Due to an unexpected curtailing of a cruise I needed a hotel close to the airport at a decent price and this one fitted the bill. Check in easy. Room on floor 6 was spacious and clean with 2 single beds. TV channels all Italian. You're in Italy so fair enough. Not much round in terms of eateries on foot that I could see so Deliveroo will be your friend. Breakfast not great but it was in with the price so 🤷 Genoa airport is about 150m away so easily walkable which was my main reason for using. Not really close to Genoa centre so will have limited appeal to tourists although there are lovely mountain views to the rear.

We arrived at late night after a long trip, and we have been welcomed from a really sweet guy who helped us to park our car ,and also offered us a beer .. the room was clean and spacious,the hotel is new and has a stylus and smart concept... we had to stay only 1 night but we extend 1 more nite in order to rest and relax before going back home.. the day after we met elder who seems to be the manager who gave us so many informations on what to see in genova and where to eat proper Italian food .. we felt like home,it wasn’t expected,such a great surprise at the end of our road trip through Europe.. definitely recommended .. we will stay again if we will ever come back to genova.. thanks guys

Beautiful hotel near the station and port. Arrived in late and got a lovely welcome. The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was excellent ! Check out was easy and breakfast was good. There is a free luggage storage service too. Overall a lovely stay.

The staff were all fantastic and very helpful at dealing with our requests, helping us book taxis etc. The room was clean and pleasant with a nice bathroom and shower, the continental breakfast buffet was great and the views from the pool were great. The booking system for the pool meant you had a guaranteed slot but could only use it once a day. It is a shame that it costs so much money to use the beach, particularly paying $50 for two sunbeds when there's only one of you. I would happily stay again if you could use the private beach for free as a guest.

Although the room facilities are old, they are well maintained and the scenery is great The large terrace makes me just want to stay on the terrace and bask in the sun. The hotel caters very well and the service is very professional. Breakfast is on a large balcony. Pigeons are picking up fallen bread crumbs at your feet. Dinner is exquisite at the beach club listening to the crashing waves. The food and service are also very convenient for traveling. If I come back here again, I will definitely choose this hotel and this room type.

Excellent location, just at the train station. We booked through booking.com and got an excellent deal. We were 3 adults and there are plenty of rooms to accommodate families and a small group of friends. Please note that there is city tax to be paid on site. Also just wanted to say a huge huge thank you to the staff. Amazingly helpful. Helped us to check in after hours and then when staying again, helped to order pizza 😊. And you can store your luggage. Breakfast is included. You will get a voucher which can be redeemed in 2 places. It's for a cup of coffee and a fresh pastry. Typical light Italian breakfast. Delicious. Just a note, to make sure you go to the correct one, ask before. As there are 2. One has RED flower pots in front and the other has WHITE. The staff is very helpful, and can chat to via WhatsApp. Thanks again!!!

Location in the center on a narrow street pedestrian! Nearby there is everything. Before the sea 10 minutes walk . The room is spacious, comfortable. There is a refrigerator, the air conditioner worked perfectly. Excellent staff on the wotsapp. In general, a great option to live right in the center of San Remo!

