⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend — A Wonderful Stay! After 6 days of traveling, Novotel Budapest felt like a true home base. The breakfast spread alone is worth it — fresh fruits, sausages, cold cuts, unlimited juice and coffee, hot meals, and as a Filipino traveler, I was delighted to find rice! A small touch that meant a lot after days on the road. The pool and sauna were a perfect way to unwind after long days of sightseeing. The bed was comfortable, and I loved the thoughtful detail of drinking water stations on each floor so guests can refill their bottles. Location-wise, it’s excellent — within a 30-minute walk to the Parliament Building, the iconic Shoes on the Danube Shore, and St. Stephen’s Basilica. Prefer public transport? The nearest stop is just a 4-minute walk away. A well-rounded hotel that balances comfort, convenience, and great amenities. I’d stay here again without hesitation!❤️

The Basiliq Hotel was beautiful and clean. It is perfectly located for all the main tourist sites and is right in front of the Basilica. I didn’t need to use any Bolt taxis, as everything was within walking distance. There were also many wonderful restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was one of the nicest stays I’ve had. It really made my trip to Budapest special. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a layover and stayed overnight. Check-in was only available after 3 PM. We stored our luggage and went to the city. When we returned at 11:30 PM, the front desk was closed! A non-hotel staff member had to open the door for us! A taxi from the airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to the airport, takes about 15 minutes and costs around 20 euros. Getting to the city center by public bus takes about an hour.

The breakfast was delicious, and I was happy to find miso soup, which is a nice touch for Japanese guests. The room was clean, but I was troubled when the body soap dispenser was empty. It was refilled during the cleaning on the second morning. On the day of checkout, while I was relaxing in my room, a cleaner tried to enter without knocking, which startled me. I recommend using the chain lock.

This is a pretty standard hotel, but it's really close to the airport and they have a shuttle service, which is super convenient. It's also very quiet, making it perfect for travelers flying in or out, or those on a layover. The rooms are clean and tidy, and all the amenities you need are there, including a water heater. I especially liked how the toilet, sink, and shower are all separated – very well thought out. Overall, a great hotel that I'd definitely recommend.

This hotel truly excels in every aspect – its ambiance, facilities, service, and location are all impeccable. Being right next to Fisherman's Bastion, the hotel boasts an unbeatable location. I upgraded to a room with a view, and it was absolutely worth the extra cost. The panoramic scenery was breathtaking, definitely a worthwhile splurge. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, even mentioning that this particular room offered one of the best views, making the viewing experience truly exceptional. The room itself was very comfortable, providing a relaxing and peaceful stay. Breakfast could be delivered to the room, and while there was an extra service charge, the selection was extensive and varied, offering plenty of choices. Getting around was incredibly convenient. Fisherman's Bastion is just about a minute's walk away, making sightseeing incredibly easy. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

The location was excellent, close to everything we needed. The area felt safe and convenient. The place's cleanliness was also impressive, everything was tidy, well-maintained, and fresh. However, the AC didn’t work properly and wasn’t cooling the room effectively, which made things uncomfortable.

All round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas. The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.  Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.  Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.  Hence the reason for a lower review score.  Aside from this I would recommend the hotel.

The location is absolutely unbeatable, right next to a bustling commercial district and shopping malls. The surrounding city architecture is modern and stylish, giving the area an open and grand feel. The hotel's food is delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The service team is warm, polite, efficient, and attentive. Overall, everything about this hotel is excellent. It offers great comfort and convenience for getting around, making it highly recommended.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent. The room was very clean, and the bathroom was well equipped, inclusion nice touches like hand lotion and makeup removal wipes, which we don’t usually find. The hotel may be a bit older in terms of furniture, but everything was spotless and well maintained. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The breakfast was varied and delicious. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.
