Just a few minutes' walk from Liverpool train station. It's an older hotel with plenty of rooms, and it was pretty quiet at night. The room itself was quite spacious. It's super convenient for exploring the city center. We stayed one day in Liverpool mainly to catch a home game for the Liverpool team. The bus stop right across from the train station gets you to Anfield Stadium in less than half an hour. On the way back, the queue for the 917 bus was incredibly long, but thankfully the rain had started to let up.

I stayed **Monday, August 11 to Tuesday, August 12, 2025** — just one night — and check-in after 3 PM was smooth. No waiting, no hassle. Check-out before 11 AM was equally chill. The room itself was modern, comfy, and spotlessly clean — exactly what I needed. Not five-star fancy, but everything worked, it felt cared for, and I actually got a great night's sleep. One thing I really appreciated? **The transparency.** The bulk was paid upfront, and I only had to hand over £2.40 on-site — no surprise fees. Plus, knowing Trip.com backs it with a price match and stay guarantee gave me peace of mind. I recently stayed at the Hampton by Hilton in Liverpool in Room 323. While my overall experience was great—the room was excellent and the price was fair—I have some feedback regarding the front desk service. As a professional with 15 years in the hotel industry, I felt the welcome at reception was lacking. After my wife checked in, I arrived and went to the front desk to inform them. They were not very welcoming and didn't offer any directions to my room or to the lifts, even though this was my first visit. I believe your staff would benefit from additional training on guest interaction and hospitality standards. This is not a complaint but rather constructive feedback to help you improve.

A modern hotel, overlooking the sea, within walking distance of Southport's main attractions. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and well equipped and it was serviced daily, which is not always the case these days. Lots of choice for breakfast. We opted for the set dinner, which was fairly limited but sufficient for one night.

I’m so glad we booked here! The front desk service was super friendly and they even had a free wine and cheese night! The room was spacious and clean. It’s an easy walk into the city center. You have to pay extra for parking but they reduce it with a voucher

It was a nice stay. comfortable pros: service- helpful trainee at desk got me a dental kit and brought to room. I also forgot my shaving foam and comb but they didn’t have these avaiilable breakfast: sensible not spectacular. Id like individual yoghurt pots and more fruits.maybe marmite? Food was on high turnover at busy times so can be a wait to get tables cleaned gym: ok- cons: bedside table very dusty see pictures

This stay was a little disappointing although the room and executive lounge were good value the lounge was boiling hot and air con not working and also the room had no water from 11pm - 4am. This is unacceptable when the weather is so hot not being able to get a shower at night. The hotel agreed to refund 25% of the cost but this isn’t really good enough . On departing we were told that they no longer do the Hilton Q park voucher unless the parking is pre booked online . This is ridiculous also .

The location is perfect for solo traveling. Great service. Easy to check in. But remember to bring toothpaste and toothbrush. They don’t provide it.

When we arrived, we noticed we had been given a far inferior room than we've ever had before. The view was terrible. There was no fridge which we have always had before and the room looked 'tired'...in need of TLC. I went to reception to tell them I was not happy. Anyway they did sort it. Gave us another room with a better view and the young girl on reception brought us an old, but working mini fridge.. so it worked out OK in the end ( I need a fridge to put some of my medication in.) Another lady on the desk was very curt when I said there was no fridge and stated....not all rooms automatically have a fridge in them. Sorry but I thought they did. Whoever makes loose leaf tea in the restaurant needs to learn it is 1 tsp of tea per person and 1 for the pot. In this case 3tsp of tea and not half a teapot full. I kid you not. See pic below. We got a refund for some of the tea, but nit for the cream tea my friend had. My friend had ordered a cream tea and me, just a tea. Yet they brought a pot of tea for 2, which is the wrong etiquette for an order like this. Hence we only got 2 cups out of it, because of the amount of loose tea in there. I think I have been spoiled by the superior standard of the rooms, when we have stayed before....I just presumed all their rooms would be like this

Good location but have to comment about you quilt on king size bed was covered in stains with clean duvet cover over only i had to move it as it was wedged against wall i wouldn't have seen anything i didn't think of taking a photo of it
