Good value for money, though it’s quite far from Frankfurt’s city center (e.g., Römerberg). If you don’t mind a ~1 km walk to the nearest train station, it’s a good trade-off compared to more expensive hotels in central Frankfurt

The location is VERY close the airport so it was very convenient when it was time to fly out. Right outside it the Metro, so I was able to move around and explore parts of the city, specifically Frankfurt's New Old Town. Behind the hotel is a garden area where I did my morning walks. The room was very clean and spacious. I have no complaints. The staff were AMAZING! They answered all my questions about the area and they povided helpful tips on how to navigate the Metro. Overall thetrip was one of the smoothest and relaxed experience I have ever had.

I booked based on being able to check in early; I know airlines crews use this hotel. When I got to the hotel, I could check in early but after 10 AM for additional 50 euros. If I wanted to check in before that I would have to pay for an extra day. I had prepaid the hotel, so I ate that loss and used the 50 euros to apply for a taxi out of there. I asked in an email about early check in which is why I booked that hotel - the email outlined the charge but was not specific in saying before 10 am was another night charge. Wish hotel policy was clearer. Arriving at 05:30, and having to sit in the lobby for hours after 15 hours of flying was unacceptable.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn at Frankfurt Airport this time. Its location is right opposite Terminal 1. From my room, I could see the airport out the window. However, it's not convenient to walk there with luggage. You can take the S9 train one stop to Gateway Gardens, and the hotel is straight ahead a short walk from the station. (I have no sense of direction, and the first time I followed Google Maps, I took a detour. Actually, you just need to walk straight from the exit). The king-size room was quite spacious by European standards, clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities like a kettle, hairdryer, and toiletries (shampoo/body wash). You need to ask the front desk for a toothbrush and slippers. Even though it's near the airport, the soundproofing is excellent; there was hardly any noise. The hotel offers self-service check-in and check-out. It took a little getting used to at first, but it's actually very smart and quick. The breakfast food was decent, with a reasonable variety. As someone with a 'Chinese stomach,' no matter how many options there are, I only eat what my digestive system can handle. Hot cocoa, scrambled eggs, small sausages, bacon – these hot items, plus some apple juice, were more than enough for me. I also want to praise the lovely lady at the restaurant reception who checked me in for breakfast. On my second morning, I was rushing to catch a train and quickly checked out. I was just planning to have some hot tea before leaving, and she kindly gave me a bag to take some food with me for the journey. It was very thoughtful. Receiving such kindness in a foreign country is truly heartwarming. Overall, I'm very satisfied. If you're just looking for a transit hotel, this is an excellent choice. There are many hotels in this area, and also a supermarket nearby. If you plan to explore the city, I recommend staying downtown. Although it's not far from the city center, crossing different fare zones makes transportation quite expensive, and buying train tickets in Germany can be a real hassle. P.S. German trains are highly likely to be delayed, so always allow plenty of extra time for your journey.

Room are large, bed is ok, but still a nice hotel and bar, staff are very friendly and supportive. Only downside is is there’s no combin promotion with kids stay for free at breakfast time which means will reduce amount of of families visiting.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the bed was excellent for a good night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with any questions. The location was perfect—close to the US Embassy, an asian restaurant and public transport. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The facilities and services are good, and the room has two separate beds. Although it's compact, it has everything you need. The bathroom's separate wet and dry areas with a sliding door are well-designed, and the mirror has an anti-fog function. The hotel offers breakfast; it's the same every day but quite comprehensive. The location is on the quieter side of the main train station, and tram 37 goes directly there. Getting to the exhibition center is a bit more troublesome, taking about 30 minutes by foot or public transport. There's a small riverside park nearby where you can take a stroll.

VVaish’sI had a comfortable and convenient stay at Hampton by Hilton Frankfurt Messe during my recent trip. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location—it’s very close to the Frankfurt Messe (exhibition center) and well-connected by tram and train, making it easy to get around the city. The rooms are clean, modern, and well-maintained. While not very spacious, they are thoughtfully designed and perfect for a short business or leisure stay. The bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was decent, ensuring a good night’s sleep. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast, which had a good spread including breads, fruits, eggs, and beverages. It can get a bit crowded during peak hours, but the staff manages it reasonably well. The staff were polite and helpful, assisting promptly with check-in and any queries. A small downside is that the hotel can feel a bit busy due to its proximity to the Messe, especially during events. Also, room sizes may feel slightly compact if you’re traveling with multiple suitcases. Overall, it’s a great value-for-money hotel in Frankfurt, especially if you want convenience, cleanliness, and reliable service without spending too much.

