First and foremost, the location of the Anglo American Hotel is superb. Situated in the heart of Florence, it offers easy access to the city's major attractions, including the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and Uffizi Gallery. The hotel's central location made it convenient for me to explore the city on foot and truly immerse myself in its rich history and culture. The hotel itself has a charming and elegant ambiance. The interior is tastefully decorated, combining classic elements with modern touches. The common areas, such as the lobby and lounge, are inviting and provide a comfortable space to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff at the Anglo American Hotel deserves special praise. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, professional, and attentive. They were always ready to assist with any queries or requests I had, and their local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable in helping me navigate the city and discover hidden gems. My room at the hotel was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the room amenities, including a flat-screen TV and minibar, met my expectations. The cleanliness and tidiness of the room were maintained throughout my stay, thanks to the diligent housekeeping staff. While the hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, it does offer a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. The breakfast spread was varied and catered to different tastes and dietary preferences. I particularly enjoyed the freshly baked pastries and the selection of local cheeses and cured meats. One minor drawback was the absence of a fitness center or spa facilities within the hotel. However, the staff was helpful in providing information about nearby fitness centers and wellness options, ensuring that guests have access to these amenities if desired. In summary, my stay at the Anglo American Hotel Florence was a delightful experience. The prime location, attentive staff, and comfortable accommodations contributed to a memorable visit to this beautiful city. While the absence of certain amenities was a minor drawback, it did not significantly impact my overall satisfaction with the hotel. The most beautiful, quiet peaceful place, breakfast buffet was great, the views are breathtaking, staff goes over and beyond, thank you Andrea, other guest friendly, everyone happy. Loved it want to return for a longer stay. Pool nice also

I stayed at the Continental Hotel for a night on August 16 and found my mixed experience. Although it is a 4-star hotel, I noticed some areas that could benefit from a restructuring. Position and services: The hotel's location is certainly a favourable point, being directly on the sea and equipped with a large pool, but I found a disadvantage with regard to the service on the beach. It was not told me that it was only available until 12:00 the next day. This detail was revealed by the bathroom, which told me that I should have paid for half a day if I wanted to stay on the beach until 16:00, when I had to leave the building. Room and cleaning: The room was quite small and I noticed that the windows were dirty, which did not make a good impression when I arrived. Frokost: The breakfast was in the average and, although I had no alternatives available, I found it good enough to start the day. Price: Finally, the price I paid for one night seemed rather high compared to the services offered, especially since I was looking for a more accessible stay. In conclusion, the Continental Hotel has a good potential thanks to its location, but there are aspects that require significant improvements to justify the price and expectations of a 4-star hotel. I hope that management will take these suggestions into account in order to provide better experience in the future.

However, if you value proximity to the city, robust Wi-Fi, or a stellar breakfast, you might want to consider other options.

Great Hotel. Excellent location and accessible to most attractions. Pleasant check-in and can state that all staff were extremely nice and helpful. Amazing room provided (complementary upgrade). Kitchenette with sitting area, large bedroom with comfortable bed and pillows. Large bathroom with a massive spa bath. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

I was caught in a heavy downpour and completely soaked when I went to pick up my luggage after checking out. I was really struggling, so I truly appreciated being offered a towel and a hairdryer. Thank you very much. However, in the room, only one power outlet seemed to be working, which was inconvenient. Also, there was a leak in the bathroom sink.

Honestly, this was the best hotel of our trip, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Florence. **Facilities**: The room design is great, and those facing the street even have small balconies. **Cleanliness**: Spotless, no complaints. **Environment**: The hotel's location is a bit tricky if you're driving. While it's not actually *in* the ZTL, it's right next to it, making it easy to accidentally drive into the restricted zone. Also, the trams outside can be a bit noisy, but it's fine once you close the windows and doors. **Service**: The service was a bit slow-paced. I had to complete check-in before I could even access the parking lot, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, the hotel's design is excellent and I highly recommend it.

I checked in on my birthday, and they surprised me with champagne 🥂 and a cake 🍰. Sometimes hotels just win you over with these little, thoughtful details. Even though I paid a hefty €110 for parking, it doesn't stop me from giving you five stars! 👍

First off, great crew at the front desk. Whether it’s answering my calls requesting the ironing board, or calling a cab for me the day of my departure, they were always available and willing to help. The issue is they might have overdone it in one instance when I put a note on the room door before leaving asking not to be disturbed and came back to see someone had gotten into my room, changed sheets and towels + “arranged” my stuff. Nice intention but got me confused looking for certain things. The gym was also a little disappointing: tiny, very limited equipment and only fit for one person at a time. It’s really a space to do yoga and stretch, with one treadmill. But it helped nonetheless. The real elephant in the room was the location. I found this hotel looking for a place in Florence and this is very misleading from the booking platforms. The city is Prato, there are no Ubers, public transit tricky to navigate (walk 10-15 minutes + take 2 buses and a train to get to Florence in a trip that totals 1h30 min on average) and taxis are rare + expensive (the cheapest I paid was 50€ for a 13 min trip to the airport). Not to mention most taxi drivers are clearly scamming you because they know you’re desperate, turning off their meters and asking you to pay cash. Overall, not my most memorable experience and would only recommend if you’re staying in Prato. If you plan to visit Florence and are tempted to book a cheaper hotel north of the city, think twice.

The hotel is about a twenty-minute drive from the train station. If you turn right after exiting the hotel, there's a bus stop within a two-minute walk that takes you directly to the Florence Cathedral. Walk an extra minute and you'll find a large supermarket with a great selection of goods, perfect for buying food to cook back at the hotel. Our room (Room 13) was spacious, with a separate kitchen, walk-in closet, bathroom, and a huge terrace. I booked four nights consecutively for just over 3700 yuan. Breakfast isn't included. This is a guesthouse converted from an old house, and it's very quiet. It overlooks a garden, which provides a lovely environment. There's also a gym on the basement level, though I didn't get around to using it.