The outside of the building is a ”fine example” of 1980's architecture, i.e. grim! Our room was on the first floor, level with some ”feature” triangles in the roof, which served no purpose at all other than to spoil the view of the harbour! Upon entering reception the feel is very opulent. The reception staff were not particularly welcoming...but we were checking in around 10pm (that being the time our flight had landed). We were rather hoping for some food, but the kirchen closed at 10pm, so all we were offered was a ”Cheese Toastie” (which, although very welcoming, did rather strike me that the Hotel was not ”in tune” with flight times and the potential for guests to be checking in and not wanting to have to find a restaurant outside the hotel at that time of the night! The room was large, but had the air of a Hotel Room which had seen nearly 40 years of good servbice, wtihout a great deal of care and attention taken to its upkeep. For example, the built-in wardrobe/cupboard door did not open properly, there was a large scratch on the ”feature” wood panelling around the room and the tile grouting in the shower was black with mould in places. BUT...on the plus side, the air-conditioning worked...and was not too noisey, the room was big enough for the two of us. The bed was large (albeit a big ”squishy” for my liking and there was a kettle/coffee pod machine so we could make our own drinks. We were there for 5 nights, so it is important - in my book - that if you're payng those kind of prices that the room is perfect...It wasn't really perfect. Similarly, because of its location right next door to the Aquarium, there were a large number of small children there, obviously from rich families who were not massively adept at controlling them. We never ate uin the restaurant in the evening, but did take our drinks onto the terrace one evening, where lots of diners had booked a table outside. A famly with three children under 5 then arrived and they continued to scream, run about the place and generally make a relaxzing space very VERY stressful. We took our drinks inside and I happened to comment in my best(?) Italian that the children were beng too noisey...some minutes later the family came inside...and I thought we were going to ahve to move again, but they went out of the hotel altogether! Unfortunately, we were not able to move so quickly the next morning at breakfast, where there was the same family creating havoc in the breakfast area! Next time we will ahve to fnd a hotel which is ”Adults Only”...Being a father of two (now grown-up) children, we were constantly on alert so that our kids didn'6t cause disruption to anyone else around us...That - however - doesn't seem to be the ”European way”! Location-wise was amazing, right on the harbour quaryside. The double-glazing did an amazing job of blanking out the ”city noise” from the elevated road and the late-night revellers in the myriad of cafes and bars on the old har

A big hotel with clean rooms! There are many halls nearby! The hotel waiters are enthusiastic about helping travelers. Most importantly, it is close to the station, and it is especially convenient to travel to and from Milan! I have lived three times and love it every time!

This hotel is well situated in a quiet area near all attractions. It is fun in its minimalistic and slick design. The beds are huge and comfortable. The air con works well, the showers are invigorating and the Hotel is eco friendly. All these things are great but what makes this Hotel stand out way beyond most others is the staff. Each and every person I have dealt with here is interested, helpful, professional and at all times caring. At a time I was beginning to lose hope in the service industry The Poet Hotel has restored my faith. We have loved our unexpected time here.

The room was super nice! You can directly see the sea, and it is also close to the market, so it is very convenient to go anywhere. There are not many tourists in this small town, not as many as Genoa, very comfortable and peaceful, very, very recommended!

This hotel was the perfect location for us - super close (within 2 mins walk) of the train station which was fab as we used Genoa as a base to explore the coastal region. Hotel room was really lovely and clean. We had a large balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. Naturally being central to a city it is noiser with the road outside but we found the shutters very useful to cancel a lot of this out. Breakfast was fine and the 2 restaurants available as part of the hotel (or Savoia next door) were so handy. With the main Savoia restaurant on floor 7 brilliant - incredible food & a far reaching view. I'd highly recommend for a stay if you're in Genoa.

This hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the railway station ... mostly through a pedestrian street full of shops, restaurants etc. The hotel is well signed but, at the entrance, it looks more like an office building as reception is on the 1st floor. The room is simple and modern. It has an opening french window onto a small balcony. Good desk for writing. Comfortable bed. Well appointed bathroom with shower, bidet, WC etc. WIFI worked well. TV in the room. Apart from the pedestrian street outside, the main shopping area is only 5 minutes away and the start of the old city 10 minutes away. Excellent location. Breakfast was great value at €4.50 per person. Staff were very friendly and I heard the the man on reception speaking fluent English, French and Italian ... maybe more. Very welcome and would suit the young at heart of any age.

We stayed for one night in Genoa before our flight the next day. The hotel is located a little away from the main areas and not much amenity around but close to cruise terminals and airport. Check in and particularly check in staff were very good. Rooms was fine with all essentials provided such as basic toiletries, safe, TV. Breakfast was include and had plenty of choices.

The room was very large for a family of 4 people, a few steps away from the station, top staff. Gentle and available, it seems to be at home.

