and at them it turns out, quietly, quietly comfortable, manager Alexander, communicates in several languages, including Russian!!! A pair of jaguan male and female sat on a tree five meters from my balcony, male pose, female shy, then disappeared. Beautiful view from the window and from the balcony down the pool.