EEutamaThe Westin Grand Frankfurt offers an excellent central location with unbeatable access to public transport and nearby markets, but the in-room climate control and wellness facilities were disappointing during this stay. Overall, it works well as a convenient city base, especially if you value being close to U- and S-Bahn connections and local weekend markets.Room and comfortThe room itself was comfortable but unfortunately too warm, and it was not obvious how to adjust the temperature settings. There was no clear guidance in-room on changing the climate controls, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.Facilities and closuresAlthough the hotel advertises an indoor pool and sauna as part of its wellness offering, both the pool and sauna were closed during this stay, which was a let-down. This is worth checking in advance if these facilities are important for your trip.Location and transportThe location is one of the hotel’s strongest points, set on Konrad-Adenauer-Straße right by the Zeil shopping area and within easy reach of major sights. U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations are very close, making it simple to reach Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, the airport and other parts of the city in just a few minutes.Markets and nearby vibeThe surrounding area has a lively city feel, and there is a weekend market within walking distance, adding a nice local touch to the stay. Being able to step out of the hotel and quickly reach both shops and market stalls is a real advantage if you enjoy browsing food and local products.Overall impressionThis hotel is a solid choice for location and public transport access, especially if you plan to explore Frankfurt’s centre and markets on foot. However, unclear room temperature controls and the closure of the pool and sauna during the stay meant the experience did not fully meet expectations.

JJozhazhaWhen i checked in on November 6th, the reception lady is not so nice. I asked clearly if you have a room in higher foor. She just ignored me!!! AND i asked again and she said no room in higher floor. She then gave me a room in the 2nd floor. I accepted but when i entered the room, i found the window cannot open like last time. So I went back to her and asked a room with open window at any floor. Then she gave a room on the highest floor at 6th!!! So what about a min ago ”no room in higher floor”??? Then, i tried to open the window several time and it absolutely did'nt work!!! I can sense that she a little racist. Bacause I am Asian.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is very clean and the facilities are new. However, the breakfast restaurant requires a bit of a walk; after taking the elevator to the lobby, you still need to go down some stairs and exit to reach it, and the signage isn't clear. Also, there were very few signs leading to the hotel from the airport. Even though it was right across the road, it took us a long time to find the pathway, which was quite inconvenient when dragging luggage.

MMarkusThe hotel itself its quite ok. The only thing i need to complain is the service. Be aware that they will ask you for a credit card when checking in. I dont have one. The service staff refused to let me check in even i had payed the roomrate already and even i offered that they can double charge me in case its for deposit reasons and later refund me the overpaied money. They refused that, they also refused to refund my money when i offered them to chose another hotel. They also refused to let me speak to their manager. At the end, the only choice i had was asking a friend to help me out with his credit card. Be aware of that, either you have a credit card ready or you keep distance from this hotel.

JJulieta De FranceschiWhat I liked about the Lyf Hotel was its communal workspaces, the kitchen that can be used throughout the day, and the meeting and conference space, which is really good. The gardens weren’t used much because of the cold. The vegan restaurant was always full, though I didn’t try it. The room is comfortable for one or two people—at least the one I booked. The location is good, in the Ostende area, with several restaurants and cafés nearby, including a very good Italian and a Vietnamese place. It’s an office district, so there are plenty of options, and public transportation is not far. It takes about 15 minutes by taxi to get to the exhibition center. The hotel itself is quite private. I didn’t like that, under the justification of being sustainable, they don’t clean the room until the third night. So if you book for fewer nights, be aware of this. I had to request cleaning multiple times, and the staff, since they often work in replacement shifts, didn’t always communicate well with each other. It wasn’t until the manager stepped in that they finally cleaned the room. Additionally, they charge an extra €2 per day on top of the reservation, something to keep in mind for longer stays.