This hotel lies north of Genoa city. Approximately 15-20 minutes of a boredom drive through the gutters of the city. A nice surprise when you see the hotel coming up uphill. Nice and convenient parking behind the hotel. The staff is very very friendly. Check-in' went quick. Elevators are slow. Wi-Fi is adequate. Room coverage is ok. The room itself is clean, basic+ and small-medium sized. Bed is ok, but I think the matrasses could be replaced. There is a modern and spacious gym in the hotel with great Technogym equipment. The breakfast is good to perfect and the staff serving and maintaining it is the best I had since a long time. I had a wonderful (business) stay at this hotel and will return. The even have electric car chargers, which is a plus!

Great hotel in perfect location adjacent to all the shops, restaurants, harbor and beach. This was our second stay at hotel. Staff were all very helpful and spoke English, and accommodated our request for early check-in. We had 3 single rooms on the second floor, all near each other, and we were fortunate to each have a balcony. Rooms were beautifully remodeled, modern, well appointed and very clean. Highly recommend!

I stayed 3 nights (triple for double use) and I must say that the room was very spacious and the bathroom was large. I honestly didn't expect a change of towels and a minimum of cleaning every day. Area is perfect! You are in the center, 2 steps from the first beach and close to the station. Tips for improvement: There is no reception, but I would pay more attention to contacts via email. If I didn't call I would never have received an answer. Put at least a small fridge for the summer or some machines where you can buy water.

Sehr saubere, neu renovierte Zimmer. Superschöne Gartenanlage mit Terrasse und toller Aussicht. Frühstücksbuffet ausreichend. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parkplätze im Hotelgelände, der Strand ist in 5min zu Fuß erreichbar, in die Stadt hinein ca 30 min. Weshalb wir mit dem Auto zum Abendessen fuhren. Sehr schönes kleines Hotel(20 Zimmer) das Nebengebäude wird gerade renoviert dann kommen noch mal 60 Zimmer dazu. Das einzige negative war das Klappbett für unsere Tochter das war sehr klein und unbequem selbst für ein Kind.

My wife and I thought it was excellent. The rooms were very very clean, and spacious. The automatic check-in was easy. Plenty of towels. Even the TV was large. Located right in the center, with fantastic restaurants like 5 steps from the entrance. My wife and I enjoyed the first night so much, we decided to stay a second night. For the price, it would be hard to do better. We would definitely stay there again.

Monaco is too expensive, the Italian town hotel is set. The price is super good. The parking is also free. The invincible sea view. The breakfast is also confiscated. The service attitude is good.

We kind of got a bad feeling from arrival at the Hotel when we were told they don’t provide assistance with luggage, 16 stairs to climb with luggage was not a good start while the two front office staff sat behind the counter offering no assistance or help. This was followed by a issue in regards to beach access, the hotel web site states beach access courtesy of Hotel, be but we were informed they charge 45 EUR a day, the young girl girl working at the reception told us this is alway a problem with guests and the hotel should update its website. In the end we walked across the road to the club to find they only charge 22 EUR a day for two sun beds and an umbrella, it seems the hotel puts a 100% mark up on the price they charge. In the end we walked 300 meters along the beach and found a great beach club charging 14 EUR for two guests and spent our week there with a better beach and great restaurant and bar for lunch. Rooms are good size and bright but the hotel is poorly managed with staff not providing any levels of service. Breakfast is poor and impossible to get coffee. HK vacuuming corridors outside guest rooms late at night, all showing little management of the hotel. There are better options including Hotels with pools that we will book for our next visit to beautiful Sanremo.

Prices are where they are because of the level of the hotel. Building itself is fantastic and located beautifully in Sanremo. The public areas are lovely too. Rooms are clean and housekeeping staff are very polite and accommodating. But the small of things can be fixed and improved: no additional plug sockets for your electrical appliances. Shower shelf is way too high and only shower gel provided (no soap, no shampoo, no conditioner). Hair dryer is way way out of date. Closet still has those old hotel hangers so you don’t steal the hanger. One window missing entire curtain so no privacy. Sofa bed is not a sofa bed and shouldn’t be used for 3rd person. Mini bar fridge doesn’t even fit in the mini bar cupboard so just dumped on the side. Worst of all: heating gets switched off at night and AC unit not working. They seem to be cutting corners here and could do so much better. Shame
